I believe this is a very good time to buy.  MNE is extremly cheap and half of the supply is gone. When the dev makes a somehow "big" announcement the price will pump. You could wait to buy your mne and maybe get it a little bit cheaper in some days. Although you have to buy it before the next announcement or you gonna end up paying a lot more than the current price. I think an update is right around the corner and I do not have the balls to wait so I'm gonna buy some today.
