Okay found out I was not using the right kind of miner...even though my cards are Cuda based, I used OpenCL and that did the trick.

I'm just getting this under Cuda tab:- 2013-06-10 21:33:00: Running command: E:\download\software\Bit Coin\guiminer\miners\puddinpop\rpcminer-cuda.exe -user=****.worker1 -password=**** -url=http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332 Nothing happens and the start button doesn't have time to change to stop, running nVidia International driver 296.10 if that makes any difference?
If I try and run the regular CPU miner I get this:-
2013-06-10 21:30:21: Running command: poclbm.exe ***** :****@http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332 --device=0 --platform=0 --verbose -r1 2013-06-10 21:30:21: Listener for "Default" started 2013-06-10 21:30:21: Listener for "Default": 10/06/2013 21:30:21, need more than 1 value to unpack 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": WARNING: ADL missing (no AMD platform?), temperature control is disabled 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": At least one server is required 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": Traceback (most recent call last): 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": File "Switch.pyo", line 45, in __init__ 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": File "Switch.pyo", line 60, in parse_server 2013-06-10 21:30:22: Listener for "Default": ValueError: need more than 1 value to unpack
I just installed the Cuda pack from nVidia, whatever good that did.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but Giki's advice got me a different response, so at least it appears to be trying to make contact now?

I have added GUIMiner to my firewall, the only thing I haven't done is the latest driver from nVidia, not sure why it's looking for a java app?

Hi from West Coast USA, new to bit coining and just started today, have no idea what I'm doing yet, not even sure if I trust an online wallet with what I have been reading lately.

Just started Bit Coining today with QT Bitcoin, same thing happened to me, I'm going to ignore it as the program is currently trying to sync.
