Yeah. I did update a while ago and it was working just fine.
Untill yesterday. Unfortunately things do break...
Maybe i best start looking for a Pi Zero.

Guys,
Overnight the blue leds started blinking. Usually no problem because after a restart/reboot all works fine again.
But this time they keep blinking even after several reboots. And the device is not reachable through the webinterface.
Someone, any suggestions what to do?
Could the sd card all of a sudden be corrupted?
Hi Overlast , SD is the original one ? when you shut it off wait at list 1 minute to test. Do you have an other x10 ? if yes - try to invert the orange pi , let sd cards in place dont invert it.
- see if the problem is now on the other miner
- then just invert the SD card and check
If you have only one x10 , i suggest to rewrite the software on sd card. check instruction hereif problem persist contact Baikal , you ll have probably orange pi in trouble I have only one and already tried re writing on different sd cards. No luck. Yellow and blue leds keep flashing simultaneously and red led burning steady. Checked network and cables; all ok. Both leds on PI Zero (next to ethernet cable) both on. I just contacted Baikal. Hopefully they can help. |

Since it is sunday, i expected my payout of 0.003 today. But that has not happened yet.

Finally! got help from someone.
The solution is:
Remove all the cookies from the browser (Chrome/safari/Firefox) you use for the Baikal webinterface.
Restart you browser.
Then you will be able to see the new algo's in the dropdown menu!

Is there a solution yet for people who just get the 5 old algo's? Flashed twice already..
Hey, I'm in the same boat. I only see the original 5 algos. When I plugged in my card to be flashed I see two drives. BOOT D:\ and E:\. The first time I tried to flash to the BOOT D:\ drive which appeared to work initally but when I put the flash drive back I only saw the 5. I tried to reflash again this time directing to the E:\ drive but that gives access denied. Can anyone confirm if we are flashing a card with existing firmware which drive should we flash? Also, should the card be formatted and set up as one drive prior to flashing? I have no luck either. But yeah, you should flash as one drive. Scroll up a few items and you can see how to format as one... And if you find a solution: Please post ! |

been trying to update for about 5 hours now with no luck, downloaded the google link for 1.2 software, formatted sd card and then write the image to sd put it all back together boot up the miner and all i don't see any extra algos in the list to choose from .. very frustrating I have tried 4 times I know there must be a way but i cant think of what else to try  if anyone can tell me how you got yours to successfully update I would love the help same here! I see the new pools but cannot see the new algo's in the dropdown menu |

found an even easier solution:
Put it in an android phone, go to settings, storage, sd card, format.
And it will be like new
|

First time i did not see the new algo's so i tried to flash it again.
How to reflash?
But after first flash Sd card is now divided in 2 parts: BOOT (E:) and (G:) and i cannot format them and make 1 device again.

one of my X10 boards is only showing 50 chips now
I rebooted it serveral times and also cycled the power , any other tips/tricks ?
try different SD an reflesh it. any guides on how to do that? Dont want to brick my x10 , so buy an sd from the local computer store? where is a link to the firmware |

Asked Baikal when/if the new algo's will come or if it is a marketing trick. Even got 2 emails back: "Hi The new algorithm is still in debugging stage." and "Hi, Our engineers are adjusting the new algorithm. Please be patient best regards baikal " So, the waiting continues...... |
