The great DragonMint mystery. I uploaded a YouTube video yesterday highlighting what I seen so far from Halong Mining and that I was still not 100% convinced. To my surprise, Halong Mining retweeted my video, Adam Back like it and My Rig suggested I flew to Iceland, Spain or Hong Kong for a live demo. I'm glad my video got attention, but I still don't know if this is real  Cheesy

I sure hope they can deliver.

***Please read message below about transaction fees*****

Last thing I want to do is point people in the wrong direction, so I will be doing more research around transaction fees and decide on switching to another pool.

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started mining Bitcoin with a friend and we realized that it is a lot more profitable than we thought. Understandingly, we might have entered at the right time and who knows what the future holds, but for now, it has exceeded our expectations.

Bitcoin mining is accessible to a lot of people and it shouldn’t be high jacked by big corporations. In an effort to fight back from Bitcoin mining becoming centralized, I decided to share our mining journey on YouTube.  I hope my channel will empower individuals that are hesitant to start their own mining operation. And at the same time, educate newbies that they don’t have to give their money to a scam site in order to profit from this crypto economy.

If you have a chance, drop by to watch my videos, like, subscribe and please don’t hesitate to ask questions, I will take time to answer you.

Hi Drixy,

I see someone moved my post to service dicussion, which is fine to me, I'm really trying to not to brake any rules on this forum, but posting areas can be a bit subjective. Thanks for offering to bump up my post, now I just have to figure out how to link or pm you. Haha

Nice videos. I subscribed your youtube channel. Videos are very nice and informative.I am also planning to enter into mining field very soon. But my problem is its very difficult to import miners to my country. So i am planning to start altcoin mining with gpu. Can you suggest which is the best gpu for mining altcoins especially ethereum.

Hi savioroshan,

Thanks for subscribing, much appreciated. I'm not mining ethereum right now, so I don't have the depth of knowledge to advise you, but from the research I did, here are two options.

1. Since you have issues  importing miners  in your country, you best option might be to build your own. The best step by step guide I found is this one: https://cryptosrus.com/ethereum-mining-rig/
2. For a rig already build, I know that Bitmain started selling G1 and G2 miners in China, they should be available soon to other markets, but I'm not sure how profitable they are compared to a home build: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2171488.0

If we eventually start mining Ethereum, I'll make a video  about it showing what we went with  etc...

I hope this helps.
Cheers

If you can't mine Bitcoin yourself, your next best thing is to buy and hold. Period. We started mining on our own in October and it is 4 times more profitable than we thought:  https://youtu.be/acaeeRAxt8M

The problem with cloud mining is that they charge you a fee, which is usually 30% of returns, so you loose a lot from the start, and  as difficulty increases, you will be making nothing in no time. If you mine on your own, the pool fees are around 2-3% and you keep all your returns. Mining is not as complicated as you would think, just follow my channel and you will see.

Hi everyone,

If you are new to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, you might want to follow us on YouTube to watch our mining journey: https://youtu.be/JY4yStm0f7w

You can ask us questions here or on social media, we will be happy to help. I have a business background and my partner is a master electrician, so we should be in a position to answer any question related to mining. The future of Bitcoin relies on us sticking together and teaching others how to mine and use cryptocurrencies.

We started a few weeks ago with one Antminer S9 and I give weekly updates on our profitability. A second S9 is arriving in two weeks and we should have 4 running by end of January. We have plans to move into a bigger space summer of 2018 and eventually ramp up between 50 to 150 miners.

My business and channel name is obviously inspired by Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway. When I saw Warren on the news talking about Bitcoin being a bubble, I was reminded that he made over a billion dollars with Blue Chip Stamps; that was basically stamps used as a currency in the 70s. It was enough to get me involved and I twisted his Berkshire Hathaway name to Bitshare Hashaway, to me it is pretty funny. I have a blog post about Blue Chip Stamps and Warren Buffett if you want to check it out: https://bitsharehashaway.tumblr.com/post/167236404334/is-warren-buffett-buying-bitcoins

My business partner and I have good full time jobs, so we are not here to try to push scam sites to anyone. We simply enjoy mining and want to share our journey + it would be nice to earn some beer money with YouTube views  Grin

Cheers

Hi,

If you want to find out more about Bitcoin mining, I'm doing weekly videos on YouTube; showing profitability mining in Québec. We currently have 5.6 cents electricity cost. Currently uploaded week 3 and will be doing a video each week showing how our Antminer S9 is doing. We ordered a few more S9, but for consistency, I'll keep showing profitability for the original miner.
