Thanks for the honesty / links folks!  I suspected it was something like that when I couldn't even find my GPU on a bit list (different from what was posted here).

I normally go ATI but let the guy at the shop where I got the parts for the build talk me into an NVidia.

Also, if you guys want a real laugh, after a couple of weeks of nearly 24/7 mining I have ... wait for it ... 0.0055 BTC!!  A few more hundred years of this and I can take a few days off of work!

Anyhow, thanks again and I'll see about getting a "real" card.

Hello!  Newbie here.  I started with GUIminer and noticed that after several days I'm only averaging 10Mh/s.

After some reading switched to cgminer but am still averaging roughly the same.

I'm using one worker right now to test things out and connecting to:

http://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333

I have an NV GT 520, supports OpenCL, etc.

From what I've seen in the forums, 10 Mh/s is uber slow...so what am I doing wrong? This is my gaming computer so it's rarely used and I'd like to make it a dedicated miner.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to improve my speed?  In particular, the questions I have are:

* What address should I be connecting to for mining?
* Should I be running more than one worker?
* Are there any flags I should use with CGMiner?

Thanks!!
