Not sure this is the correct way to ask, but any chance of getting support for Innosilicon devices with BFGMiner ?! (A4 preferred ) Kind regards... As I understand it, the current scrypt maintainer has his own mining hardware, so probably isn't interested in supporting competitors. So you'd need to find someone willing to write and maintain a new driver for it, and probably Innosilicon would need to provide at least specs of some sort (and ideally sample hardware). nwoolls (who used to maintain BFGMiner's scrypt drivers) has been MIA for a year or so, but maybe if you PM him on the forum, he might get an email and be interested? That is a bummer to hear.. Does it help if you have the open source of the innosillicon's version of cgminer with the driver ?! ( https://github.com/Binary4/cgminer-3.9.0-a4-12-dg) Thanx.

Does someone know how to use the --CS switch of cgminer ?!
i can only use --CS 8 (for all blades) or only 1 blade (--CS 1, or --CS 2, ect ect)
i'de like to use 2 blade, and the other 2 blades on a different cgminer instance. so u think --CS 1,2 would work... but i doesn't.
any help appreciated !

Well got an email from Bitmart today regarding my moonlander-2 order. after 2 months waiting, they tell me to send an extra $60 for shipping. wtf. are those guy's a scam or what ? didn't you checked your resellers, or what ? Sounds like you don't live in South Africa? He's my south african distributor and has been vetted. Don't expect shipping to be cheap if you don't live there. That i do not live in SA should not be a problem. I payed for the Moonlander2+tax+shipping! now after almost 2 months they start nagging that they want more money .. it's there problem, not mine... a deal is a deal. you should remove them as reseller. they are a con!!

do you think your A2-firmware would run on an A4 ?! I'll give it a try, if i can find your cgminer version. (no need for a complete image)
it has 20 chips per blade (20*4=80 chips total)
Cheers..
It might..... I have not seen the software, but I assume they have used the same source. They used the source of the A1 for the A2 as well, and judging from the interface it looks pretty similar. But I don't know if the hardware side is the same and all the dependencies are the same. Would love to know if it did. Ahh, bugger... tried it but chips count is wrong and it starts nagging about everything.. found the cgminer 3.9 dirty source for the A4/A2.. so i'll go play around there.. (https://github.com/Binary4/cgminer-3.9.0-a4-12-dg)Did you use cgminer 4.1 for some parts ? (if so, which one). Cheers..

no, I will post drivers probably tomorrow. I just finished some updates to it and am compiling it for all systems/architectures. Keep an eye here ill post a new thread dedicated to just driver/instructions/support. @jstefanop: Do you by any chance, have the optimal frequency and Voltage settings (Vol & Pll) for the 2,5-4 MH range of the ML2 ?
|
|
|
Did anyone tinker with the settings yet ?!
I'm looking for a way to under/over clock these A4's (280mh version) to get a better w/mh at the moment i'm stuck at 3,2 w/mh at the lowest.. (700v - 800mhz)
also, innosilicon used a custom cgminer version for there dominators but did not released the sourcecode. (But hey, cgminer is released under gpl-v3 !!, gimme the source!)
what i'm looking for are the most optimal settings (A1pll and A1vol)
Cheers.

Awesome that the pics also confirm who the ASIC supplier is. I know a lot of people thought it was an Innosilicon chip.
Yes i was under the assumption that it would hold an A4 chip from innosillicon but so far as i can see, it is a BM (bitmain) or 1 from BW. kind of confusing right now.. Ah, it is powered by BW https://twitter.com/JStefanop1/status/904418639067131906

Hello met z'n allen.
Ik ben op zoek naar eer L3 of L3+.. evt een dominator a4+ is ook goed...
houd me aanbevolen, kan hem komen halen.
Cheers.

Do you have by any chance the config file of cgminer for your L3+ ?!
it is in /etc/config/cgminer i'm looking for the "option freq" part
Thx..

Does any one, by any chance have the 'option freq' range for the Antrouter R1-LTC ?! all i have in the cgminer.conf is: option freq '600:300:0b83'and ofcoz is different than the R1-BTC chips... it has a B1485 inside for LTC/Scrypt. would be nice to run this one a little bit faster aswell. edit:typo
