IMO the way forward for bitcoin is that it replaces fiat cash. Bitcoin will be the universal money, people will not be needing to exchange their nearby cash right into a foreign currency every time they transfer to an additional country. In this way, buying and selling of fiat cash won't be required anymore because we all have a common money which has a really stable worth.
