1  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you had 10k Would you buy Bitcoin before the fork or after? on: November 07, 2017, 07:39:34 PM
If history is any indication, the danger of forks is way overrrated. Oftentimes cryptocurrencies will reach new highs shortly after a hard fork. Two prominent examples are bitcoin and Ethereum. The markets are quick to adjust to forks and recognize the value of coins even after a split.
Hard fork will give free B2X and absolutely no impact on BTC value.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum or Crypterium or Ripple? on: November 06, 2017, 04:23:23 PM
I've been wondering where to place my extra money, I've researched somehow the 3 of them and have their own pros and cons. Should invest on them?
I would go with $XRP project.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: November 04, 2017, 02:09:02 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

Yes, it's risky to turn all your money into bitcoin. Bitcoin is volatile and if you know what you are entering you understand the risk that you'll be taking. And if your money is just staying in the bank and earning with a very low interest better to take the risk in bitcoin by buying at dip and wait for it to grow. The profit in bitcoin may grow in lesser time than your expectation. More risk, more profit but invest only what you afford to lose.

Industry experts suggest investing 5% of your hard earned money in each quarter to minimize the risk as opposed to putting all money in one go.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP!! New at this airdrop and bounty.. on: November 04, 2017, 01:58:34 AM
I need help on how this bounty and airdrop works how do you convert it to btc/eth? Need a step-by-step tutorial on this... Do you need to cashout some cash? Or just converting these tokens to btc/eth? How?

Do some search, I bet there is lot of info around. Use google ... just enter: "your_query site:bitcointalk.org"

In simple:
1 - tokens first needs to be listed on some exchange
2 - then you can sell them (mostly for other coins)

Alternatively you can find person who will buy them from you (p2p trade)

Air drops are the best way to get your hands dirt.
