1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you believe Bitcoin is unstoppable? on: November 19, 2017, 01:22:38 AM
Yes, sort of.

Let's presume Bitcoin succeeds  that it becomes the world primary  currency.

At that point, it will necessarily be far more stable than today like the price of bread or beer won't change drastically from day to day but as the economy grows the technology and productivity , the prices of goods, in general, will gradually fall, which is just another way to say bitcoin will continue to become more valuable over time.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: November 19, 2017, 01:11:38 AM
As a business owner, I couldn’t do what I do today without the Internet,My team and I would be forced to live in a big market. Consequently, I’d have less access to the outdoors, no access to the global talent I currently employ, and a narrower perspective.”

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 06:53:30 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency and also called crypto-currency that is not backed by any country's central bank or government. Bitcoins can be traded for goods or services with vendors who accept Bitcoins as payment.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: November 18, 2017, 06:46:11 PM
Price fluctuations in the Bitcoin spot rate on the Bitcoin exchanges is driven by many factors. Bitcoin’s volatility at the present makes it a somewhat unclear store of value, but it promises nearly frictionless value transfer.
Little option value to large holders of the currency, Bitcoin volatility is also to an extent driven by holders of large proportions of the total outstanding float of the currency.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: November 18, 2017, 04:59:43 PM
I put about 10% of my net worth in Bitcoin, but it has appreciated to become much more than 10%. I'm reluctant to trim any of my best performing asset
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: November 17, 2017, 04:11:36 PM
My idea of success in life can seem rather dull to those whose goals are to have money and power. I do not dream of a profitable job in an office, of expensive cars, luxurious restaurants or brilliant dresses. I dream of a job in a place where I have freedom to express my ideas and develop them without feeling like a slave under the will of a greedy boss. I need a salary not too high but enough to make a moderate living.
10  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: November 17, 2017, 03:53:41 PM
Bitcoin usage is on the rise in Asia, and the Philippines is no exception to this.

Earlier this month, both MetroDeal and CashCashPinoy  the country’s top two daily deal sites started accepting bitcoin payments. This is one more payment option for customers, who are now not just limited to credit card and ATM payments. The cart check-out process is basically the same as other payment methods. Once payment is sent, the product or voucher will be released for delivery.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin legal worldwide? on: November 17, 2017, 03:38:53 PM
The legality of bitcoin depends on who you are, and what you’re doing with it.

There are three main categories of bitcoin stakeholder. Someone may fall under more than one of these categories, and each category has its own legal considerations
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy or Dictator ship ? on: November 17, 2017, 03:29:25 PM
I, hereby, am not advocating for dictatorship. But what I am saying is that we always need a leader, able leader who believes in people and not just revenge.Democracy has many faults that's true. But ultimately we have the choice.

We can choose anyone of our choice. It may not involve direct decision making, but it certainly involves choosing the right person. We can express our displeasure over matters and the elected representatives are bound to hear us, even if we are a minority.
But in a dictatorship we don't have a choice. And more often than not, it is a majority and authoritarian rule. Often minorities live in fear or are forced to do like the majority. It is also often hereditary and no other person is allowed to be a part of the government unless you are an accomplish.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: November 16, 2017, 08:45:03 PM
Without money anyone could freely trade anything. That has advantages and disadvantages and is not as good as it sounds. The problem is anyone could take anything at anytime, leaving other people with nothing to give or take. This is why money was created. Of course the government could create laws to limit what you could take in the way of food, clothes etc. But more laws aren’t what we all need. That would just be another currency.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: November 16, 2017, 04:46:02 PM
Its just that morality is a group of concepts and beliefs by which an individual determines whether his or her actions are right or wrong.  these concepts and beliefs that are commonly the focus of arguments for and against the issue. Because everyone is brought up to believe and hold valuable different things, it is most difficult to say in moral terms what is right and what is wrong. The determination of what is right and wrong is what we rely on our legal system to provide, since often, we cannot agree in whole, in moral terms. Some states have already addressed the legal issue of same-sex marriage and others have not.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 04:38:09 PM
The saying “our children are our future” holds a lot of merit in every meaning. Especially when Bitcoin enthusiasts with a new breeding ground to spur on blockchain development.
considering the connection between young children and electronic devices that seems to become a norm more than an exception these days. Such a paradigm shift could provide
Keeping in mind these children have either a tablet or laptop at their disposal  in most cases that is there is no better time than now to focus Bitcoin related educational efforts on this demographic. Coding is all about having fun, and figuring out how things work while spurring a new wave of development at the exact same time.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Signature Campaigns? on: November 16, 2017, 03:55:35 PM
Signature campaign Look at it as a form of advertisement without the need to create a fancy image.  By advertising a certain coin, service or platform in your forum signature, that message will be visible to anyone browsing the same topics as the ones you posted in.  This is also why all forum signatures require you to post a minimum number of posts on a weekly/monthly basis.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: November 15, 2017, 02:26:52 PM
You better must know the people behind them.

It is critical to know the nature of the company and the teams behind ICOs. Most of the companies are newly incorporated, but many founders have been around in their respective industries. It is possible to review profiles and search for news and mentions in their prior projects and efforts and also Nitpicking the white paper could prove useful in revealing the details of how their solutions work and what need areas they will be addressing.
while bitcoin is fairly welcomed in many parts of the world, there are few countries which are wary of bitcoin because of its volatility, decentralized nature, perceived threat to the current monetary system, and link to illicit activities like drug dealing and money laundering. Some of these nations have outright banned the digital currency while others have tried to cut off any support from the banking and financial system essential for its trading and usage.
There are countries I know that has banned the btc are vietnam, iceland, bangladesh and india. Because they think btc is not a legitimate payment method.
Foreign exchange trading with btc is banned in those countries as the cryptocurrency is not compatible with the countries foreign exchange act.
