1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fiat withdrawals without ID? Still possible somewhere? on: February 07, 2018, 09:57:55 AM

Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated.

I think I went through like 10-15 different exchanges and none of them allows non ID fiat withdrawals, unsuprisingly.

Websites like localbitcoin are a nice thing, meeting in person could be something to consider but i would never trade p2p online, too risky.

But on that occasion I’m looking for something not-scammy but online, I will be needing to do deposits/withdrawals quite often and won’t be bothered to meet with someone every single time.

Samarkand, thanks for mentioning bitstamp. They do require ID and address verification but no selfie, and the website itself looks all right with the team and address details, unlike many others. Based in UK as well not on Bermudas etc.

I think I’ll stick with them.

Good investing folks!  Grin

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Fiat withdrawals without ID? Still possible somewhere? on: February 05, 2018, 11:14:54 AM
Hi,

I'm looking to withdraw some $$$ to a bank account.

Bitfinex want me to upload a selfie with my ID in hand (!), I prefer to send these monies to charity rather than let my photo be available online after another hack.

Or eventually which exchange allow withdrawals with less possible verification? Like ID only maybe?

I'm not a gangster trying to launder money, just don't like the idea of uploading my ID to a anonymous website really.

Thanks

Ok, so I read a lot of whitepapers and this one is one of the better ones. But i feel like the coin is so excpensive now because it already went up so much. I am looking for the best point to begin on EOS. I have $150 to spend now. Will it makes sense to choose now for EOS?
I have binance acount and i see that the price there is nice compaired with the other exchanges! Any good advise?

Technology is already superior to ethereum and its still in early stage.

Good team of Dev’s with proven achievements (previous projects), plus here everything is running ahead of scheldue

Great financial support from block.one and partners, not many projects have that much funding available and that’s just the start.

Decent sized community

IMHO there is potential for top3 finish at the end of the year, but make your own research before putting any funds in even if its a mere $150

BTW, when is Dawn 3.0?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: January 24, 2018, 08:32:59 AM

This is Huge news that had little to no impact on the price action today. This is actually a good thing and Brocks tweet about EOS not being an investment cooled things down. I would much rather see slow organic growth than pumps and dumps.

Mike Novogratz is a huge player in the blockchain space and I am happy that he is onboard. You know if he is for a project you are on the right track. My money follows the smart money of others

Actually it did have a small impact as we were supposed to go a bit lower today and prepare for a major launch. Just to give an example when Power Ledger announced a 5m deal with Australian Government price went up 5 times in a matter of 10 days. The deal with Novogratz alone is 325 million. My last prediction about EOS in btc terms looking only at the chart, was at 0.0021btc until 26 Jan. while it is holding now at 0.0012.
I might have to add a long prediction to 0.012btc (x10) by the end of June, for this reason alone. I haven't seen a coin attract this capital levels since Ethereum.

News had a small impact on the price because of the hype, have you seen yesterday tweets / posts?
People were hoping that the likes of Apple or Samsung will be announced as a investor!!

When I saw that i was pretty sure price will go down as it wasn't realistic at all, but thankfully EOS is very strong as it could easilly drop -10% because of the 'dissapointment'... I see great things to come, hopefully whole crypto market isnt going to collapse because that could be the only reason for the project to fail.

Great investor, like someone mentioned our money is where the smart money is.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Not-well-known yet privacy coins? on: January 17, 2018, 02:45:58 PM

Hi guys,

As above, do you know any promising privacy coins?

Not Monero's or Dash'es...but ones with fairly low market cap, which didn't skyrocket yet.

Good investing folks!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN ICO+Bounty] [REA] REALISTO - Real Estate Investing For Everyone, Everywhere on: December 19, 2017, 09:47:21 AM

Thank you for your comment.

When we launched the ico most of the tokens/coins where less than half the price they are now (btc at 5000, eth at 300 and ltc at 50) so the early contributors „paid“ less than the current ones in a mathematical sense but we still understand the feeling of beeing an early backer.

First of all we spent 400,000 USD on marketing which came from our own initial investment. Since the ICO industry skyrocketed since June (where we initially planned the ICO) you can also imagine that the prices for advertisments skyrocketed. In fact the prices went up x10 since June which is crazy. So it is not a lack of marketing funds nor were the funds spent in the wrong place.

Please consider that the Bonus tokens now offered ( 50 % for 150,000 REA) come directly from the Teamtoken pool. Everyone (also the first day investors) will benefit if there are more funds raised.

We also consider the idea of stretching the ICO. The problem ist that we would need massive marketing. Right now we feel that it would be unfair to take marketing funds from the amount raised as this money is supposed to go into the project.

Thank you for explanation.

400k USD seems a decent figure, but if you look at how much money did it bring it counts up to about 4k from 1k spent on advertising. Thanks not impressive but as you said, if the prices skyrocketed (which is something quite easy to believe looking at the current hype) that might be understandable.

