1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: EARN MONEY ON YOUR BITCOIN ATM RECEIPTS on: September 12, 2018, 07:52:51 AM
I am doing a marketing research.

I want to pay $1 for each scan of printed receipt from Bitcoin ATM.
PM me your scans together with your address for payout.

Printed receipt must match the following conditions:
1. The date should be starting 1st of March 2018.
2. The purchased crypto should be Bitcoin.
3. The purchase should be made using Bitcoin ATM manufactured by Lamassu, General Bytes, Genesis Coin (locations can be found on www.coinatmradar.com).
4. Purchase should be made in these countries: US, Mexico, Austria, Australia, Singapore, South Korea.
5. Printer receipts should be verifiable, ie I will track them down in blockchain by amount and date.

Thank you and God bless!

There's new research for crypto ATMs, but i doubt that it might be usefull for you.

The factors are not complete, are you asking us to list the factors or you're telling us what the factors are.

Just to add more factors which you think are important

I agree this is very serious news and we are all waiting for approval or positive news! I would still add this to the legalization of the crypto market and new projects in India! the meeting will be held in September and the controlling bodies - will have to give their answer and a positive result!

There will not be ETF approval becouse of number of reasons. One is that it's not safe to store keys

Today I learned about the statistics, according to which 23% of the world's companies invest more than 10 billion in blockchain and it will be in 2019.

I think next blockchain hype wave will be in 2020

I'm trying to figure out 5 factors that may have a crucial impact on Bitcoin in 2018-2019
Already got 3 of them, what should I add in 4,5 ?
why would you need 5 factors anyways? are you trying to write some silly clickbait article on some website and then advertise it here?
there is only 1 factor which is important in the long run and that is adoption and it is growing. all the rest of them are only short term noise.

Quote
1. IPO Bitmain fin. results
2. One of the ETFs approved by SEC
3. China unban cryptocurrency trading
1. a mining company having an IPO has nothing to do with bitcoin price.
2. as i said this is only short term noise. in the long run an ETF is not going to change anything for bitcoin adoption and its long term price. not to mention that ETF is limited to one  country while bitcoin is global. it is not even direct investment in bitcoin!
3. China never banned cryptocurrency trading to want to unban it now! they banned shady exchanges.

Trade in crypto currency for Chinese citizens was not formally banned, but there were practically no legitimate ways for buying and selling. Cryptocurrencies are only exist by operating in a grey area.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer? on: August 21, 2018, 04:37:36 AM
It is a very difficult problem and it is unknown whether the developers will be able to solve it.Bitcoin is decentralized, and this is its main feature.Yes, the Commission is quite high..maybe someday the situation will change, but for now you need to look for alternatives.

I can use bitcoin as settlement network easily no matter how it's decentralized
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 19, 2018, 06:06:41 AM
Yes, most shitcoins which are come from ICOs are useless Smiley
Most of the shitcoins will eventually be de-listed as soon as the hype dies down, we see a lot of ICOs falling into this category, losing over 90 percent of their value in less than 4 months after hiting exchange

it would be a bright future, but its unlikely. right now we have only ONE big exchange that listing projects according to their code base (and volume). literally every other one will list ANYTHING that will pay listing fee
Do you mean "ONE big exchange" not take fees to list coins/tokens (exept some small service charges) ?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer? on: August 19, 2018, 05:58:57 AM
Given that it runs on a decentralized system, it will not be possible to achieve that. It will be better to look for other alternatives.

What alternatives are decetralized with theirs nods and have 51% attack high resistance?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer? on: August 19, 2018, 05:56:54 AM
Only because it is not on a centralized market, rather runs on a decentralized system instead, it cannot be that.

If I'll do the protocol (app) without its own ledger, it could agragate data and write it once or twice a day into Bitcoin ledger.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer? on: August 19, 2018, 05:52:36 AM
...Bitcoin sometimes has high fees and requires longer time to transfer....

I'm talking about settlement layer. It means that not each transaction must be immediately written into Bitcoin ledger!

Because Bitcoin is not centralized, no one can decide that not even the developers. Bitcoin is slow, sometimes too much slow.

