1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Eth] Collectible cat game (CryptoKitties) accountable for 2% of total gas usage on: December 07, 2017, 11:11:33 AM
TLDR:
  • Collect, trade, and breed cryptographically unique Kitties
  • Kitties have a 256-bit genome with rare genes and special "Fancy Cats" hidden throughout
  • Early access was launched on Thursday, within a few hours became one of top-used dApps ever, accounting for 2%+ of total gas usage that day
  • One of the first at-scale uses of blockchain that is not cryptocurrency or fund transfer

Its dev's idea is great bringing virtual pet concept, but then it's badly congested the network, it's very disadvantageous others. I don't care about kittens worth how many ETH. The fact is, it's disturbing many peoples.

Crypto Kitties has now 20% of all the transactions of the ETH network. It is clogging the ETH network right now. Seems like a good stress test for the system

I think this moment should be an evaluation for ETH network related to response sudden heavy traffic like this and previously when Bancor ICO last time.

People buying virtual cats for 100's of USD whereas , many homeless kitties looking for home , human is a greedy and showoff animal.

And this is my favorite comment at all.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Serious Of A Problem for Ethereum is Crypto-Kitties? on: December 07, 2017, 10:50:42 AM
We're told that crypto-kitties is slowing down the Ethereum network by 10%, but I can't do any transactions at all.

How is it affecting others here?

The other also experiencing the same thing bro.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: “crypto kitties” game bogging down the Ethereum network? on: December 07, 2017, 10:48:52 AM
According to this, a silly game that involves trading cartoon images of cats is bringing down the Ethereum network.   Pending transactions and failed transfers have spiked, and it seems to be linked to this game.  hopefully it’s a quick fad, like pokimon go, but if this is successful, even for a short time, there will be clones, and it could kill the netowrk...

Yeah, the fact is like that. Many peoples also experiencing the same things, pending tx, rolled back and failed.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is ethereum so slow? on: December 07, 2017, 10:43:52 AM
I am doing trades on ehterdelta where the default gas price is 4 Gwei. The network in the last few days is terribly slow I remember 1 week ago I was making trades on 1 Gwei and even 0.1 and the transactions were done within minutes, now with 4 Gwei I have to wait like 20 minutes and sometimes the transactions get canceled. My question is what is the reason for this? Is it temporary or it will be like this for the near future?

Me too. I thing everybody experiencing the same problem. And it's because the cryptokitty.
Some people already discuss here :

*) I already increase the gas but still happen the same
5  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: November 25, 2017, 03:16:58 PM
I don't trust all these HYIP websites and I'm looking for a more reliable way to invest.
Any suggestions?

For me, trading is still a best choice. I can operate and control by my self.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 24, 2017, 08:53:58 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

Assuming that 10 years starts from today, If you ask about ".... keep it for 10 years" I prefer to put it on gold. Because I'm just 65% considering to put it on bitcoin if it's just passive.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] WorkCoin [WRK] The First Crypto w/ Built-in Escrow & Arbitration on: November 15, 2017, 08:50:03 PM
Such a nice project, especially related to its independent arbitration.

By the way, token sale date showed on the top of your pic above (on the count-down timer section) it's stated January 1, 2017, while in website corrects, but it might be little bad for those who fast hunt for ICO and not aware of it, they could be think that it's over and pass it.

10  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10.000 = 1BTC on New Year? on: November 04, 2017, 08:39:37 PM
What will be a bitcoin rate by new year?

Last night, some drunk traders also discuss about 10K, most of them will sell for their year-end holiday, christmas till new year. Maybe 8K is great reversal point. But, never mind, forget it, they were only drunk guys  Cheesy
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your ETH to buy BTC right now? on: November 04, 2017, 08:29:08 PM
If you sell Ethereum to buy Bitcoin right now you are literally selling low to buy high - The exact opposite method to making money! Save your Eth, BTC will drop again. Part of me thinks that Bitcoin Cash is going to take over BTC but that is just speculation

Agree with you dude

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Ethereum wallet on: October 31, 2017, 12:32:54 PM
I have recently started participating in Airdrops and was wondering which is the best Ethereum wallet to use as some airdrops asking for certain wallets that collect tokens

MyEtherWallet (MEW) is the easiest and the most familiar for me as beginner. Very easy to use. And I'm still considering Metamask and Parity.

Hello I would like to know about bounty campaign. Please advice.

Before decide to join a high-qualified bounty, the most important thing is to observe it. I mean how trusted is it. Nowadays there a ton of scammy fake ICO, bounty campaign, airdrops or something. Better wasting your time for observing curated high-quality campaign, than wasting your time following scammy bounty. Good luck. I'm still learning on it. Thats all my advice.
