90% of icos are business plans that failed to raise investment outside of the crypto realm. They see people here as easy targets and they are right.
Most will come to nothing and do not even have experienced cryptographers as part of their team.
The older projects that have skilled conceptual designers/cryptographers and coders will be the sole survivors.
The projects that also have consistent income, not just from cryptocurrency will survive as well. Take Assetron Energy for example, they will have their own solar plant. Real - they will own property. |

What ICO is the one that you believe has the possibility to go 1000x like Stratis, Neblio, Eth and why?
I just can't seem to believe any of these new ICO's have that capability. Right after Stratis everyone started jumping on the ICO boat.
The best ICO that I invested in is ASSETRON ENERGY - Its currently in pre-sale. Its verified rated 4/5 by Ico Bench, already on the WAVES Exchange for BTC / USD and WAVES. They are developing a p2p investment platform for renewable energy assets - letting people invest with cryptocurrency and earn passive income! The reason I think the price will go up is because their whole platform can only be used with their ASSETRON Tokens, including investing and getting returns, paying fees, etc. So once they have a lot of projects on their platform for crowdfunding, to be invested into using only their Tokens, the demand will be high and tokens have to rise. The have a hard cap of like 15 million for 600mill tokens, if there is even 100 million usd worth of projects, which is preety small in the scheme of things, and only say 300 mill tokens are actually traded and not hodled by people, that means the token price for those 300mil has to be 100 mil, so 200 million for 600 million tokens. Sure its only 13x profit, but thats a short term gain, and pre-ico buyers will get even more profit. Plus think of the passive income you earn while you wait for your tokens to increase in value. Just my opinion. |

If you are looking at short term profit. Sorry, ICO is never meant to be flipping at the current stage
Perhaps months ago yes, ICO is on fire where people could flip easily, but its different now
Either wait for development, or dont participate
Yes don't just invest into ICO to make a quick profit, invest because you believe in the idea and that the company will make you a good profit, but in reasonable timeframe, once they achieved their goals and are operating successfully. |

Depends on the ICO ASSETRON ENERGY ( https://assetron.energy) for example are still in presale and are already listed on the WAVES Exchange, which you can buy using waves, btc, eth, usd. Companies like them that have a real world use for their tokens, coins, these won't be lower in price on the exchange, as people will need them to access the platform. Coins like powr, and others that just sell tokens to make money, but you can't use their tokens on the platform, will be useless , now one will want to buy them and price will drop. |

before joining ico, of course i always choose the best ico. because i do not want to bear losses in ico. investment has a big risk, so be careful to choose invest in ico.
And how do you choose "the best ICO"? What is "the best ICO" to you? I'm sure everyone here would like to know how to pick good ICOs, but most seem to be dumping right after the sale - even if the projects are generally promising. Well the way I see it, its not that easy to just 'dump' ico funds, sure you can sell them on an exchange, but I hardly see how you can just dump your ico tokens if there isn't anyone to dump onto, sure you can sell all to exchange, but if the project actually uses TOkens, they will be bought back just as fast For example a coin I invested in - ASSETRON ENERGY - sure after ICO is up, the token can be sold straight away on the WAVES DEX and what ever other exchanges they are working with, but they are using the tokens on their investment platform, and you can only purchase shares of projects using the TOkens. ASSETRON Will set a price of the project using Tokens, which already keeps the value of the tokens fixed, as a value of a real asset is backing the price of the coin. More projects go onto the platform, the higher the token price becomes, so even if every ico investor sells at the end of ico (doubt they will able to, no ico can sell straight away), there will be people who will use the platform and buy tokens regardless, which willl keep demand of the token. Icos which will fail are the ones who haev no real world use of their Token. Say another company in the renewable energy sector, who have a platform to sell electricity to people, their ICO was POWR Tokens, but if you look at their whitepaper, there is no use for them, they pay people in a second token SPARKZ, which can be bought directly, without getting POWR, so why would someone want POWR? This ICO will fail as investors won't be able to sell tokens as no one will buy them, so the company got rich and investors got nothing. |

Nowadays ICOs are unfortunately not setting the expectations right. They are claming their ICO will be the best one , most profitable one etc.. What i look for in an ICO is being realistic about the project and setting their project on strong pillars. I prefer doable projects ratherdan dream sellers.
Totally agree, some icos are promising life changing results but are giving extremely vague explanations on what it is they are actually doing. Like a project tokenloyalty - i have asked them multiple times, what are you doing exactly? In response I get a video of a dog and random statements. project like ASSETRON ENERGY - staright away i understood in simple terms that they will build a platform where people can invest into renewable energy projects using crypto, and vice versa, people can request to have their renewable projects invested into, so a peer to peer marketplace for renewable energy projects. As their tokens are the only ones that can be used on the system, the demand will grow as more projects are on the platform. I dont need complex english on these ICOS, just to make them look "pro", they need to be able to explain to all investors, especially ones who may be foreign. Just my 2 cents |

Initial Coin Offering is useless now a day. They meant to dump after it was release. Very useless buying at ICO stage.
How is a company supposed to reach their goals without funding and crowd support - the whole point of an ICO is to fund a great new idea and in return this idea will give the investors $$$ |

Considering many Icos and Companies will be running on Waves Platform, Waves is only going to get bigger. |
