1  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: KNC Miner [NEPTUNE 3000GHS] GROUP BUY ALL SOLDOUT on: July 27, 2014, 02:39:13 AM
Late to game: I didn't receive my refund and I have been out of pocket for the past couple months traveling. Any hope to seeing my refund?

I think the Neptunes are going to stall out for a while longer and agree that there are better options out there while difficulty levels go up. I suffered the same thing with the Jupiters. I vote for a refund. I had 3 shares @ BTC1.5

Thanks!

Last payment was 31-Jan and I am well short of my original investment. Is there any chance in hell to get my original investment back? Why would you ship the gear from Sweden to Canada when it didn't even pay for itself? Sell the gear back and split the amongst the group or get some one to buy it. This GB was a disaster, what are you going to do with the Jupiters? Bury it in the frozen tundra like our original investment? This is maddening!  Angry

It looks like due the power reduction from their first test units means they are reworking the batches to conform to this improved power consumption. Plus they are reworking their hosting options. Let's ensure we are getting the hosting as Jupiter's were a mess and are not very lenient when you change your mind.

Looks like it is very soon now.

He sent us an email during the offer period, on July 3rd, stating that he was in Canada during Canada Day. I believe it is in western Canada due to the times he sent the emails. This should help any sponsorship of meeting him, if needed, for any North American volunteers. The only reason I confirmed it was that I work for small fiber optic carrier that has colo facilities in New Jersey, Halifax, Dublin, Ireland and Manchester, U.K. if hosting this GB would be a viable option versus @ KNC in Stockholm. With these results, I haven't pursue it further. I unfortunately cannot assist until mid-February as I am on business trips until then, but I am willing to help with the sponsorship. There is also no response on his own site, I am watching and waiting.  Huh

With two dividend payments still missing, I am not sure looking to "dispose" of the Jupiter's should be an option while still waiting on the new equipment still 6-10 weeks away. We need an updated spreadsheet, with correct maths and DATES of the occurrences and the difficulty level at each date. I still think the Jupiters still have at least another few months of usable life left. I am also keenly interested in the exact payment due to have the KNCs hosted there versus having them hosted somewhere else. (i.e. neutral data center, facility with techs). Is it possible to get more yield out versus hosting in Stockholm? Just an inquiry... What are the exact fees with description to date and how much was taken out per share to facilitate those fees? We just started this extracting and now it is already done?

 Huh  Huh  Huh

Do you have a scheduled time for dividend payments or is it a very manual process which takes time? I am guessing we were expecting something ~7 days. Is there an updated spreadsheet we can turn to?

Many Thanks!

The KNC site states the first Jupiter will be shipped in September. I know we are in early but do we have an idea of how they will be released. I hope it is not similar to BFL where they send tiny batches (i.e. 2-3/week) what is the expected delivery date if #1 say mid-Sept?

I have data center space available for BTC mining/ WebHosting, AWS Direct Connect/ Cloud Hosting. Our company owns and operates full fiber optic network across North America/ Europe/ AsiaPac. Our Data Center space is in a neutral facility and can provide IP transit, Ethernet and typical Tier II colo. (Security, Internet Access, remote hands, etc).

I am on WeMine and give-me-ltc. Give-me is pretty good but I keep dropping on it. WeMine fees takes me sometime to get to the same level but has better stats.

What would be the best coin to mine with GPU? LTC is petering out as Difficulty is skyrocketing.

I got LTC mining going on a 7970 for a month and have accumulated 30 LTC with several stops and starts. Just bought a 2nd 7970, should I go to NMC or keep chugging along at LTC?

Started mining LTC a month ago but don't know if it still worth it. Great hobby but moving beyond 2 GPUs is getting expensive.
