i heard semux is really promising..hope its not too late to get some free coins.. need to set things up though..wallet etc

not much experience but altcoins may need a couple of years to "mature", and i would go 50% keep, and 50% to BTC (when there is a price jump). sometimes even 100%to BTC if u feel theres no future in an alt.

i would keep most of my money in btc.. i think its a better investment

Is it more cost effective to buy a dedicated miner rather than setting up ur own desktop?

i tried it but destroyed my battery due to heat.. looking into setting up a desktop with proper fanning (must be silent though)

Im interested in mining too.. i guess ill have to look into the forum on topics related to hardware etc..but i think it should be profitable with new coins coming out all the time and their value increasing in the future.
