Yeah whatever, prices will still fall when investors receive their coins. Maybe it won't go much below 0.01$, but I am pretty certain we will reach that mark. |

I know the old thread was also closed because of all those negativity-spreading trolls and liars. In this thread though, the user "Cafetools" keeps spamming overly optimistic comments, making this thread very repetitive to read, as there are multiple of those comments on each page.

Those wanting to make a quick profit are stuffed now. I suspect when people get their Electroneum there will be a minor sell panic and the price will go below 1 cent at which point people will start to buy but the price will probably stabilise at a low level for a while.
Some people will unload at a loss and later regret it.
As things stabilise and the marketing push starts the price will rise. The short term profit angle is now gone. These guys made 40mill because of the marketing side of things and that is what they are good at. So let's see what happens. I see the future as being potentially very bright. Probably the best thing to do if you have ETN is just walk away and come back in two or three months. It may also help retain your sanity.
Agreed. I missed the time frame to invest, but I managed to mine quite a bit of ETN and sold them for ~10 cents each. I plan to buy as soon as prices are back at around 1 cent or even below that, and then hold for a looooooooong time. |

How is possible they start in an exchange without before giving the possibility to transfer the ETN out of our wallet  It's incredible, all the people that would sell etn lost a lot of money I don't know how they decide this and it is really the worst thing they decide. They gave free money for the first miners. Some succed to get 0.5 BTC. Can you imagine mining a coin and getting 3500 USD in one night and that it can be immediately sold? It is impossible with other new mining coins. What pissed me off even more is that i was unable to use the miner, and there was no way to make it working.... There certainly was a way to make it work, you just weren't able to. But that is not the fault of ETN devs. It was a little the dev fault. As they did only gave instructions about mining with CPU. And some people already mined it if GPU on other mining pools. And i think not everyone mined everyday coins... Especially they knew that some investors don't know nothing about mining. And why did they open the Exchange before everything? That's another problem too. Other ICO don't put their coins in Exchanges so fast. Yeah, ETN being brought to Cryptopia before the investors received their coins might be unfair. But blaming miners for anything is just wrong, I am new to cryptocurrencies and never mined before, and managed to set up GPU mining within one hour of the ETN blockchain starting. So seeing that I am a beginner as well, to me it just seems that peole who complain about miners weren't willing to commit enough time and effort. Again: You don't just invest with a couple of clicks and then magically become a millionaire overnight. |

Secondly: As soon as all investors, including you, receive their coins, prices will dump and you wouldn't be able to sell for the price ETN is at right now anyway. Most of what I'm seeing are people who expected to get rich quick by investing in the ICO and dumping their coins with the launch day peak. My intention was always to hold on to this coin because I believed in the project and know it has value that could send coin prices up to the $1-5 mark. I expected the launch to be rocky because the demand at launch is way higher for this coin than any other in the past.
Besides, even at current value, we've already made profit.
I personally got a few thousand coins by simply mining, as I missed the ICO. Sold those earlier today already, and I plan to buy again as soon as prices dump a lot when investors receive their coins. Then, I'm gonna hold on to this coin for a veeeeery long time. Reading all these comments of greedy I-want-to-be-rich-overnight-investors, it seems as if my strategy might prove to be better than that of those who invested a lot of money and dump their coins. This thread proves that people in general just aren't very intelligent! |

That was a ridiculous joke to us!!! The price was at 0.80 and we cannot sell any coin. Miners sold and now price is around 0.10 cents. Contratulations to the ETN team for not allowing us to use our own Wallet.
It's not everyone that know how transfer using CMD commands. I don't even know how to acess my public key from CMD.
You know, I am completely new to cryptocurrencies, I never mined like I am doing with ETN before and I never used offline wallets or cmd commands. And still, I managed to transfer some of my offline wallet funds to cryptopia by simply googling, using reddit and using this forum for a maximum of 30 minutes. I don't know what it is with some of you guys, it seems as if you expect to become millionaires by simply doing a few random clicks? Come on, at least try to use your brains. |

Oh pleaaaase, just relax and give them some time. I understand that in order to do a proper launch, features like mobile mining or the online wallet are postponed. I'd much rather wait for mobile mining a couple of days than lose all my tokens because they rushed the release. This is my first time in this type of ICO and cryptocurrency launch, and I already got the feeling that a lot of people simply don't grasp the whole concept and think they will be rich overnight.

This could be a deal breaker, I mean what do you guys think? Surely seems fishy, but personally I am still going to invest a little amount of "gambling money" as I call it, where I don't shed a tear if I lose it all. Money which I would otherwise spend on a night out drinking beer or so, might as well just invest into another cryptocurrency ICO.  |
