I was referring to the naming of some parts of minergate

@zvisha, or @Guy : always wondered why the name squid was chosen

Hi,
It is possible to connect a spondoolies tech SP20 blade on Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black?
Not without considerable development effort. We give the FPGA - ASIC protocol doc only under NDA. TechnoBit implemented their own firmware without FPGA. I don't think it's open source. I'm working on a driver module for bfgminer that would in theory be able to handle the communications. But not worked out power mgmt yet. I've gotta ask where did zvi come up with the name squid?

I have a couple of Bitfury sticks. I'll dig em up tomorrow and post update. Located us zip 45066 btw

Looks nice. How many miners do you monitor with this ?
Well this is embarrassing. Sorry for the long reply. I monitor about 25 instances of bfgminer and cgminer

Can't wait my 20s are scheduled to arrive today
how long did it take then? We're shipping within 24 hours of receiving payment. It usually takes 2-4 days. Israel to USA 45066 in 4ish business days. Fell on a weekend so it felt stupid long

is it just me or does that look like a white rendering of a BFL Minirig?

Looks like a nice piece of gear.
I have the one before the B got it from crazy guy to run Minera.
The biggest plus from my perspective is that the usb and ethernet data now have separate data channels as it appears with the adoption of the cortex-a7 it added a enet controller (this should lead to better usb throughout and better stability for hardware connections And from my understanding the gpio header is the same pinout as b+ etc so I'll be grabbing two( one to play around with, the other to upgrade my bitfury 450G rig

Yeah, but... Windows 8.
Yeah does that matter for full nodes or staking wallets (altcoins i know), also windows gives it great compatibility with CGminer, there are other linux ones that are cheaper but usually arm based. If it's an x86 based system there should be no issue loading an x86 linux distro

Guy,
No someone is just having a bad day
On a side note I'm getting ready to buy a 3some of sp20 and would like to buy a few looseRockerbox for my personal project to ship at the same time if possible.
Would I just contact sales@ ?
Let me know
-Sam

...
500 GH, 260 Watts, 48 C temp:
With the serial commands FDX and V3X. Increasing the voltage seems to increase hashrate too so they're linked with some kind of BFL black magic.
Or a voltage controlled oscillator versus a pll Akin to the Bitfury chips of yore where upping voltage upped hash at the same number of bits

I personally like cryptoglance

@Luke-jr: how much work would be needed to modify the lowl-ftdi code to support the ft2232h as well?
I ask before I go usb to SPI&I2C interface shopping
Not sure, but I think the ft2232h is just a dual-channel version of the ft232h, which lowl-ftdi already supports (to some extent) for the BFx2. Correct it's basically 2 ft232h smacked together on some Si. Oh have I got s fun project ahead. 😁 Time to get my dev board and start coding my baby

Hi, I have a A2 chip miner that run cgminer 3.9 on raspberryPI and the two blade are connected to PI through gpio port at raspberryPI. As you can see in the screen the two blade are identified by BA1 0 and BA1 1. Is possible to run two instances of cgminer each running only one blade? Like instance 1 running device BA1 0 and instance 2 running device BA1 1. Now the startup string was like this one. sudo ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://abcd-p x --A1Pll1 1300 --A1Pll2 1300 --diff 4096 --api-listen --api-network --cs 8 --stmcu 0 --hwreset --no-submit-stale --lowmem Thanks in advance W_M If I remember correctly the a2 chip is scrypt which the official cgminer no longer supports

Well it's not like they've been known for making great haste at anything :/

One thing I may have missed. Was the ASIC Maskset or rights to it put up during the auction or do they reside with Global foundries?
