This is a good read.

http://satoshicollection.com/why-is-blockchain-important/

A lot of good points and use cases mentioned.

If you don't yet know much about how the fed operates, watch the Youtube videos linked in the article. It's a real eye opener.

Cheers.

Keep the accumulation in the national currency - it's scary.

Yep..

There hasn't been a national fiat currency that hasn't eventually want to it's true value, which is 0.

That article I linked does a good job explaining why this happens, along with the secrets of the banking system.

It's a good read.
3  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why are governments biased towards banning Cryptos? on: September 18, 2018, 02:23:27 AM
Why are all governments pro AI and are so against cryptocurrency? AI has been often conisdered as a threat to humanity but governments use it extensively but blockchain is the best thing that is ever happened to us humans and why do governments hate it so much? They are okay with driverless cars moving around streets but are not okay with currency that will make us more independent? Why this bias?

Should read this article: http://endthesystem.com/the-importance-of-crypto/

If you understand how central banking works, and their influence these bankers have over governments, it'll be clear why they're against crypto.

That article really goes deep. It can be an eye opener. Highly recommend reading it.

Interesting to try to change the vision of people and it must be done but really hard to fight against !

It's hard to fight against, certainly.

The problem is that people still view un-backed fiat currency as "money", and Bitcoin as merely a tool to flip for obtain more of it.

I'm looking forward to when Bitcoin is considered money, providing it remains fully decentralized.

We can't stop them for only believing that bitcoin is only a way to make profits.

I think we can do what we can to educate them on why the current system is failing, as why a decentralized alternative is so important.

If people really understood the philosophy this tech.. they'd be more psyched about holding and striving for mass adoption so they would never have to convert back to fiat.

Bitcoin: A perfect form of money. Trustless / Scarce / Easy to Store / Easy to Send / Permissionless / Decentralized

As to explain what's WRONG with our current financial system, I'm going to just get people to read this: http://endthesystem.com/the-importance-of-crypto/

I don't know how anyone can read that and not be outraged by what we've allowed.

I think most of the people in this forum understand the importance of Bitcoin (and other cryptos)

But, I still see a lot of comments from people in FB groups who just view it was a way to make some quick profits, and are completely naive as to why it was created in the first place.

This is a really good article to share with those people to help them understand just how revolutionary this technology is.

I like the part towards the end, where it makes the prison cell/wounded guard reference.

I'm always looking at chart history and seeing that the big players.. Antshares (NEO), Stratis, Lisk etc. were once selling for just a few cents. Wish I could have got in then..

THIS may be one of those opportunities, so I just bought in. Not a crazy amount...enough to be significant if it goes on a similar run.. but not enough to the point where I'll care if it goes nowhere.

What wallet do you guys use for storage?
