I mine zec with mine, I just used the wtm calc to give the poster the roi wtm says btg gold no1 but if they forked already that makes sense

So I have mined 1 ZEC at almost exactly a week of mining.  Based on prices I can say that 11 ZEC would definitely put me over 100% ROI so 10 more weeks.  I know it won't actually be 10 weeks, it'll certainly be longer, but that looks pretty good right now.  Reminds me of the old days of the early antminers when you could actually make a profit in the long run and ROI was under 6 months.

10 weeks? in three weeks the z9 will make $5 a day
theres tons of batches coming in a week or so, not even factoring in the innosilicon 50sol box
maybe u break even in six months if prices rises

lol 5$ a day in three weeks. can i get some of those shrooms ?

making 35$ a day on btg atm

On a sidenote, since we're talking about power, my provider here in London (British Gas) was going to increase prices to over £0.16/KWh (that's US$ 0.22!)... so I'm in the process of switching. That'll bring me back down to £0.11 ($0.15). Every little helps!

That's interesting, I've been on £0.1282 with BG, they now want £0.16 as they did from you. Best I've been quoted is £0.1321 ($.18) from Scottish Power ... out of interest, who are you switching to?

Hello all.

Just wanted to report my initial findings with the Z9 I received today.
The default hash board clock is 500MHz. Every 10% increase in clock resulted in a 10% increase in average hashrate and a 10% increase in DC power consumption on the hashboards. Each one is around 6A at 500MHz and 9A at 750MHz. The controller runs around 0.5A but varies a bit.

I noticed other Z9s on luckpool. Some are hashing a fair bit faster than mine. I wonder if they have exceeded the clocks in the drop down box to achieve it.
This one gets over 17k consistently

16.8 here

as reported by the pool or the antminer status page? I'm sitting at 15.3 @750MHz as reported by antminer

By the z9 but now its dropped to 16.27 avergae

Get used to it, at least as long as we have this administration. This is what a trade war looks like.

To those that have started to mine.

How much watts is it pulling? Any chance we could just run the APW3++ run on US 110 V?
APW3++ only 1200 watts on 110v. Even if bitmain overstated the draw, which they usually do....you would be cutting it awfully close.

Can someone post the power consumption details about A3 please? Really curious about a possibility to run Antminer A3 on 110V using APW3++....

Tested with 240V. Power is 1450W on wall

 On stock clock
Holeeee shit. Seems like they overclocked the shit out of these things. Just like the D3. What Frequency do they run at to get the 815mh??

Vid please!

Forking the Network
The Sia community is currently debating a soft-fork that would exclude all Bitmain A3 units from the Sia network, while leaving Obelisk SC1 units fully operational. We encourage you to contribute to this discussion, and ask that you disclose your status as an Obelisk customer when commenting. Discussion is taking place on Sia's Discord and Subreddit.

Now this is what I would call fucked up Cheesy

They are to slow with their production and because of that they want to fuck over users and customers of SC because they bought a miner from someone else haha

You cant make that shit up
I hope this soft fork doesn't happen. At the beginning, the team said it was a weapon to use just in case the network was attacked. Now things are changing. I saw too many "for the good of the community" arguments that smell bad too. Soft fork has more consequences that what you see at face value, and all sorts of interests are in play...
I bought 2 Obelisks by the way (1 DCR1 batch 1 and 1 SC1 batch 2). So far 0 A3s.

A decentrlised coin! that only supports our own asics....

Is there an antpool for the a3?

Came to know what is possible about this coin, I've been told a lot about it, I'm seeing your information right now, 21 billion coins, too much. Can miners make profit from mining now ?

21,000,000 Bitcoin at $12000
Is like
21,000,000,000 BitcoinZ at $12

So to me the value of this coin is at least $12 if you think of it as the same value as Bitcoin.

It costs $17 to transfer $50 of BTC to someone!
It costs $0.001 to transfer $50 BTCZ to someone!

BTC is centralized and controlled by Bitmain and a bunch of cult like followers who can't even implement Lightning.

BTC , with lightning, will lose its most important features, block chain won't show transactions within super nodes, super nodes will centralize it even more, and super nodes will have private keys potentially  exposed to public. Ligtning network is basically like transactions you make inside am exchange , they won't show up on public block chain which is the best part of BTC mow going down the drain . there is no other solution .

BTCZ has huge potential..

Just have to keep it quiet and keep mining and keep accumulating for the huge payday.

Just remember

BTCZ = 0.00100000 BTC in value

But currently trading at only 0.00000100 BTC

That means it has 1000x potential to grow to match BTC market cap.

Huge potential. Just need to keep the developers focused and keep this thread quiet for a year or two.

2020 is the year for BTCZ

Indeed

Hi, after a couple of issues with api keys I finally managed to log in and see a positive balance. However, when placing trades it crashes. This includes a margin trade or a manual one. This issue exact is also reflected on a separate laptop leading me to think its an issue your end.
