I don't believe it's still suitable for retailers to trade using bitcoin. Technology is not the best for small transactions and customers won't be using BTC to pay unless fees change.

Will be there a maximum amount of subscriptions? If you happen to concentrate enough people to trade using the same algorithm, wouldn't it affect other's results?

Haven't read interesting things about ETZ, but ETH keeps growing based on the amount of ICO's using it too.

Centralized holders such as exchanges (mtgox) definitely have the ability to manipulate the market, the government observation is actually good... What could happen if just a few mobilize millions at their own will in the shadowy cryptocurrency world? Most likely bans and regulations so indeed, centralization is what kills all the prospect BTC has

No that i'm aware of, there are payment processors such as bitpay that allow bank accounts to be filled with bitcoin and make payments, but there are no institutions that accept bitcoin as of now
