1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: May 17, 2018, 12:33:16 AM
Is anyone else trying to use Vega 56s and Frontier Editions on the same rig?  What a pain in the d@ck.
If so, and you've been successful, how are you doing it?  I'm thinking I'll have to do the registry mods (tables) for the 56s.
Is there an easier way?

thanks

i prefer to have them in 2 separate rigs, these are mine

I'd prefer it too, but I'm not going to build a rig for 1 card.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux) on: March 20, 2018, 12:43:34 AM
Can someone share their config string for dual mining?

Specifically for etherium and a blake2s coin (Verge).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is there a way to pause a rig?  It seems like it should be really easy, but I can't find any way to do it without powering down the rig.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator by NiceHash - multi-algorithm NVIDIA GPU miner [1.4.4a] on: February 27, 2018, 06:31:58 AM
I have a rig with several different cards.  Will I be able to benchmark with the excavator so I don't have to manually configure parameters for every card and algo?

Thanks

How do you set up failover pools?  I've searched and I'm not finding an answer.

Thanks
So I've skimmed the forums since release of 0.6 and didn't see anything concrete on how to setup failover pools.  I was hoping for a --failover (pool, worker, password) but didn't find a solution yet.  Can anyone that has gotten it to work quickly post how its done?  Much appreciated.

look inside the zm.cfg file

thanks...LOL

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: February 23, 2018, 12:52:33 AM
I have a rig with 11 cards.  If I list card -d 10, CCMiner recognizes the card as card 0 and ignores the 1 in 10.  So when I am benchmarking, CCMiner uses card 0 twice causing many algos to crash CCminer.  I tried removing the -d list of cards in the startpool.bat file, but then it defaults to 2 cards for benchmarking and mining.  What file can I change to remove the -d card list so the miners just default to all cards?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Some of the miners don't support card #11 (10) and think its card #1 (0)
Run NemosMiner on first 8 cards is best (0-7) then have separate batch running against blaze2s, phi, or x17 continuously for other cards using TPruvotcuda9/ccminer 2.2.4 which DOES support -d 8,9,10,11

Thanks!
If I did that would have to have 2 instances of Nemos running?

no you wouldn't
run 24hr script, take note of most profitable miner for your rig
you would then craft a batch file that runs ccminer 2.2.4 for that algo for the extra video cards.
first 8 cards would run nemos, other 4 would run the most profitable from last 24 hours

example batch file: C:\nemosminer-v2.4-master\Bin\NVIDIA-TPruvotcuda9\ccminer.exe -d 8,9,10,11 -a phi -o stratum+tcp://phi.mine.ahashpool.com:8333 -u 1FTyourwallet -p ID=MINER1B,c=BTC

Are you saying I will have to run cards 0-7 in nemos, and any above that in ccminer stand alone and manually switch the algos depending upon profitability?  I really appreciate the help....but I'm confused....The way HSR is set up to run neoscrypt is also screwed up....it also considers GPU 10 a 0.

Thanks.

thanks

If you want to specify some of your cards, example; cards 10 and 11......-d doesn't recognize a number over 9......how do I set cards 10, 11 and 12?

Can you set intensity from each individual card?  Will the benchmark tell me what the intensity setting should be for each card?  Can someone post a benchmark batch file example?

Thank You.

My first rig is composed of 4 Vegas (64*2, 56*2), and perfectly working with Claymore (from nanopool). Now im building my 2nd rig with 12 RX 580 and finally able to work! However im getting this error and couldnt figure out what happened.

What I did:
Windows 10 up to date.
AMD Blockchain software successfully installed
Virtual Memory updated to 16GB

What clock settings are you using for your V56s? Are you mining Ethereum?

I am mining neoscrypt with 4 different nvidia cards.  Is there a way to set the intensity for each individual card running 1 instance of the miner?

Yes, there is is, just set parameter - I 15,20,22,16 - where figures are individual intensity for your cards as you need, you may change them and adjust accordingly

Thank you......weird, I tried to set different intensities for each card and it just resets them to default or less.

What pools are you using that give you so many submitted shares?  I'm using flypool US and don't see anything close to the posts I'm seeing in this thread.

Can someone please tell me how to set the rig to mine with specific cards with this miner?
in EWBF the command is "cuda_devices a b c d" but it doesn't work with this one.

Thanks

Is it really that hard to read a readme file?
Guess not...

Thanks (for being a dick)...I read the read me, I missed it before.
Is the dev command working for anyone else on 5.3? I tried it and it keeps crashing.
