This coin's been on an artificial pump since the 4th (started having a noticeable effect around the 8th). The price is going to drop once $30k+ in orders disappear from the buy list (they pop on and off as needed to manipulate), and that's going to happen whenever the manipulator(s) get enough coins at a high enough price to dump into.

Their algorithm didn't work during this fake pump. It just let some whale(s) rake up the buy wall and push everyone above them, and didn't change the rates once. Until a day or so ago. If it does nothing during this price drop then it will actually be doing its job (ironically).
This current MNX price is not cheap; it's damn near doubled in the last 19 days (with a 50% gain in the last 8 days). This is where you buy in if you don't care about being stuck with high buys because you're looking into a very long-term investment.

Just rename or move the wallet.dat in the wallet's install directory before running the wallet program. This will make the wallet software generate a new wallet.dat file.
If you lost the wallet password, but have the private key for the wallet addy that has that 0.02MNX, you can recover it into your new wallet.dat file.

Is that why $32k+ USD flooded into the buy orders to chase people up the list starting around the 4th?
I already figured (and posted way too many times) that it was someone pumping the list, most likely to dump at a stupid-high price. But is it because people are wanting to exit with max gains to go into XRP?

The price is artificially inflated due to manipulation. Don't put too much faith in this being the actual price.

And the 1.6k'ish coin pressure returns to try making a save on that pullback. Let's see if someone dumps into the manipulators and ends their artificial pumping, or if they'll recover their influence and continue the push back to (and past) BTC0.0022 (with some spikes up to BTC0.0024).
My speculation is that this was the bounce and it's on its way down again shortly.

I unintentionally sold nearly 200 coins I had posted in that 19-20 range, back on the 4th'ish. Can't complain. Re-entered pretty effing low. Exited just as high. I didn't end up sticking around for the .002, because I assumed my greed would roadblock me from getting the summit. But it went a couple points higher, even after that. Ah well.

That would require a daily growth of $4.50, starting from $30, to achieve $5000 by '21.
I'll save the maths for someone else, but I don't think that could be achieved with a maxed daily growth of +5% under volatility control (let alone if they're pegging the control to weekly volatility) combined with the annual 42.7% intended growth to the coin's base value.

I wouldn't mind dropping the rest of my coins on a $60 summit, but keep in mind that the last time it happened a lot of people were burned when they were left with some high buys. I think a lot of lessons were learned and people are cautious about buying into such a pump again.
I'd be surprised if it reaches $40, given that nearly all of this pump is artificial from what seems to be a singular entity (or maybe two working together) that has been over-inflating buy pressure for about 8 days now. There's actually only about 700-800 coins' worth of organic buy pressure leading all the way back down to BTC0.00145'ish.

I'm all but entirely exited at this point, myself. I've got a small pile locked in parking right now, but I might dump it soon. There's next to no organic buy pressure going all the way back to the 0.0012-0.0014 range. One good dump will FUD this thing right back into the ground; and I doubt the manipulators will want to throw up their buy walls into that frenzy, at the risk of holding high buys.

However, if the rates haven't been changed to encourage selling at this point, then don't expect them to anytime soon. At this rate, their direct intervening will probably happen before major parking rate changes (which won't be an option until at least Feb 1st, from my understanding).
