I dont think  Bitcoin has completely defeated Gold. The number of people holding Gold is more than people holding Bitcoin! Even majority of Government are holding gold!

Due to Bitcoin can be trade for anyone from any country, the value of Bitcoin can be grown rapidly in next few year. In fact, the number of people holding Bitcoin is still considered not many, compares to the world population.

Even the powerest Gov't cannot stop Bitcoin! You see China banned Bitcoin since October, and now the value of Bitcoin is growing rapidly than before!

Definetely it's bad! THe banning stops growing of the usuage of Bitcoin! It's gonna be a bid diadvantage to Bitcoin!

Honestly, i will convert my wealth to both BitCoin and ETH! The cryptocurrency will be the main trading currency in the future, but not the Gold!

for me i think now it's too late to buy BTC, you should invest other potential currencies, such as QTUM or OMG.