You are doing it very right with all the incentives, almost 800k gained since they started. Definitely you shouldn't take the funds for marketing from amount raised. I would say some more incentives, I dont know i.e. extra 1000REA for one random person each extended ICO week (3 weeks only)?
You are ruining your pot obviously - but as you said, everyone will benefit from increased funds pool, including yourself.

In my opinion 2mln $ is miniumum to at least get started, it should get better (and easier to get funds/partners) once everything is LIVE and working well.

btw when will that 2500 rea lottery take place?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN ICO+Bounty] [REA] REALISTO - Real Estate Investing For Everyone, Everywhere on: December 18, 2017, 12:18:31 PM

Scam ICO’s are getting millions $$$ but here we struggle to get 2mln.

Clearly this one doesn’t get the attention it deserves. And clearly something went wrong here.

Is it the lack of marketing funds? Or these fund were wrongly distributed? Or head of marketing is simply not good enough for the job?

Even if you google 'real estate ico', realisto is nowhere to be found, and website positioning are basics...

You are now trying to help with some incentives, which is a good thing. That 2500 rea lottery thing is a great idea, but the 50% bonus offer...

Why last minute buyers can get better bonus than very first, pre-ico ‘investors’? It doesn’t seem fair to pre-ico participants who had just 30%.

Project seems great and it does have potential, but because of the above I would withdraw my funds if I had a chance.

I think now the best idea would be to extend the ico for a few a 2-3 weeks, but not longer than that. Followed by a short but intensive marketing campaign ideally.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: November 28, 2017, 12:50:08 PM

I came at some ICO called Realisto recently:

https://realisto.io/

Seems to be great idea - token backed by real estate, team of professionals with experience in property and a working alpha platform.

What do you guys think?

If fully functionable, it would allow anyone to invest in property projects even with 1 ETH capital...

What do you guys think?

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: November 17, 2017, 12:48:00 PM
Since online gambling is one of the largest and most rapidly expanding industries today. Therefore i would highly recommend you to look into related ICO projects  for good investment returns in the future. I have read and done my researches on Viabet before joining their campaign so I can confidently recommend their ICO project for your consideration.
VIABET, a soon-to-be-launched cloud-based betting casino and peer-to-peer sports betting platform that will operate solely online and through the use of a new cryptocurrency called VIA. This unique approach will enable online players to bet against other online players, where one player acting as the casino is given the house odds.
Due to its innovative new approach VIABET© has gained significant “first-mover advantage” over its competition as the first casino entrant in the cloud betting space. As history shows, most first-movers are rewarded with huge profit margins and monopoly-like status.

According to Investopedia, if you had invested just $1,000 in Apple when they went public in 1980, you’d be up more than $300,000 now if you held it until 2015.
As Steve Jobs said, “You have to start with the customer experience, and work backwards to the technology”. At VIABET, they very much believe what the great founder of Apple has said. Simplicity and intuitiveness is in the core of their platform.
I do strongly believes in VIABET and their success rates. You might wanna learn more about VIABET — https://viabet.io

That's all looking great, tremendous potential, Steve Jobs,  etc.

I was ready to send my hard-earned ETH to them when I noticed one thing.... absolutely no sign of any names whatsoever, no team at all.
Someone want to stay anymous. A big let down as transparency is a key point for me when investing in ICO's.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: November 17, 2017, 11:27:45 AM

Whats the price of EOS if I buy through ICO? Can anyone tell? And what about EOS on exchanges? Whats the difference?

Price is roughly the same.

Its all driven by demand, so the more ETH people contribute within the 23h period the less EOS tokens you are going to get.

When I got mine last month about 7000 eth was contributed so I recieved 277 (or 377 cant rememeber) eos tokens per eth, when i checked exchange next day I would have to pay 1.1 eth to get the same amount.

Klimauk,

Jesli mozna spytac, inwestujac w ICO jak ustalasz moment wyjscia z inwestycji? Z gory ustalone pareset % czy non stop na czuwaniu i oceniasz na biezaco?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / crypto newsletter... worth £3000? on: November 07, 2017, 03:38:34 PM
 Hello everyone,

Its my first post so big HI to all you experts, I'm relatively new to cryptos having started doing my resarch about 6months ago... and just started buying.

Have you heard about that newsletter?  Huh

https://orders.stansberryresearch.com/chain?cid=MKT341087&eid=MKT341360&encryptedSnaid=&snaid=&step=start#

(you don't have to watch that video, just click back on your browser and read the transcript)

It looks like a lot of sales rep thrash-talk which is putting me off slightly, but his photos with Nakamoto and Dan Larimer are quite impressive!  Shocked

There are a lot of scammers trying to sell you crap advise, just thinking if you ever heard of that guy?

It seems that his flagship '200x times your money in 5 years' investment is EOS, what do you think of that please?

There's 30days money back guarantee.

The company actual , Stansberry Churchouse, is a serious one, I'm following them since 2014 as they offer cracking advice on stocks etc.

Not sure if my post is in the correct place so admin please move it if it needs so.

Thanks for all responses guys!!
