Hello,
Unaware of the issues Coinmarket.io had, I deposited 0.4995 BTC to my account a few days ago. Realizing I was unable to trade this I attempted to withdraw my funds however the transaction has been stuck at ‘Pending’ for the last couple of days. Additionally I did not receive a confirmation link.
Understanding that my funds were accepted by Coinmarket.io *after* the alleged hack event occurred and therefore my funds could not have been interfered with by the incident, I request you kindly release them to me, in full, without further delay.
Regards,
CryptoPiggy

Here's an example of how overpriced the altcoins are when buying.
Convert 2.0 BTC to LTC
1. Sell 0.00000047 BTC for 0.00001333 LTC (price 0.03500000) 2. Sell 0.10000000 BTC for 1.0 LTC (price 0.10000000) 3. Sell 0.50000000 BTC for 0.50000000 LTC (price 1.00000000) 3. Sell 0.99999953 BTC for 0.499999765 LTC (price 2.00000000) (yes... it costs 2 BTC to buy 1 LTC!!)
On pmtocoins, 2.0 BTC = 2.000013095 LTC
On Vircurex, 2.0 BTC = 77.40051458 LTC On Cryptsy, 2.0 BTC = 77.59941812 LTC On BTC-E, 2.0 BTC = 77.54467754 LTC
So to "withdraw" your 2.0 BTC via conversion to LTC on pmtcoins, then conversion back to BTC on another exchange, will net you about 0.05 BTC. That's only 2.5% of your original balance, a loss of 97.5%
That's an excellent deal, I don't know what you're bitching about! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Looks like another instamine.
First, 99 blocks were mined around 6-7 hours prior to the launch. These are separate to the premine on block #1. I may be missing something, but I can't find anything in the ANN about mining an extra 99 blocks.
Then block 101 and onwards was mined from around 4 minutes before the official launch.
Zeitcoin (MNT)
Zeitcoin is an innovative, secure and energy efficient PoW/PoS coin. It uses a faster PoW distribution mechanism to distribute the initial coins, then after 5 weeks the coin is basically transferred to a pure PoS coin, where the generation of the coin is mainly through the PoS interests.
Zeitcoin [MINT] also adopt a variable PoS rate, which gives the highest payout at 20% the first year, then decrease 5% per year until the 4th year it reaches annual interest rate of 5%, then it will remain at this rate.
Because after 5 weeks it is basically a pure PoS coin, it does not need to be intensively mined, as the PoW payout will remain the minimum. Most coins will be generated through PoS, thus it is a coin that will save a lot of energy compared to other coins.
Zeitcoin will have a total of 70 billion coins. Initially each block will deliver 100000 to 900000 coins randomly. The PoW payout will be halved each week (7 days). After 5 weeks, the PoW payout will be fixed at 1 coin per block.
PoS will start after at least 20 days of holding of the coins in the wallet. With PoS, the coin is more resilient to 51% attack.
Other Specifications: - 30 seconds block target - 100000 - 900000 coins per block initially - PoW payout will be halved every week for the first 5 weeks - After 5 weeks, the PoW payout will be fixed at 1 coin per block - Difficulty retargets every block - PoS variable interests: - 1st year: 20% - 2nd year: 15% - 3rd year: 10% - 4th and subsequent years: 5% - Total coins will be 70 billions - 4 confirmations for transaction, thus fast 2 mins confirmation for transdactions - 50 confirmations for minted blocks - 1% premine for bounties, giveaways, development, support and maintenance, new feature developments etc. - https://github.com/zeitcoin/zeitcoinAnother copy-and-paste coin instamined before release claiming to be "fair". Good job.

