By the way, I hate the way Microsoft updates production machines while they are working. Next, I hate that afterburner doesn't necessarily restart the fan settings. Sigh...
That's why you don't use Windows on mining rigs. I have 8 GPUs on my Windows 10 rig, I just turn off the miner for the primary 1080ti, and turn on whatever game I want. Right now its Destiny 2. Thing is rock solid cause I do minimal overclocking, and have plenty of PSU power spare for loading up the CPU if needed. People crack up when they see me jumping between gaming and mining like its nothing. I do need to disable all of the automatic updates. Damn fall creative update cost me 30$ in lost mining, plus hours of my time fixing drivers and settings. I tried the whole linux thing, and I couldnt get it to boot

I'll try with ccminer (downloaded by your tool) although theretically (palgin/truvot) it has lower hashrate or maybe excavator gives fake-hashrate. Maybe it's the reason. It's worth checking. If I can say somethng that instant changing miners until we don't remove files on folder "Miners" is really strange. By the way I've prepared a little dark theme for Stylish/Stylus for pool for those who likes dark themes for everything. I know about addons that do this things but they do this in a ugly way. https://userstyles.org/styles/152737/dark-mining-pool-hubI just installed this, I do like having the page darker, less eye strain when I check my balances before going to bed. The Dashboard page has grey text though for the hashrates, can we lighten that up a little?

is there a option to lock the ZCOIN vardiff? we need fixed vardiff of 8, 64, 512 for proxy miner @miningpoolhub
Something needs to change i really like the pool but i'm gonna have to go back to mining zen on suprnova or vert because i send shares way too slow. . . Dashboard is constantly reporting way lower hashrate than local and i'm sure that's why. Also only getting about 3/4 of expected returns. You can now set static diff. Input "sd=8" or "sd=16". Maybe 5 if your hashrate is small. This option is not enabled for all zcoin servers yet. I'll restart and enable it one by one. So you should see it operating about few hours later. Hello! Which sd parameter should I use for a 4000 kh / s rig? sd=8 it's ok? or sd=16? But not to lose profits. I also lose about 15% hashrate !!! In fact, there are many rigs, the total amount is 72000 kh / s and 58000 kh / s is displayed on the pool. ZCOIN. I specified sd=5, sd=8 but I still lose about 15% of hashes and profits. Administration, help! The issue isnt the difficulty, but probably the version of ccminer. I must have downloaded 10 different ones, and I dont know which one I have that works, but its the only one that works right. Some send invalid shares, some dont use the right cuda version, and some report a much lower rate on MPH than on my computer.

A question about confirmed/unconfirmed shares:
1) I have 3.01 unconfirmed shares, currently mining Zcoin. Does not matter how long I mine, a week or two, these 3 unconfirmed shares stays unconfirmed (actually they grew from 2.65 to 3.01 even in one week period). That means later, IF I stop mining current coin which I am mining, then these 3 unconfirmed shares will stay unconfirmed as I have to mine to get them confirmed. That means I loose money.
I find it really weird. Can anyone explain me how to make unconfirmed shares zero (all confirmed, balance zero??):
Thanks
Yea I have a similar issue! 3.01 that's what 45$, wow floating around? I have around 1 Zcoin unconfirmed floating around. you can see it in my post up above your comment, but it jumps up and down. I think it is normal, and I do "think" it will confirm later on even if you stop mining. "XZC Account Balance Confirmed 0.00000000 Unconfirmed 0.00000000 Confirmed for Auto Exchange 0.04018455 Unconfirmed for Auto Exchange 1.00235235 <--This Keeps going up please help Anyone who reply/answers this post, Thank-you in advance!!!!" Thank-you MiningPoolHub for your service, and answering these many questions! i think you just need to click the left arrow at the bottom of this page: https://zcoin.miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=account&action=poolediti clicked the right arrow and started getting any new payment marked for AE (auto exchange), i clicked left and any new payment was set back to normal. but i think it also sends any current confirmed AE balance back too. So after the rest of the unconfirmed get confirmed, click left arrow again to send those back too. I hope this is right, and i hope it helps.

Anyone think the hashrate/difficult of zcoin is a little low?
For the past few days my daily credits were about .8 to .9 zcoin, but the past 24 hours its only .67 Yet across the whole time the difficulty is right around 10,000. And the network hashrate has been anywhere from 60 to 90 GHs. (right now its 57, which sounds way low for a price of $17 per xzc)
Shouldn't the difficulty be much higher if the actual payout is that low? I put in my hashrate into whattomine, and even they think i should be about .85 coins a day. Is zcoin just not that good at providing a proper difficulty value that represents the current network hashrate? My guess is that blocks are being solved way faster than needed to meet their goal of 1 block every 10 minutes.
Or am I just an amateur who has no idea about how this stuff works (im ok with it if thats the truth, lol)

I may have been reading the Block Shares graph on the Blocks page incorrectly.
So if the Actual (orange line) and Average (green line) are below the Expected (blue line), does it mean: 1. it took us less time (less shares) to find blocks OR 2. we found less blocks
In the last hour we had a 108% luck (unlucky), yet if the first case above was true, it would mean we have found blocks quicker than expected, right? However, the Block Overview below shows the opposite and makes me think the second case is true.
Can anyone confirm or even elaborate further?
Each point on the chart is a block, you will notice it skips numbers, so it does not show us blocks solved by other pools, otherwise it would have gaps in the chart. If the Green is under the Blue, we are getting lucky, finding more blocks than typical. You have some points accurate and some backwards. over 100% is unlucky, meaning we needed more shares(orange) to solve a block than was expected by the difficulty(blue). All this does is compare shares we used, against shares it thought we would need. If we had 3 blocks that were fast, but 1 very slow block, that could result in us being unlucky for the hour, while the green line would dip under the blue for a little, but then come right back up.

Is there a way to see shares submitted for past blocks? The api seems to show only basic stuff like the dashboard screen.
Second question, Anyone mining zcoin with amd 570/580 cards? I'd like to know the hashrate and power consumption numbers if possible, or if someone could run a quick benchmark please!!! (I can just order one from amazon prime and return it for free if needed)
You are better off getting NVIDIA cards if you plan on mining equihash. EDIT: Regardless of miner used, the hashrate is not that great on AMD. Mining ethash is always more profitable especially in dual. I bought the asrock 13 slot motherboard, and it can only support 8 nvidia cards (thanks windows). i own 13 nvidia cards and might be returning 5 of them. my options are to use a few amd cards, or work on getting linux going (which so far has crashed, im very new to linux) Im curious just how bad it would be, if we are talking 10% less profitable, then its fine by me cause i dont care about mining eth. also the power draw of zcoin mining is awesome, which helps alot as you dont have to spend more on power supplies or electricity, which for me is $.137 per KWH. and the temps of these cards is awesome low, the room is silent and they dont break 70c overclocked. so if anyone could quickly just give me a hashrate and power consumption for sgminer on xzc, that would be super awesome of them. thanks! -Dan
