In other words 18% of the 100 calls worked out?

The orders were retried to be placed as long as an Eservice unavailable answer were received. In case you don't get an Eservice unavaialble, you get either an order ID, or a type of undefined answers (assuming that your order input is correct, if not you can get other tyes of error messages). In the undefined case you don't know what happened to your order and you need to check your open order and/or trade history lists. In the undefined case the next order was placed, unknown orders were checked in one go at the end.

Getting to numbers to which you refer. For the list of 100 orders to be placed, a total of 182 calls had to be made due to having to retry to place orders when receiving a total of 82 Eservice failures.

This leaves 100 calls (please note the difference between calls and orders, even though their numbers are equal) which did not receive an Eservice failure. From these calls, 51 received an answer which included order ID and other info. This leaves 49 calls where the answers was undefined (as said some were later found in the order or trade list, but some were also not placed).

So in the end 51 of 182 calls yielded an order ID = 28% of calls giving a correct answer.

Counting only Eservice failures as errors the error percentage is 82/182 = 45%
Also counting calls of the undefined answer type as error increases the error percentage to 71.9%

I hope this answers your question

For me, the Eservice and undefined answers are counting as errors on Krakens side. The experience Trading on this site in combination with your number are saying to me:

IF i dont get a eservice error or a undefined answer, 28% of my trades are getting a order ID. That means not, that that your order get trough. Kraken can still cancel your order for some undefined reason, and your ending up with no Order or you switch it, because you execute a other order. Margin trading is the hell in such circumstances.

Im in bitcoin trading/mining since 2013, seem a lot of site come and go. I traded on Mt. Gox (RIP), btc-e(RIP), cryptsy(RIP), cex, vircurex, bitfinex, bitstamp and some really shady sites that i didn't even remember. But this Ladies and gentleman's is the worst experience you will make if you want to day/margintrade. Maybe its ok for some normal buys, but after the advanced options like stops are gone its getting ridiculous.

Error-log update;

The situation has barely improved from yesterday. The last measurement shows a total of 82 Eservice unavailable failures on the last 100 orders which where tried to be placed. Aka a total of 182 calls to place 100 orders.

The numbers of calls which got a correct API reply which included order ID (and other relevant info) was 51. Meaning that 49 orders where unknown after 182 calls for 100 orders. Some of these were found in the open order list, others were still not placed.

In other words 18% of the 100 calls worked out?

By-bye Kraken!
With 50+ tryouts i success withdraw my money (ZEC and BCC). No more pain.

Lucky you. Since hours i try to withrawal my BTC. No luck

If i wouldn't know better, i would call it scam.

Kraken, your site is a shame.

100s of orders cancelled since weeks. Your trading enginge is absolutely broken. And this after disabling advanced trandings. Loosed a lot of money with you, i quit with your site  Embarrassed

But since your site is so buggy i cant withdrawal my btc. Only error messages...

Can you fix almost the withrawal function. So at least people can go to another exchange after you screwed them enough. Thanks

Same for me. After login - 404 not found or some strange cloudflare errors...

Edit: works for the moment
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TECHNOBIT support tread + customer feedback on: June 12, 2014, 02:34:46 PM
Hi all

I have to give a very positive feedback @ Technobit/Marto

He helped me out of a messy situation. He made me save over 10K$, because i sent chips to him during the BTC crash and they gone near useless.

Marto offered us different, very fair offers to exchange the chips to other HW/refund.
That was all made by word no written contracts or similar. And he held his word like a boss!

I dont know what happened in the past, why some people are so angry. But i can assure, that if you contact Technobit/Marto now, he is very responsible and if something gone wrong, he is very fair.

The only connection between me and Marto was this deal, we didnt deal togheter before.
I dealt before with Asicminer, Avalon, Bitmine, Bitfury. And i must say, this was the best
experience i had!

https://www.asic-hardware.com/assembly-instructions-part-2/

You need 2 per board to get them to work.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITBURNER FURY Technical discussion on: June 08, 2014, 09:59:46 AM
Did you put in the jumper's?
Without jumper the can-bus wont work...

i added the hole chainstate folder to exceptions. Since then the AV are happy.

Some of the "Viruses" seems over 20 years old Smiley

Avira free AV

Good idea, i will report it tomorrow.

I added the chainstate folder to scan exceptions, but thats not the solution for everyone...

Hi Folks

I think its a false positive, but to be sure...

Since yesterday 01.20 GMT+1 my AV goes crazy. Multiple times per minute it reports viruses on my sst files from QT client.
I deletet all the files manually, and now its downloading the blockchain files again.

Paranoia? Or some Dropper/Downloader are downloading viruses on these files, and maybe another programm is trying to execute it?

After Bolckchain reset seems ok, but still downloading...

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: April 03, 2014, 03:36:49 PM
I hope no one sold. I still provide hodl escrow if needed.

Yeah, hodl like retards.

Sold @ 895 Euros...
Bought allready back my BTC amount (+50%) and have some fiat profits ready to buy more cheap coins.

HODLING is for weak hands. We are in a downtrend, you should have sold at the first top or at the deadcat bounce.. you all had enough time to profit bigtime. But buying @ top, hodling a few months and then panic sell is better?  Grin

Im earning evereday coins with mining. Im if you look @ the hashrate from the network and increases, you will see im not the only one.
And what for a other option we have, as hodl? Like the op im a bad daytrader.

So miners are all retarded? I dont think so

17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BioStar teases BTC-24GH Bitcoin hashing board on: March 23, 2014, 12:14:51 PM
THIS ->

"The board itself will consume about 130 W under full load, which is notably less than what 30 HD 7970s will consume... ...This might just make bitcoin mining brutally profitable again..."

6W/GH are brutally profitable
