2  Other / Off-topic / The psychology and the mechanics of a crypto-cheater on: November 12, 2017, 12:16:50 AM
Hi all,

here I am going to show you how a cryptocoin cheaters operate, so you could learn from our experience.

When we were looking for an angel investor, we found on this forum a person who showed interest to support us. This conversation took place on Telegram:

He showed interest in buying our coins and we started to speak about details and negotiate the price. I am going to skeep about 10 pages of this boring talk and go straight the end, where the deal happened:

(despite the discount we offered, he asked even for more discount)

Here is the cheat part, you send first and I will pay later.

And here is where he shows his real face.

So, to recap, what is the mechanics?

1. They will approach you and act like a regular people, even ask a discount.
2. The deal will look great.
3. They will try to gain control over you, buy installing their own rules and trying to make you follow them.
4. If they find an obstacle, they will become aggressive.
5. If you have weak discipline, you will be a victim.

That's it. Be strong, no matter how good the deal is, don't break your own rules!
Have a nice day (or night) everybody.

4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should i invest in bitcoin on: November 10, 2017, 08:23:53 PM
Should i invest in bitcoin

Only if you want to lose money. You will be better if you invest in Bitcoin Cash. The reason is the block size and thus it is not so limited as Bitcoin. There is a problem with blockchain algorithm, it does not scale. Bitcoin has reached its limit and simply there is no room for newcomers, and as you know, the price rises when more people come and buy bitcoins. Bitcoin is in big trouble right now. Check this article, it explains the problem in layman terms: http://afterether.org/blockchain-scalability-by-blockchain-clustering.html
Same thing is happening to Ethereum.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are cryptocurrencies really? on: November 10, 2017, 08:16:28 PM

these are limited entries in a database no one can change without fulfilling specific conditions. This may seem ordinary, but, believe it or not: this is exactly how you can define a currency.
Nope. Wrong definition. I can design a calendar on the blockchain and it will fit the definition you posted, but it won't be a currency. Check what is the definition of currency on Wikipedia.

Hi,
we are looking for an investor who can help us to create buzz for our project. Basically, we need to pay for the advertisement and improve website's image, this the only thing left to do. If you share our idea, please PM, we may find some agreement below our ICO price if you invest a considerable amount.

This is our project URL: http://afterether.org
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Hi I want to invest in Expanse 10000 coins on: November 10, 2017, 04:32:42 PM
Does this currency Expanse have a future in the near future?

If you are planning to invest in Ethereum-like currency, then AfterEther is your best option. The team has much better vision of cryptocurrency trends.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining AfterEther coins on: November 10, 2017, 03:03:29 PM

I too have the some nvidia 710 4gb cards. If can able to mine your coins. I am really looking forward to part of mining service but I am really fed up with the nice hash miner due to lack hash power to mine bitcoins. I hope that I can mine more due to less competition.
However, congrats for the new project and new ICO.

we need miners, so if you have any question, please ask, we will help you.

When are you going to make this Windows-friendly?  I have 8 NVidia GPU's that are looking for new territory.
We will put this into TODO list.
15  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Scalability? on: November 10, 2017, 12:24:37 AM
Hi guys,

this is our idea to scale Ethereum. But you may borrow it for Bitcoin, as it would work for any blockchain:

http://afterether.org/blockchain-scalability-by-blockchain-clustering.html

would be very interesting to know what do you think of it
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The solution to Ethereum's scalability problem on: November 09, 2017, 08:56:57 PM
Hi all,

I have created a plan to solve Ethereum's scalability problem, and I would be grateful for you input on this idea:

http://afterether.org/blockchain-scalability-by-blockchain-clustering.html

The document is a draft version, so please forgive any spelling errors, I am a non-native english speaker. (And btw, if somebody wants to help me with identifying spelling errors I can give you some coins. Send me the text hiliting the errors and I will give you 5 coins per error.)

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi all.
We are launching a new cryptocurrency but before we do the announcement we want add more nodes to our network so we are inviting everybody who has a mining rig to mine our currency before the launch. Right now the difficulty is still low and you could take advantage of this to mine some coins before we start advertising campaigns.

Our site is here: http://afterether.org

Feel free to ask any questions.
Thank you.

1)Will give 20 coins of my currency to anybody how adds me to his LinkedIn profile. (If you are a software developer I will add +10 more)
2)Will give 20 coins of my currency to anybody who adds me as a friend on Facebook
3)Will give 20 coins of my currency to anybody who follows me in Twitter

You can earn a total of 60 coins or 70 if you are a software developer.
The budget is 3000 coins , so first 50 people will get it.
Please allow 24 hours for processing.

My currency: http://afterether.org
My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nick-mak-027076151/
My Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/nick.mak.39545
My Twitter profile is: https://twitter.com/afterether

Normally, I wouldn't give away 3,000 coins for this, but I don't use social networks, and the reason I am building it, is that to register my ICO, they ask me for a LinkedIn profile. So I decided to pay for my social image, I don't have time to sit everyday on Facebook and click buttons.

Contact me on Facebook and say you are coming from this ad, and we will manage the transactions for your free coins.
