1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: November 21, 2017, 04:11:51 AM
$1 sounds like to small amount to start with, but maybe you should dig around in bounty programs.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: November 20, 2017, 06:31:44 PM
That may happen if there is no interest from users and I think interest will only grow in the nearest future.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profitable trading exchange or mining and why?? on: November 20, 2017, 12:21:40 PM
At a first glance, it seems pretty simple - when you have enough skills and are ready to take risks, trading is more profitable because of the fast results. If you are ready to wait for a longer turnaround, you can try mining. And yes, like it was mentioned, both options require big investments from the start.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being taxed? on: November 20, 2017, 12:04:35 PM
Having cryptocurrency transactions taxed is a good source for a refill of governmental treasury but who knows how this money is going to be allocated further.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Master Degree Important? on: November 20, 2017, 11:48:27 AM
Sure thing! Proper education gives you more opportunities but we know a lot of examples of extraordinary individuals that prove one can become successful without education.
However, without a master's degree you should be a broad minded person with a strive to become more knowledgeable.

i think it depends on your future aspirations. if you want to work in startups, founder, or tech related field, hands on experience and understanding of solving customer problems is more important than masters. i guess if you are interested in building something, masters or even a degree is not necessary. but if you want to work in established industries such as Finance, manufacturing, CFO etc then it is necessary.

Agreed. It depends a lot on what you are going to be and the field you want to pursue.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: November 20, 2017, 10:41:04 AM
We wish we could go back in time and buy several bitcoins to sell now. I guess it's never too late to invest. On the one hand it seems that the price in dollars per one bitcoin is too high but on the other it can grow further. When the cost was around $4k, everybody expected it will start to fall soon but that didn't happen.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good project? on: November 20, 2017, 10:34:02 AM
The best piece of advice is to find out more about the team and whether they had any other successful projects in the past. This info should add some more confidence to your decision to invest. I'd never invest in a project which looks great but has suspicious team members involved. Even if ico listings and reviews claim this project is the best.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: China and Korea: A chance for US to rise? on: November 20, 2017, 09:46:06 AM
It is not necessary to say that the US will be the dominating country. The more enthusiasts of bitcoin and interesting projects a country has, the more influence it will have.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin legal worldwide? on: November 20, 2017, 09:36:36 AM
Some of the economies are so large that it is hard to track all the changes and new technologies appearing. The more progressive learn how they can use and integrate new technologies and some of those a little behind are trying to implement rigid regulations which do not help. As a result, people are trying to figure out different ways of work around it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one? on: November 20, 2017, 09:12:26 AM
If I were you, I'd invest in Bitcoins or Eth.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: November 19, 2017, 09:23:28 PM
Bitcoins is a good investment because cryptocurrency is the future. More and more people use crypto and while some are only thinking to buy some bitcoins, others already made a fortune from them.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 17, 2017, 05:34:12 PM
Those who compare bitcoins to gambling are just not acquainted with the subject matter. Without prior knowledge, they say it's a pyramid scheme similar to Ponzi, gambling or a scam.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: November 17, 2017, 05:16:50 PM
It will not take more than 5 years for the huge players like Amazon, eBay etc to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment option on their platforms.

Agree. More and more online stores offer bitcoins as an alternative currency. However, from my point of view, it is harder to regulate the purchases and sales since bitcoins cannot be refunded to a customer the way fiat money can be.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 17, 2017, 03:28:44 PM
To be brief, cryptocurrency is the future and bitcoin is the most common type of cryptocurrency.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: November 07, 2017, 07:35:15 PM
It is a really interesting question.
I guess the main problem is that it is not so wide-spread compared to the dollar and a long time ago people worried about changing their gold to dollars.
So only the future will show how widespread bitcoin will be.
Another big concern here is the great exchange fluctuations.
