1  Economy / Economics / Binance Swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ Turmoil, Binance not Safu Anymore on: August 08, 2019, 03:01:08 AM
Three months after a serious security breach was discovered on Binance, when around 7,000 BTC was stolen from the platform, another hilarious incident came along. On Aug. 7, Binance was reportedly swirled into ‘KYC Leak’ turmoil, where a large number of Binance users’ private KYC information, including passport numbers, ID card, credit card number, were live-streamed in a Telegram group named “FIND YOUR BINANCE KYC”.

As of press time, more than 10,000 people have joined the telegram group. Multiple people have posted Binance users’ KYC pictures online. The incident reportedly has sent shock waves in the crypto community and is spreading further ahead. Changpeng Zhao or CZ, Founder and CEO of Binance, rushed to Twitter to calm down its followers at the very earliest, warning people not to fall into the “KYC leak” FUD, they are investigating, and will update the users shortly.

However, the latest response from its top management further agitated the users and caused a backlash from the community, with many claiming to withdraw their funds and deactivate their Binance accounts.

“FUD? Did you saw leaked passports with faces? how you will compensate this? binance is not safu...” said Andrew, a Twitter user.

“How is it FUD? there are literally hundreds of KYC identities on a telegram group free for all to see, containing the word "BINANCE" written by the user for KYC,” another man named Master Chang said.

Till now, it’s still not clear whether users’ information has been leaked or hacked, or otherwise it’s old news of 2018 as CZ claimed.

Whatever the truth is, Binance finds it in a series of troubles since this year, starting from May 7, when 7,000 BTC was compromised from its platform, worth about 41 million dollars at that time. BNB tumbled sharply following the incident, witnessing a decline of around 10% within 24 hours. Additionally, Binance Charity Foundation (BCF), the charity arm of Binance, has recently slid into a donation transparency crisis, where only under $6 million worth of crypto, less than half of the committed amount, could be accounted for on the website.

Plus, many users have complained that Binance IOS app has been down for months which Biance claimed to take serval days to bring it back. According to downdector.com, a leading website which detects the service interruptions and outages for digital firms, the most reported problems on Binance is “log in” and “breakdown” issues.

To trust or not to trust? That is the question for all Binance users. Binance needs to use hard&soft tactics to prove its technology capabilities and its commitment to transparency and security goals.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL BOUNITES AND NEW PROJECTS EVER STOP? on: June 19, 2019, 04:54:02 PM
I don't think that Bounties and startup projects will stop as long as Blockchain Technology continuously adopts by huge companies globally. Blockchain-based Projects have different categories and the concept of those projects needs to develop for the sake of our environment and community around the world. Most of the projects give convenience to its customers worldwide and resolve some major issues faced by our environment. We need blockchain projects that will be truly beneficial to our society.

For Bounty Campaigns, this is one of the effective forms of marketing for startup projects to spread their brand awareness and acquire more users organically. Companies including those who conduct ICOs or IEOs want to penetrate the market and the best components of their marketing strategy would be bounty campaigns. I saw some bounty tasks are highly improved by hiring excellent influencers (either for content creation or youtube vlog) globally.

But the problem today is most projects failed to reach their goals especially its token demand and market price, and also the expectations of its users. In my own perspective, it is very important for a startup project to thoroughly evaluate their project ideas, monetize/fund their project and promote the project on social media channels. And lastly, implement the project in accordance to its roadmap and give regular updates regarding the project development to its community.

Maybe not or maybe yes, we don't know what will happen to the future. As you can see, in the IEO is one the proof that bounty doesn't need it anymore. A strong community, a large volume of trades and a good reputation of exchange can do the all work in a short period of time compared to the bounty but not all of the exchange can do that. Anyway, who knows... Smiley

Not really all of them, but I truly believe that a lot of scammers hiding to ICOs in order to accumulate money becuase it is the easiest way to fool the unaware people they don't what is really happening in ICOs right now. Of course, not all of them there's still a good ICOs with real people behind it and real project concept, like swachhcoin they have a lot partnership and has a real project concept and real people behind their project.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: September 18, 2018, 10:34:16 AM
I prefer to invest in ICO rather than ETH and BTC. I bought some tokens in Swachhcoin, you need to see their project concept and your mind will blow when you read their whitepaper. I don't wanna to invest in BTC because my capital is only 200USD, if I put this in BTC the I can only gain a tiny profit with it. I will give a chance in ETH right now because the price is too low and it is cheap as of today.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: September 18, 2018, 10:25:10 AM
If you haven't sold yet, better to hold your crypto coins until the market will recover. As of now the bear market is still on, you're not the only one who have that much lost in crypto. Keep believing if you have a trust the coin you bought.
7  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: September 17, 2018, 03:15:58 PM
I will not trust that kind of ICO I preferred to invest with well detailed concept and plan. That's why I had chosen Swachhcoin as my first investment in ICO. Their concept is realistic and well planned.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC and Airdrop Token on: September 16, 2018, 07:02:18 PM
I think it is very risky and not so wise to give out your details of kyc anyhow because the rate at which cyber crimes are aggravating is too much. We all need to be security conscious.