Anybody having issues with PoolNetwork withdrawals please PM us and we will help you withdraw ALL coins you have on your account - We were a victim of a DDoS attack which meant our accounts were frozen for 4-5 hours.
All working fine now but please PM us if you are still having issues. PM sent.

you guys, mining at the pool network pool: can you edit your settings? you have to verify using your email account before you can edit but it seems the pool isn't sending any emails at all, making it impossible for me to change settings.
I'm already waiting for 7 hours now, including contacting the owners but nothing so far.
Same here. No email, No respond from pool admin. Waiting for more than 24 hours... Hope i will get my mined 500k RBBT ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I have ~900K coins tied up with them too and support aren't responding to anyone's requests. A lot of people have posted similar issue with them in this thread. OP - Please remove rabbit.poolnetwork.org from the Pools list until support release people's coins.

http://rabbit.poolnetwork.org/cant unlock anything because I never get emails. Please fix this so I can put my wallet address. already sent 2 email in the past 24 hours and I get no reply, nothing. Thank you I have the same issue with rabbit.poolnetwork.org. No response to support email either.

Were you able to withdraw it? http://rabbit.poolnetwork.org requires email confirmation to set your payment address but it didn't send the confirmation email for me. Works for me perfectly, try again Cheers for the reply. Yeah I have tried several times and checked my spam folder too. Hopefully I'll get a reply from support. You should set to auto payout, payout works fine every 5 min I would do that but I can't even set my payment address if I don't receive a confirmation email.

Block 1 mined yesterday, fair enough (it's a genesis and necessary to incorporate it into the client), but note that "real world" mining from block 2 onwards started 5 sec just before launch. That means someone had a wallet up and synced, 100% ready to go, at the exact time of launch. While all the rest of us were trying to find a working pool or wallet for half an hour or more. Just thought I'd put that out there. Seems legit. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

A coin to honor Big Vern?
Eeeeeenteresting......
WHO? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Just a note - I am not the dev - just part of the media team. Unless Big Vern has actually endorsed this coin (and he hasn't) you should disclaim it clearly in the OP. Sad.

I don't like any of the ones that end in gold. It is not gold and I feel it is disingenuous. Don't care for Moola as a prefix either.
I like the endings bit and coin (bit might be preferable because there are going to but a crazy ton garbage altcoins that end in coin in the near future)
You might want to consider the .net names. They may open up some additional alternatives. You don't need a .com or .org name to succeed.
Just look at minecraft.net
I also like the .net domain for cryptocurrency because the net is what they are all about.
Keep in mind that from a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) perspective, Google will favour the .com variant over a .org, and a .org over a .net when competing for similar keyword/phrases.

@Penguincoin -I'm sure others might like a response to this too. Mr PENG to an exchange! once its added it can bring in alot more miners and activity! Lets spread the word about PENG and tell the exchange operators about this new rising coin if you havent already.
PENGUINS ARE LOOSE
That would be very cool but trading on exchanges isn't in itself promoting actual use of the currency.
I've been mining Penguin Coin and following this thread since the first launch attempt, and having just re-read the OP I can't actually see anything mentioned about planned promotion.
I'm wondering, other than trying to trade (dump) in exchange for established crypto-currencies, what promotion is being done to proliferate its use?

There's a lot of great design work here. The one that's currently in the lead (by mjbmonetarymetals) is certainly amongst them, but in my opinion it doesn't really say anything about Quark to people who aren't already familiar with Quark. And if you look at it objectively, disregarding the flashy binary backgrounds etc, the logo itself is a pretty simple rehash of what Quark already uses. I like the boxxl design. It has a "money" feel to it and It keeps the familiar quark symbol while introducing the 'Q' which may be important for people who are less familiar with Quark already. I also really like barrysoetoro's design. In my opinion it's by far the best conceptually thought out design and looks very clean and modern. Either of these two designs add strong credibility to Quark's public image but as I only have one vote I selected barrysoetoro.

Quote from ninten's blog comments Hi,
People on the bitcointalk forum in your [ANN] thread are waiting on a response indicating if you will delete the 50% premine. It would be good if you would go and respond to that because the coin has zero chance of ever being traded if the premine isn't purged down to < 1%.
Also, I don't know if you've considered this, but if that premine doesn't get purged by you, you can bank on one of the community who supported the launch taking over the coin and hard forking you out altogether; and everyone who invested hashes in the coin's launch will support them.
If I were you I'd purge the premine and retain control of the blockchain before someone helps you out of it.
Just my 2c. You can take it or leave it.
Take care. Here's hoping.
