I don't know how you can have both censorship and censorship resistance in an immutable database.
In fact I wonder if it's possible to have censorship at all. Even if there are no fields for arbitrary user data, it'd be possible to encode data in the amount field.
What would a bank or stock exchange do if they found out illegal data is encoded in their databases through a sequence of stock market prices? Roll back all the transactions?
I'm afraid, if ZenPub will not have any censorship, it will become a trashcan with child porn and nazi manifests. And all ZEN block chain will be banned by officials. So, maybe, it will be rational to refuse from ZenPub file storage at all. You should never underestimate humans stupidity, which can destroy any new brilliant technology. I share the same concerns, something we'll seriously consider before releasing design specs. It's possible to consider a gatekeeping function where maybe the community has a veto function before committing to chain, but even that raises questions. Thank you for your answer. I'm really glad, that you are thinking about solving of that problem. Yeah, it may be a veto function, however, it will be needed in huge human resources. Somebody must be looking for such content and refuse it. Maybe, there should be a reward system for them. Of course, it will be perfect if there will be some AI which can handle it fairly. But, unfortunately, I'm not a programmer, so I don't know if it possible at all  |

While all this FUD with child porn on bitcoins blockchain happening now, I want to ask a question. Will ZenPub have some protection from such content? Cause, unfortunately, there are many freaks in this world, how can we protect our Zen network from them?

I have not tried developers to contact the CryptoBridge and Kucoin exchange? Both exchanges are young, and in both large and large masses there are trade pairs of coins. And I must say that of all the new exchanges, these 2 most like me. And CryptoBridge is also decentralized, which goes into the concept with the anonymity of this coin!
no Binance is actually killing ZEN. I wouldnt invest in this coin until it gets listed there. Look today, many other coins already gained 10-16% but not ZEN. Price will recover fast, we had chance to see earlier this year..We are working on listing Zen on many exchanges, this process is not so fast as it seems. You better hurry up, cause when Telegram's "TON" will be listed on all major exchanges, it will be to late. If ZEN will be listed after them, everybody will think like it is TON's clone, and they will not care about what project is actually first. It will be very hard to win a market share from such giant, their marketing campaign will destroy everything in its path. I'm still holding my Zen and keep it mining, so I'm really hope that you guys know what you do Wish you all the best! Okex is right behind Binance.. Roll Eyes There are no volume. If you have few hundreds coins nothing to do there. |

Who knows, maybe that price drop is the blessing - it's great time to buy Zen for new secure nods and make network stronger. Maybe we will only win from that.

I sincerely believe that Zen is the one of the most undervalued projects by market. To my mind, zencash needs more liquidity. Why are Dash, Monero, Zcash so popular? Because you can buy and sell them at all popular big exchanges, and they all have USD pairs. It is more convinient for people to use them. I think ZEN needs that too.

I have a question to the Zen team. If it possible to add a pair for Zen with USDT on Bittrex? It is very hard to hedge risks for Zen investors with BTC pair only. I know, that there is a USDT pair on OKex. However, it has not liquidity.

Hello, guys! I'm watching for your project since summer. And I started to mine your currency few months ago, now I have enough of Zen to make few secure nodes. Today I had a conversation with one person, I recommended him to mine Zen and hold it till next bulls trend. However, when I told him about your project, he asked me about how ZenCash will compete with upcoming TON (Telegram's blockchain project)? I've read about their network and realize that it will be almost the same as yours - secure transactions, messenger, storage and anonymizer. What do you think about it?
Interesting, i will investigate, competition however is not a sin. Actually it is good for progress.