It also has some high fees sometimes, but that's not an excuse for any change like making it a settlement layer, simply put

You can never decide what to do with Bitcoin's code, that's the whole point of being decentralized, however you can use

Lightning network as the fast protocol and use Bitcoin as a settlement layer.

I mean, how to motivate more teams to develop various fast and useful protocols  (Iot, scoial apps, etc) which will use Bitcoin as settlement layer? Usually teams are motivated by issuing their own coin/token and sell it to investors (shitty ICO model).
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer? on: August 14, 2018, 04:58:59 AM
Speaking about how slow Bitcoin is. Why Bitcoin can't be just settlement layer for different fast protocols without legers? What will drive developers to code for those various "without own ledger" protocols in this case ?

I believe there is only one type and thats Tier 1 to infinity and all of them is filled with bitcoin only. There is no other tier because it is just about the bitcoin and no other coins really. I believe in bitcoin a lot because its one of its kind and frankly 99% people are 100% holding some amount of bitcoin all the time. This means bitcoin receives its great support from small and big investors all the time and thus becomes the most traded as well as popular coin of all time. You might have created this list out of enthusiasm but there is only one exciting coin and its bitcoin.

I know that Bitcoin stands far away from others. But we must give some other coins a chance to be something interesting to invest in Smiley

How about tokens created by messengers, loyalty platforms, crypto echanges and other real working businesses? Should I put them in Tier 3 together with Ripple?
[/quote]

I think Binance Coin (BNB) and Huobi Token (HT) have the potential to increase in value over time because they will always be supported by the great exchanges they represent. I'm not sure about the others though. Speaking of Telegram's Gram, for example, which is probably the most promising token created by messengers, I wouldn't say they are safe to invest in right now. Firstly, the public sale was canceled and if you see a site selling GRAM they are most likely scammers. Secondly, I read that the unofficial sales, which are going on right now can complicate listing it on exchanges or setting a post-ICO price. In short, I would put Binance Coin (BNB) and Huobi Token (HT) in the Tier 3, but I'm not sure about the others.

TON (telergam) are lagging behind in their roadmap. They just released "Telergam passport" feature only.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 12, 2018, 05:04:33 AM
I defined eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. What you think about it?

Tokens Tiers.

Tier 1: Bitcoin & Ethereum
Tier 2: Tokens representing real crypto platforms (Cardano, IoTA, Waves, ...)
Tier 3: Tokens backed by real business (Ripple)
Tier 4: Tokens with narrow specialization like payments, anonymity, etc. (Monero, Zcash... )
Tier 5: Growtech forks (Neo, Stellar,...)
Tier 6: Miners' forks (Bitcoin cash,...)
Tier 7: Hyped Tokens
Tier 8: Useless shitcoins

Not only Ripple is backed by real business, and sometimes useless sh*tcoins are hyped too, but I agree with you in general. Indeed, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the most promising ones, and tokens like Cardano and IOTA, although they are falling right now like all others, will most likely be doing good in the future since they are representing unique and useful platforms. And, like you, I too think that miners' forks will hardly have a future in the long term, so, they are rightfully placed on the 6th tier.

How about tokens created by messengers, loyalty platforms, crypto echanges and other real working businesses? Should I put them in Tier 3 together with Ripple?

The determination of Eight basic levels! a real thinking job you did. In here it would be better if you name the first level Bitcoin and Ethereum into a word. Let us discuss how we can differentiate one from another.
Yes, I will do it
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 11, 2018, 11:18:47 AM
This post will be highly useful for the newbies because this has covered the scenario of the coin very well. Not only for the newbies but even for the people in the forum who are stuck in explaining the situation of the coin.
Well, don't you think that there's following Tiers only?
Tier 1: BITCOIN
Tier 2: ALTCOIN (Top ten after Bitcoin)
Tier 3: Quick cash tokens
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 11, 2018, 11:16:41 AM
Actually there are many coins in this market that are operating in this market. There are more than 1600 coins that are operating in this market. You have given a very few but your chronology is good. I think you should add more.

For most of them I've got the Tier 8
But you're right, now i'm finishing info portal where more coins will be set to Tiers
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 11, 2018, 08:09:22 AM
