Personally, I kept track of all the trades I made with ACTM. Reimbursement means what you put in, you will recover, which also to be fair should all be in BTC as that is the currency we used to purchase shares. So Ken, please let us know the plan.

DTS, will you please sell up like you promised and give us all a break.  You wanted an exit and now you have one.  Oh, and stop your trademark FUD over in the Maidsafe thread as well, it's getting on my tits.

knybe, you are as bad as DTS.  You've bitched and moaned like a trooper for months.  Now you also have an exit so please give us all a break and take it.  Either that or stop your moaning and grow a pair.

Can't say the price being a hundredth of what it once was is a realistic exit for anyone at this point.

@ActM Thread,, You should not have deleted knybe's post, it was a very legitimate question.

The question is fine and he can ask it, but without the disruptive allegations and name calling.

I don't think in this case it was name calling or a disruptive allegation. He was stating that in many cases greed has won out in other cases of Bitcoin and the investor has been screwed. He thinks this could happen here, and I understand the low morale people have after we have constantly been promised things such as our shares being verified within a week and then that repeatedly not happening over and over again. Acknowledging this as a possibility isn't defamatory.

We have no leverage from one day there just being a "sorry guys, too bad for you type situation" that have happened in other cases. Whereas I do believe in Ken, we don't actually know him. We have never met him. The only thing that will return our spirits is having our shares verified and once again tradable.

I am delighted with their now being progress, but we need to at least have our shares verified. I have a substantial stake in this, when I last checked when it was possible to do so, I think I was something along the sixth largest shareholder.

So to make knybe's question acceptable, then the wording should read

Quote from: knybe
If my predictions are correct, and based on how other bitcoin companies seem to go, greed will win out and we'll never receive shares or dividends.

Ken COULD be working an angle with this investigation and COULD use this excuse to stall or worse, never payout to us.

All Ken has to do is provide proof of this investigation OR verify our shares OR better yet verify and payout dividends and all will be good again.

SOMETIMES unfortuanely greed seems to get the best of most well intentioned people and the nature of bitcoin makes it easier than ever to be greedy.

Well said.

On the contrary. ACtMs main product is btc - which has indeed gone up in value ten fold.

So our cost of production has stayed the same - as all component parts are bought with FIAT.

So all thing's bring equal our share price should be proportionally higher too.

The paper value of the company is inconsequential. Share price directly reflects the dividend yield figure. If btc was 100 or 3000 USD the number of btc we mine remains static - so the share price is almost entirely unrelated the the FIAT value of btc except where FIAT profit allows us to build more miners with the same percentage of mined coins.

I agree with this.

I think it's going to be interesting this time around seeing what happens with the share price. There was a lot of liquidity in the BTCT days for people to discover a new security and give it a chance. Perhaps more securities will come to Cryptotrade once this goes live but this isn't the case now. I guess if people see it on reddit and the share price is rising, maybe people who aren't involved may consider it.

I think we will have a group of people looking to get out and also cash out for BTC now that it is substantially higher, and there will be another group of people who believe we are on the cusp of something big who will want to pick up cheap shares while they can. There is also the believe that there will be some tasty dividends from sales and mining. Most of the buy orders now are hoping there will be an opportunity to pick up bargain basement cheap shares. I think .0011 is still on the low side since we were doing above that on bitfunder before it's fall began to affect the price. That was still in a time of very little news or progress. The past .009 and the eAsic announcement .007 were still in the BTCT days. I guess it all comes down to who believes and who wants out. I think once this goes live we will probably climb to .003 - .004 within a few weeks as long as there is no bad news of delay. It's going to take a lot of progress and good news to get back to .007, but once this gets into full swing I think that is possible and more.

can we all agree that the avalon refund would be best invested towards an order of chips?  Otherwise it will only pay us .00006/share if he pays us right out.. at least then we can get an actualy mining farm going without waiting for money from sales.  Who agrees?

I am for whatever it takes to get our mining farm going as soon as we possibly can.

someone put and bid order at 0.012...what is going on??is he just playing around??

Compared to all of the other orders, I think that person left out a 0. A lot of people probably are watching, waiting to fill that one.
10  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 05, 2013, 03:08:39 AM
CryptoTrade 30 Day Volume = <1btc

Therefore:

Amount of buyers in the market = almost zero
Amount of ActM holders wanting to get out = A LOT

Result = bloodbath

Oh I know, it will be interesting that's for sure!!!

Cool, bring on your cheap shares.

Is anyone going to sell for less than 0.0025 when crypto trade is up?

0.002 * 114,425 = 228.85 = $273,600 aud = 10 times my income.

Yes, I doubt I will be able to hold if the price gets anywhere near 0.002, even though I once hoped for 0.02.

Way to keep the price down, champ.. now everybody is expecting a dump of over 100,000 shares around .002 Smiley
I'll be dumping mine at .0001

How many shares do you have still? 50,000? I would buy your shares at .0001 today if Ken could guarantee that they will be transferred to me.

I might just give them to you for free.. we'll keep in touch

That works too. Smiley

For this reason I will fight him to the end, until there is nothing left

Well I don't see a need to "fight" anyone until December rolls in. I am hoping we are pleasantly surprised.

if there is an update before dec 1st that has anything to do with chips, i will post a picture of me eating yellow snow after my dog pisses in it

So when is the VE yellow snow eating picture happening?

Yeah, I'm even getting one of these - my divs are so much I'll need help keeping track.

I don't think they make a model that counts BTC. Smiley

dunno, everything seems right on schedule to me...

+1 as well.

This bubble and bust may have scared an awful lot of people off.

I don't think those words ("bubble" and "bust") mean what you think it means.

When something is trading at an all time high, and then keeps making new all time highs, and then falls back to the price it was a few days ago (which was on the way up an all time high) then it's not a bust of a bubble.  It's a necessary price correction.

+1

I've had enough of China too.

I only brought up the Winklevoss prediction and tried to work out part of the journey towards this 400Bill Market cap to steer the thread into a bit of positive talk for a bit. Didn't really work. (exasperated) Every second person on here knows better than you do it seems - and they aren't afraid to tell you. Smiley

actually, this report from bother john is pretty interesting, if you we need a topic of discussion other than AMC:

Bitcoin Report Volume 57 (Bitcoin Blowhards)

That was quite interesting.

Ken,

Once our shares become tradeable again, what will the starting price per share be set to?

I don't believe the share price will be "set" to anything, the market will determine a price

Am I wrong that there has to be a starting price? Such as the last price they were listed on bitfunder. When Ken listed shares on cryptostocks, they started at .001.

That was to ensure people could do a like for like swap and not lose any shares.

I'm guessing this is how it will happen - shares will be put on the exchange in users accounts to the full total of 10Mill, the exchange will then be opened for trading. Nothing will be in the asks and bids untill holders want to buy or sell so the order book will start empty. Then trading will begin and sellers will sell at what they want to and buyers will buy at what they want to pay.

Oh, now I understand. Thank you, that makes total sense.

VMC Sales:

3rd Quarter 2013           $1,404,217

October 2013                   $520,898

Total Sales YTD             $1,925,115

Very nice.

Finally got round to transferring my shares over to AMC-TENDER.

Tom,

I dig that you use your name and an image of yourself on your account. I think that would change things when people get irate and start insulting each other on here if they actually saw who they were dealing with. Very cool.
