Hello,
my original account: Vagnavs was hacked 12/4/2017. I have sent both theymos and Cyrus a PM shortly afterward with my BTC address and signed signature. I have not heard from either and am still hoping to recover my account. I have waited pretty patiently and have posted a message or 2 over the past year and a half.
Any help would be great!

Are you looking for something in particular? thanks, was wondering if listed BTC address was listed. I created it a few years ago and must've forgot to put in the BTC address. So that one is gone for good. Hopefully I can get my main account back someday. Best regards |

If you're basing it on the gap, he/she has other gaps as well (I don't think it's good enough, although " there was a password change right after the signed message"): November 03, 2017

August 24, 2014 - I noticed the user in question, has short intervals in-between each post (made from the same day, for the most part) and I can see the exact same behavior for half of the posts, made prior to the gap (the one you cited). - Having said that: He/she used to quote the text he's/she's replying too (earlier posts) but that's no longer the case.

Theymos said he's working on an automatic recovery tool that should be ready before the end of the year so you'll likely have to wait for that unless he gives the ability to some other staff member(s) to do so in the meantime. Are you new here? For a start, addresses in profiles aren't accepted, but accounts just aren't getting recovered regardless if you have all the correct data or not so the info you provided is useless. I seriously wish I could demerit posts sometimes. Speaking of being new and hacked accounts, why is there a huge gap in your posts from January 09, 2015 to June 16, 2018. Can you sign a message to prove ownership? no, I'm not new here in regards to your mentioning (did have legendary status) I'm not sure what you're referring to as I did post. I did post shortly after January 09, 2015.. Yes I can sign a message and verify it proving I'm the owner of the account.. I have sent the details to those listed for recovery. I will try to get to that shortly |

thanks for the reply, but I have followed the instructions and sent the details to the admins. Step-by-step and in the format they wanted.
this seems to be coming more of the norm. Many people have had their accounts hacked and are locked out now. I should have contacted the hacker and see how much he wanted..

Hello, in October, it will be approximately 1 year since my account was hacked. I was legendary status.. A member since 2012 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=48852I used to stop by and to try the help community from scams and other answers. But I have abandoned the site as basically, my identity is gone.. I have submitted the requested information to both Cyrus & theymos. But have not heard a thing. Maybe someday I will get the account back but the odds appear to be slim to none. With that said, any help would be greatly appreciated! Brian |

Yes I did (Just checked it again to make sure). I think we need some more mods on the forum. I wouldn't mind helping out some and I have a pretty good track record for being a good community member. Thanks for the feedback guys, hopefully someday my account will be back. |

I really like this coin. I have seen some new projects on the horizon (In private). Very optimistic. I know it has risen quite a bit. But I think this can go a lot higher. I'm in the same boat. I have sent both of the people a message. I followed the instructions and started this process around November 1. I would really like to get my account back as I could use it to assist with a project (A job). I'd even pay to recover my account. Vagnavs.

Hello, My bitcoin talk profile was hacked and the email was changed. I received an email about it and locked the account. I have been a member of the forums for close to 6 years. I think, I've been been a productive member of this community and hope I can get my account restored.