Of course it is risky, they can easily use your documents to scam others or use it in to fraud. That's why you need to be careful when we are giving out our IDs/passport and etc. We are in online world which anything is possible.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoin? on: September 16, 2018, 07:00:06 PM
Buying an altcoin is a good move if you have not enough capital. There is an altcoin calling them a "hidden gem" because it has a future but I don't what coin is that, I am still looking for it. If you find that kind of coin you're lucky.

If I am you, I will buy an ETH. I feel there's something good will happen in this coming month.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 14, 2018, 08:00:37 PM
Who are panic sellers to you, those who sell at anytime or those who sell when the value is falling. Everyone has a reason why they sell. Some as little profit that they make on their investment, they sell. It is mostly not right and may contrribute to the fall in price of btc, but it looks more to people as a game and so they will do all it takes not to lose.

I agree, that everyone has a reason why they sell. In my story, I sold my BTC when I am in need to the pay the bills, that was an expected because we ran out of money and that time the BTC is falling down but I don't have a choice. I closed my eyes when I sold my btc. Its hurt!

And lastly, My worst experienced in panic selling when someone told the dev is running and I immediately sold all of my tokens. After a few minutes, I realize to go in telegram to gather a fact and boom the community is taking control over the token. I tried to buy back but I got only 65% of what I sold.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TrustLogics : Blockchain For Trusted And Secured Professional Data on: June 06, 2018, 09:08:13 AM
Times are different and knowing the advantages and disadvantages of online recruitment is key. Instead of receiving a pile of printed resumes at the concierge desk of the company where you work, now here's Trust Logics via email and online recruitment has a new platforms.
Their Blockchain Technology is increasingly advancing to help candidates and companies connect.

Aside from reducing the fee Trustlogics is a eco-friendly, paperless is better than throwing resumes into the trash bin.
And most of the time the fear of employers is a fee when you post a job in online career site having this project concept is a breakthrough.
Using this kind of service is the key to relieve all worries of the employers looking for the right applicants.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: March 16, 2018, 02:19:10 PM
Ethereum is one of my favorite altcoins, it is simple because it can be issued a contract. And best altcoins to invest with for a long term goal. A lot of ICOs is under ethereum smart contract.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market status on: March 16, 2018, 02:06:43 PM
Last time I read the news it is because the SEC, I don't know right now if its the same reason why the in the dip. Maybe there's a lot FUDs? As of now we need to wait is the next move of bitcoin. Just hold for the mean time.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: March 16, 2018, 01:45:16 PM
Everyone is afraid of being hack by someone including me. That's why we need to be carefull of doing transaction online. If you are arrogant and you can't protect the wealth that you have, you will lose your money.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: March 16, 2018, 01:27:14 PM
Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.
For me even if bitcoin did not supported by goverment I can say its legal because of this is the only way that people can make a huge income by participating forum activities.

I thought you don't have any idea how bitcoin works. It is not like a bounty all about. It is the innovation of our generations. Bitcoin is legal even in other countries. You can make a moeny in trading not only here.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why is the crypto market down day after day? on: March 14, 2018, 04:38:55 PM
Whenever I check coinmarketcap, everything is in red:

I don't see any FUD, why is this happening?

You can check the price of Bitcoin. That is the reason why the price of altcoins always in red. Altcoin is depending in bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin is down the price of altcoins is down also. When it is up, of course the altcoins will rise.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Agrees with Me? on: March 14, 2018, 04:13:25 PM
So I started noticing a pattern.
Everytime the market goes to the moon, the down trend lasts for a several weeks. Meaning, only when Bitcoin it's going to be at it's highest, the altcoins are going to be at the lowest point.
Then, the money from Bitcoin will start going to the Altcoins, making them going up even more.

Have you noticed the same thing?

I've been noticing this several times, this is absolutely true because altcoins depends on the move bitcoin. As you can see today the price of altcoin keep falling down like what happening to bitcoin today.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: March 14, 2018, 03:09:11 PM
No it's not, it is because Ripple is not decentralized. The goal of cryptocurrency is the decentralization like bitcoin doing right now, there's no government or institution that can control the price itself. The last year pump is all HYPE.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: March 13, 2018, 02:07:59 PM
Product is one is the of key for the success of ICOs. Even though the TGE is success. ICO projects must need to deliver their promise or else they will die sooner. They will lose the trust and interest of their investors if they fail to produce the product.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: March 13, 2018, 01:50:01 PM
In crypto currency there's no impossible thing, only the mind is our limitation. Yes of course $5000 USD mark it is not impossible. ETH has a very huge potential specially in contract creation as we can see, theres so many ICOs under the ethereum contract. They use to support eth compare to other one.
