Hey guys I've been seeing this behaviour for a while now but not sure what it means. Why do some entries in the console have a '>' in front of it like this, and others don't?

I have noticed that the price in CoinExchange is 2 satoshis, compared with Yobit.
Below the statistics of Coinmarketcap I can see the following: Price/Volume Excluded - Outlier Detected

Anyway I bought in CoinExchange, to test if he lets me do it and that's how it was.
Does anyone have a similar experience?

The entire coinmarketcap graph is a bit off now with it marking some outliers incorrectly. YoBit has been on the wrong chain and is NOT tradeable. We have reached out to the YoBit team multiple times over the past months, but they do not respond to our request to upgrade their wallet to the correct chain. Please be careful and don't send B3 coins to YoBit, it will not work until their team will update the wallet.

Hey guys, considering setting up a Zen full node if the rewards are acceptable but I can't find how many nodes are active atm and how many ZEN that would approximately provide me per day. Does anyone have a link with more information? Thanks
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ZENCASH pool] zhash.pro on: January 03, 2018, 12:56:44 AM
Unlucky is right.  I've done 2 zen in the last 24 hours.  Usually near 3. Trying to load them up while ZEN is still under the radar.

Yeah seems so.. Running 2000+ sols/s and looks like I'll only be getting 0.2 ZEN today. Bad couple days for sure!! Sad
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GIGABYTE GA-H110-D3A Not Detecting All GPUs - Read all Google Search Articles on: January 02, 2018, 09:50:41 PM
Yes.  I have a SATA cable powering the riser and a direct VGA 6 pin to the GPU.  Also all fans spin during bootup, but only 5 are detected when the OS comes around (SMOS).  Also I have 2 molexes going into the motherboard for additional PCIE powering.  I have also tried directly powering the riser with a 6 pin vga power cable.
I see that at max I am only using around 580W.

Do you think it could be the OS not detecting 1?  Would it be worth my trying to plug 1 card in directly to the motherboard?

Sounds like riser issue. Out of every 6 risers I order at least 1 is dead. Swap it out with another riser?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GIGABYTE GA-H110-D3A Not Detecting All GPUs - Read all Google Search Articles on: January 02, 2018, 06:09:36 AM
I tried swapping that riser, and it works in a different port.  In fact I've tried swapping all the riser components and gpu itself and everything works in other slots.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

Just making sure here - you have a power cable going into the riser, and you have a power cable going into the top of each GPU, right? Made that rookie mistake when I started lol.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Differences between nVidia 1070 GPU variants on: January 02, 2018, 05:51:01 AM
I have 1070 TI's so take this with a grain of salt but will do my best.

does it really matter that much? Are 1070 variants that different from one another in heat distribution, overclocking, etc?
I have a mix of Gigabyte, Asus and MSI 1070 TI's. They all perform very close to each other, about 500-510 sols/s each on equihash. I overclocked them the same. Heat distribution in my experience depends more of the design of the fans, my Gigabyte 2 fan cards run at 42 Celsius at 65% fan speed, while my single fan Asus Aero hits 59 degrees Celsius with the same fan speed. In the future I won't get single fan cards again, only dual fan because the cooling is definitely superior. Also, when 1 fan breaks the card will still continue to work because it has a backup fan whereas the single fan ones will overhead and stop.

Can I order another 8 1070s of any brand/model that is more available and I'll generally be happy, mining-wise?
In my experience, yes. I try to stick to 1 model (so only 1070 for example) but I've heard of many people mixing and matching models, even brands (AMD vs Nvidia) sometimes!

Is there any way to determine if I have Micron memory in Linux? Yes, I know about GPU-Z on Windows.
It really only matters for ETH I've heard so I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

Is there any way to upgrade the 1070 bios in Linux?
Don't think it's necessary for Nvidia cards, only AMD

How do I mine NeoScrypt coins with SMos? I don't see it in the list of available miners. Is it not possible?

What about Lyra2REV?

Thanks for the OS, I love it so far!

Thanks. Do I get a bonus payout when my rig finds a block, and if so, what would that bonus look like? New at this Smiley

nope

So why is that number there, why would I care about it? Or is it more of an FYI saying "if you solo mine it'll take you a while before you find a block"?

by implementing the fmn before block 80 k you broke your promise and stole b3 from the stakers dont try to spin it your way this isnt

discord where you can ban people who dont agree with you your team scammed those coins just be a man and admit the obvious

Changing the roadmap to address potential disastrous previously unseen consequences is very far away from 'stole b3 from stakers'. Please look past your own immediate interest and take a high level viewpoint. The changes that were made drastically reduced the inflation of the coin, something that was much needed or the project would have ended up with a total supply multiple times larger than what we are now. The B3 team made the right choice that was needed to preserve the long term health of the project and therefore the investment of all investors.

Thank you, I rebooted the rig and reloaded the miner a couple times already but no difference. I'm also not using --pec, as I was trying to mimic what Vosk was doing to see if i could get similar results, still hovering around 450-460 weird enough.

hey, my 1070ti is doing about 530 sol/s on PL 90 lelvel
they are palits duals, core is +150, mem is + 300
the trick here is to use mvidia inspector and turn P2 - off
that will allow you to get more hashrate

That's really impressive! I don't think I can run Nvidia inspector on SimpleMining OS though, can I?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are 1070 TI's the next best GPU for mining? 4.7 sols per watt on: December 19, 2017, 03:58:11 AM
Zotac Mini in the 1070ti or 1080 models (I don't have their 1070 mini and I have severe worry issues about cooling on the 1080 ti model) both work quite well - but I have no idea if the fans are ball-bearing so I'm not buying any more.

1080 is a little marginal on cooling if you push it but better than the blower-type cards by a nose, I've never pushed the 1070 ti version but it should be a tossup on cooling with the 1080 model given the identical TDP.

I just saw a VoskCoin video where his 6 * Zotac 1080 mini manage 3,000 sols (500 sols each). Does this seem a bit low compared to a 1070ti?

DSTM makes a big difference in pushing these numbers further

Speaking of my latest 1070 TI must have different memory than the one I had to sample because my latest batch is not performing as well

currently have it at 200 core 700 mem and 120 watts on DSTM pushing about 4 sols per watt

Hey mate any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've put 200 core 700 mem 120 watts on all 3 my Gagabyte 1070 TI's on SMOS but all three are hovering around 450 sols only?

I believe the 450 range is what they run out with stock settings. When I first started using SMOS a week ago it was almost like the OC settings I was putting in were not taking, then all of a sudden they started working. I was stuck around 440-450. Then I did a reboot for the who knows what time and it jumped to the 500-510 range on 200/750 if I'm not mistaken.

Personally I'm going to moving away from SMOS as I've had nothing but issues with little help on solving them. Just haven't researched nvOC enough to be comfortable with it. Currently I'm mining just fine with the SMOS installed however it says my rig is offline through their dashboard, which is cool, cause I'm just using their os without paying their fee right now since I cannot get much help from the dev.

Hi guys. What about staking with two same wallets on two different pc. I set up two same wallets on two different pcs and its staking on  both pcs
will it be faster or ..Huh??

By far the fastest to stake in the pool as others have said too. Staking by yourself is rather slow and every day you don't get a stake you technically "lose out" on compound interest that you could have gotten in a pool.
