3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Social Network]Provoco.me - revolutionary social network for challenges on: February 19, 2018, 05:57:10 PM
I see that white page  is available on your webpage, but when can we expect full whitepaper out, with all the details? Is it going to be out before presale starts,or  a bit later ?

What would be the point of holding the whitepaper back while you ask people to invest money into your project?  Undecided

I love the living document concept, it might set a new trend among ICOs. You can't do an ICO with 6 months old Whitepaper. Tech & laws are changing so fast, i assume it's a daily job to update it with what's inside of the minds of the project creators, especially when project is being developed at the same time as an ICO event.

Hi, I would like to know how are you going to deal with extreme challenges that can possibly harm a human being? Like jumping of the roof etc

I guess same as any social network - by screening challenges via some algorithm + anyone can report

But is alpha going to be available for all of us to test it,or it will be just for the internal testing?

Makes sense to do it first with smaller amount of people, and then when its polished a bit,you make it open for everyone.

I agree, there is no point to rush things. Social networks require social responsibility for developers to oversee any damaging scenarios.  Cool
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin / Blockchain network traffic blocking / ban / manipulation by ISP's on: December 17, 2017, 10:55:15 PM
That's the thing - german solution can classify bitcoin-related traffic. Classify = you can do what ever you want. Reduce speed, block, divert, etc. I don't understand how this is still not under concern of majority. People are investing a lot of money in to blockchain technology a lot for it's security, but if you can manipulate it by the click of the mouse, then blockchain tech is useless.

I had my own internet service company, like 17-een years ago (~2000), the internet speed was awfull, i paid something like 100 usd/month for "32kbps", which was very unstable and had more than 50 users hooked up. It was normal for a page to load in 3-5minutes, but if longer - people were getting angry Smiley What i had to do is set up traffiic speed limits for ftp. It all worked pretty good for some time, the DSL technology came, which was great, but then the fucking Torrent tech showed up. Damn it was a problem! So we resolved that too under linux servers (i am no admin, but i explain the problem and my admin solved it).

Sooooooooo.... to get to the point. I think Bitcoin and blockchain traffic is exposed to manipulations and blocking. The solutions are there already. I don't see enough discussions on this topic. I hope people realise how serious threat that is!

Some things to look up:

1) Ze Germans Detection of Bitcoin Transactions in Network Traffic: https://cybersecurity.rohde-schwarz.com/en/detection-bitcoin-transactions-network-traffic
2) Some concerned guy: https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/895917/Bitcoin-Traffic-Sniffer-and-Analyzer
3) Nice guy Ivan - he is saying it's almost impossible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6wwdVHUFn4

Any pro's here to comment on this? much appreciated!
