Current speed of my workers is reported as 0.0 kH/s instead of about 500 MH/s.
They are connected to litecoinpool and work as usual, just the speed displayed at the site is zero.
What can be a cause of it?
If the pool reports a speed of zero it means that your miner is not submitting shares. This can happen for a variety of reasons, ranging from hardware failure to software misconfiguration. Since there are many possible causes, it is hard to debug this issue without further insight. You should try to look for error messages, but unfortunately many ASIC interfaces are not very helpful in this regard. Some of the most common problems are: - A bad or insufficient power supply.
- A badly configured server URL (especially in the case of Antminers, as Bitmain's software requires one to omit the "stratum+tcp://" protocol prefix).
- Wrong worker credentials. You must use the username and password of one of your workers, not of your account. Worker usernames are composed of two parts separated by a dot, the first part being your account username. Both usernames and passwords are case-sensitive!
And what about "stratum requested work restart" on numerous pools - and since I see the wotk done, the credentials are fine, and everything works perfectly for some time then suddenly at least a ton of "stratum requested work restart" with no reason at all thx |

Why are you wasting time trying to mine Script with a CPU or a GPU?
Even the GRIDSEED ASIC stuff is getting borderline on if you can mine profitably with it if you have SUPER cheap electric.
I suspect they're just too slow to compete for shares any more on most pools.
I have free electricity (and even thinking about going solar) and I am just starting to use ASIC miners, so I am first trying to see if it is a good investment to purchase better gridseeds like one with 40 chips or so ... and go for the throat. |

I tried mining BITCOIN too, at the speed of about 1 GH, which is terrible with the Gridseed 5 Orb ASIC and I NEVER got any accepted share for 72 hours, only the same issues, I read something about switching pools as it could be due to that, and so I ended up mining litecoin where I finally got some shared found ("Total work done 335 GH") and almost 0.001 for a short time. I tried also mining bitcoin on CPU, GPU and this ASIC miners but to no avail, only ASIC got some speed but neither of them got any at all approved shares for about a week.
Your ASICs are obsolete. The Gridseeds were obsolete for Bitcoin when they were released even. If you want to try them as a lottery for Bitcoin, you need to point them to a vardiff pool, like CK's solo pool. They'll accept low diff shares like the ones your Gridseeds produce. If you want to Litecoin, you'd have to ask in the altcoins forum, but I've successfully used them at multipool.us for scrypt coins at the lowest difficulty they accept. Ok, can I ask that here in altcoins forum ... and do You have any suggestion about the issue, I know they are obsolete for bitcoin, so I am trying them on some of the "less popular" coins that have scrypt or sha algorythm, but there is that ever lasting issue of "work restart" for which I still do not have any clue what the heck is that and how to fix it ? Normally pool sites forums will give better advice than us anyway. Especially in that example as that site only mines litecoin so the forum will be specific to that and the scrypt algorithm it uses. This thing DOES NOT WORK for some unknown reason, it DOES NOT recognize CPU nor GRIDSEED nor it gives the opportunity to "scan hardware" 0 it is grayed out, and when mining on GPU, most of the time the speed it 0.0 and it is reported as offline while in the interface it says "current 29 Kh/s" - or even faster speeds, but most interesting part is that I never on any other way I mined I get ANY AT ALL Invalid shares, until I tried using this crappy "MultiMiner" and got my first 1 - 100% INVALID SHARES  1. this does not offfer MULTI and does not allow to scan hardare 2. can not use ASIC miners with this 3. no CPU mining 4. almost 99% of the time reports as offline miner - even when I turn on to restart miners or detect orphaned miners ... any advice to use this the way its name suggests as this way I have not intention of giving 1% for faulty program thx |

AND I EVEN GOT 1 INVALID SHARE on a new rig I have just started testing - and it has produced about 14 kH/s out ov about 500 as it should work ... and my 4 RIGS work on 0.0 and 1 even on 24 h has 0.0 because of this errors !!!

Hello, can an1 help me with some advice, I have enormous numbers of "stratum requested work restart" messages one after another, without a single accepted share, on all my miners CPU, VGA and even Gridseed 5 Orb, and here are they even reported as offline (because they did not find a single share)
So, my question is ... is there any command to input in my .bat file (or something) to avoid this from happening or at least to get back to mining ... ?
here's my configurations from .bat file:
Gridseed:

I tried posting questions, but moderator 2 times deleted my questions - without any notice why for, I thought this is the right place to ask for advices on MINING BITCOINS !!!
I get stuck at "pool requested work restart" and about 100 messages of that and no new shares !!! Can any1 advise what to do to skip this and get back to mining without need of watching my miners 24/7 ?
