I used to utilize poloniex and bittrex. But now I am afraid of losing my money from there, so I shifted to Binance and Kucoin. God-like exchanges they are. Sometimes I use shapeshift and changelly. Also I like rudex.

It is possible but you need to do huge research of altcoins in bitcointalk (technology, team, github, social, roadmap, coins distribution). From my experience it's very hard! You need much time to analyze all shitcoins and choose one really perspective. I even don't know which coins in future can bring you a fortune because it is not easy to predict, so as from my analysis I have chosen the following coins up to now: RLC, MCO, ARK, ADA, XEL, POWR, IOTA, VEN, BURST, MUSICCOIN, MOD, XEM, DGB, BTS, ICX, STELLAR . Also you should search some coins from not top 100 but others. Good luck.

I definitely stay for LTC. Firstly all new bitcoin amendments are tested on litecoin and then implemented in bitcoin blockchain. So litecoin is a pioneer.

Dont forget a flat nature of litecoin. It fires 1 time. then flat. Fire again. Flat. So now we it has risen. We need a correction to 150 - 200 to gain some potential for a new ATH. I am litecoin enthusiast and keep it since September. If you dont have much money to buy BTC, you can surely invest in LTC and it will give you multiplied profit in future. At least I recommend to hodl all the cryptos till 2021

FMO. Don't invest your initial capital in ICO. There is a great opportunity of losing your money! When I ve just entered crypto sphere, I bought many altcoins and saw people investing in ICO. Those ICOs are still not on exchanges or the price is lower than initial one. From my experience I can recommend you to invest in top 10 cryptos except MIOTA and bitconnect. Even in particular you can invest in BTC, LTC, ETH, DASH, XMR, NEO, XEM. And dont try to trade. Just hodl! If you had this knowledge in May I would make +100-200%.

According to the coins you are intended to buy, I wouldn't recommend you to buy WINGS and CVC. They seem to be a scam. SYS is a very perspective coin, we will see 2x in 2018. STORJ has already used its potential and I don't see many announcements from devs. Regarding GNT - highly recommend to buy it.
All coins having an official wallets can be stored there. For others you can use myether or exchanges. And the most important notice: keep all your passwords and paraphrases in hard copy, otherwise someday you can lose everything.
