1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining-Monitor.org][EWBF][DSTM][BMiner][CCMiner] Web-based rig monitoring on: May 07, 2018, 04:04:43 PM
UPDATE LOG

07.05.18

New Features
The "coin drawer" is now configurable in your account settings.
By default the top 100 cryptocurrencies are displayed.
You can now set 10 specific coins you want to keep track of.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining-Monitor.org][EWBF][DSTM] Web-based miner monitoring Hashes,Power,Temp. on: March 25, 2018, 06:36:20 PM
Registering as we speak -- Question, I mange several farms for people and my own. Is there a way to have "linked" accounts for businesses, I would be willing to pay a fee of course.

It would be great to see Farm X,Y,Z on one webpage and be able to see if I need to give a particular rig some attention.

So if I'm understanding right, your want to create multiple accounts (one for every farm) and add rigs to those accounts.
Then you want one account to get all data from those accounts as an overview?

Like:

ACC1
# Performance data etc.
# Rig failures

ACC2
# Performance data etc.
# Rig failures

Are all rigs in one farm running the same miner?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining-Monitor.org][EWBF][DSTM] Web-based miner monitoring Hashes,Power,Temp. on: March 24, 2018, 03:02:18 PM
I'm currently working on some code and database improvements, so BMiner will be delayed until the end of next week.
The goal of these improvements is to make it easier to implement new miner APIs to the service.
Stay tuned Smiley

What you've done seems very good! Are you planning on implementing monitoring for ccminer? What about pools based on Yii framework (ahashpool, zpool, etc.)?

First of all, thank you for your feedback Smiley
I'm currently working on the implementation of BMiner and have already made some progress there. BMiner should be available for monitoring in the next couple of days.
ccminer is also on my list and I will go for all of its forks after BMiner is ready to use.

Yii API seems interesting, I will take a look on it too. Thanks for the recommendation.
Updates will be posted on this thread.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs (5.5.0) on: March 20, 2018, 01:44:46 PM
Hi Bminer team,
is it possible for you to include some more information in the API response? Maybe in the next update?
I think it would be nice to get the GPU name, the pool and the user in the response.

Let me know what you think about it.

We would love to help:
Just understand your requests, you want to include the following two information in REST API response:

1.Device name: Something like "GTX 1080 Ti"?
2.Pool/User: We can put the whole uri path in REST API. This should contain all information include pool address and the user name. Is it enough?

1. Yes, something like "GeForce GTX 1080 Ti"
2. The whole uri path would be sufficient, but it would be easier to handle if you parse the user part and the pool part, like:
User : "t1ZBtpkUy1y1deYsNJnzdW4tk7HiJEcfUzr.worker"
Pool : "zec.coinfoundry.org:3036"

Thanks for your efforts
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [Mining-Monitor.org][EWBF][DSTM][BMiner][CCMiner] Web-based rig monitoring on: March 16, 2018, 10:04:59 PM

Mining-Monitor.org is a central, web based monitoring platform to keep track of everything about your mining rig(s) and pool(s).

This project is still in development and is improved weekly.
Feel free to leave feedback, bug reports and any other thoughts on this service.

To use this web application you need to enable the API of your miners and configure a port forward to make the API accessible from the WWW (Read Only Mode)
Since the API will only be running in Read Only Mode, there should be no concerns about security.
You can find detailed information on how to do this on the ‘Getting started’ tab on the website.

Check out Elephone, they replicate all the major smartphone brands.
I'm using a Elephone P9000 (one+ 3 clone) for 8 months now and I'm very happy with it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any altcoins you can mine with a mobile? on: March 16, 2018, 06:18:27 PM
electroneum promised this but it's not available yet. The app has a placeholder for it.

But you can still "mine" electroneum with it.
They also stated that any real mining would destroy your phone in a very shot time period due to overheating the components.
Mobiles are just not designed to be on full load over a longer time.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Classic mining help on: March 16, 2018, 08:31:23 AM
With reported hashrate you mean the hashrate shown by the pool you are mining on?
Pools only estimate your hashrate based on the shares you have submitted.
So the hashrate of your rig will always differ from the one shown by the pool.

Maybe the following will do the trick:

Right click on the desktop, click 'Screen Resolution'
Click 'Detect' button on the next screen (when click on Detect, a new second monitor was shown on the right of the main display)
Click 'Another display not detected' and under the multiple displays option select 'Try to connect anyway on: VGA'
    Click 'Apply'

Maybe we will see a price drop when another competitor enters the market.
ASRock always got a good price/performance ratio.

Never mind, I just found it on the website.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mixing RX cards on: March 13, 2018, 06:29:10 PM
As long as all GPUs are from the RX400/500 series, it is possible.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU+GPU mining together on: March 13, 2018, 12:42:05 PM
Expecting the i3 7100 to get 50-55H/s it would be 0.07$ in 24 hours. (power costs not included)

OK, but if we take electricity off and consider it also a work and also the CPU will die earlier and whole system will be slower then I am not sure where is the profit and why people do it?

Yes I was just saying that it is possible. Not that it would make any sense with a CPU like that.  Smiley
On the other hand, If you got a rig with, for example, a threadripper 1950X CPU besides your GPUs it maybe would be more profitable.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU+GPU mining together on: March 13, 2018, 11:37:27 AM
You could use xmrig to mine cryptonight coins, but I don't think you will get great profits Wink
https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig

I recommend configuring xmrig to only utilize 50-60% of your CPU to not cause stability issues for your main GPU mining software and OS.
When I began mining, I had the CPUs of my rigs running on Monero but the profit was not worth mentioning and it caused stability issues especially when remotely administrating the rigs.

How much will you be making then for example with i3?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig resets after 10 minutes on: March 13, 2018, 11:22:31 AM
Are you powering more than two risers from one lane of your PSU?
You should not connect more than two risers to one lane.

SATA: Limited to one per rail.
MOLEX: Limited to two per rail.
6 Pins PCIe: More useful for powering GPUs rather than a Risers.

Thnanks for the clarification, I was not aware that it's best practice to only use one riser per SATA rail.
The more you know Cheesy
