1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: September 04, 2014, 06:43:07 PM

No

No

No

I am hopeful, but skeptical. I see what is likely happening, though I hope its just the realistic side of me being overly cautious. The minute payout drop I am off this pool until they get better, rinse and repeat. I'd really like to just park my miners here, but the unfortunate reality is you cannot do that at this time without great risk.

Yes

Yes to a degree

I was for a bit.

Just a quick update, I was able to speak to s0br directly on IRC and he admitted that there were some possible issues between stratum servers and db which could have caused our shares to be lost.

Currently he has paid us all back payments due including the bonus using my share count.  I would like to publicly thank s0br for following through with the back payments and working to improve the system.

I hope you will go through your prior posts & edit/delete them.

And he should modify/remove the "News" item on his pool's web-site for August 31st.

No, I'm not going to revise history.  I don't believe I ever said anything that was factually incorrect at the time.  What happened happened and hopefully things will be better for the users of this pool going forward.

The more I think about, the more it reflects on who you are as a person. In retrospect, you should leave it up.

The S3 that I won just came in! Thank you SO much. I'll post a picture soon!

So, think a little before you post. Go make that picture you promised the forum so long ago.

I put a lot of thought on how to best post a possibly identifying picture on a forum dedicated to cryptocurrency. The attached shows the matching first name of the sender that you will find posted by another winner. Same shipping location, weight, and appropriate date to coinciding with my post. I hope you will have the dignity to react appropriately.

Do you guys know if the winners from the second round of drawings have had those sent out yet? I bet you that mine are being shipped out today, or been shipped and these guys are going to give me a tracking number today. Any word on the shipment for second round of winners?

That would stop this nonsense right away. Its been a few days, so any business I want to support most likely already sent them out. So Lets see if I get a tracking number soon before you go posting accusations. Though if this is a scam, I will be with you shouting to the rooftops. Until then, Will try to think positive.

Man, I would hate to have you as a customer for any business of mine.
6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S3 batch 6 overclocking on: August 28, 2014, 06:21:36 PM
What kind of concern do you have for damaging the unit? I believe I have batch 5 units, can I expect similar results?
7  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 28, 2014, 01:22:18 PM
Can you guys bug s0br to get those machines out?  Grin The difficulty is going very high unfortunately and we know that a lot of new equipment is going be shipped in Sept.

If its going to be annoying, don't worry about it. But that is a big draw of what brings people here. It helps the pools image to, the faster people get prizes. You guys are giving away 19.84 bitcoins. You gotta get the max brand value out of that! People will say, "yeah, it was quick and professional", or "It took forever, I never thought I would get it". We know which is better publicity  Wink

Thank you guys for keeping us informed of the payout issues to. Was thinking it was on my end for a long time, tried nearly everything I could think of in an attempt to keep mining here, so you guys are doing something right.

I received mine very promptly. So the image of "quick & professional" will be one that I will continue to spread for this pool!
8  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 27, 2014, 06:20:23 PM
s0br asked for volunteers to help maintain the pool or whatever else he needs, and i offered via email, PM and IRC with notsomuch as a "no thanks were good" or anything ... if there is anything i can do to help i would be willing to do so i think his heart is in the right place here and id like to help him ( and the pool ) succeed.

i have to say i might end up leaving over this if it continues for another couple days ... so far im down .002 for yesterday and on track to be the same for today as well... that's even lower then my theoretical earnings before the 12.5%.

When looking for "employees" or any time of extra help, you should strive to have someone who's willing to stick with the business through some "scope" of "thick or thin". I don't know if I would necessarily be inclined to hire someone who's so on the fence of just up & leaving, as the prospect of good will is most likely not there.

That being said, I am noticing a small reduction in pay out.
9  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 26, 2014, 01:27:14 PM
You should offer him one of your invisible S3's as compensation........ Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I just don't get it, I have one of the S3's they raffled off..
10  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 25, 2014, 02:34:26 PM
well still no news of S3 winners announcement since the last. sorry that i posted earlier with alot of rage but was really STEAMING ! but here are some thoughts & questions in my mind but i will mine for a couple of days & see how it goes since there are "some" improvements/stability.

- i think S3's has already arrived to s0br but did the winners received it yet ? yeah lack of comm is a turn off.

It would behoove you to make sure you pay attention to the environment around you before you jumping to statements that shouldn't be made. I received my S3 & so did many others, check the thread. Smiley

payouts still showing up in my wallet thus happy Smiley

Nervous that website is down.

I think I've become a PPS fan on this pool! Payouts higher than I'm used to.

Just relax, it goes up & down at various intervals. The pool op has been nothing but honest & transparent.
13  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 19, 2014, 01:36:04 PM
I registered a new account at https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com/.  I got the email, followed the link, it said that it was successful and to log in.  Trying to log in doesn't work.  I get a very brief message that a token expired and try again.  Many tries later I figured I wasn't typing fast enough and used paste.  Still no joy.  So I sent an email.  Except that failed also.

Running a mining pool is complicated.  I have to wonder about a pool who's web page will not even work.

TaggedYa

Wonder all you want, everything is fine on my end..

Question. Blocks extracted pool on blokchaine under different addresses. Write under any addresses we produce and convince me that there is still some address that appears on blokchaine, but not is counted pool.
No offense, just a bunch of obscure addresses and do not want to be deceived. Grin

What does this mean?

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Way to get round the 5 post limit... on: June 05, 2013, 02:02:30 AM
What if you have to have mined a certain total amount of coins & successfully made a transaction, i.e: cashing out whatever amount of BTC you just earned to your wallet. This way, people who DON'T have four hours to refresh, at least may have that time available for their PC to be on.

I'm in an odd spot where I started mining but never logged on to these forums, so now I'm trying to get some help but need to get past this 5 post & four hour requirement..

I just wish my pool had better ways to get suport..
