1  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: BITCOIN XBT - Stockholmsbörsen on: November 22, 2017, 11:31:55 AM

Edit:

Hittade mer info på deras hemsida.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How does transactions get logged when all blocks are mined on: November 20, 2017, 12:28:43 PM
As i understand it, transactions get logged in blocks and everytime a block is mined a miner get rewarded a coin.

What happens when all blocks, 21miljon, is mined. How do the transactions get logged/saved?

Since no more blocks will be mined they can't be saved in the blockchain, right?

4  Local / Skandinavisk / BITCOIN XBT - Stockholmsbörsen on: November 20, 2017, 07:53:04 AM

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bcash is Gaining Ground. Will See it Become No. 1? on: November 16, 2017, 10:16:37 AM
Looking at https://coinmarketcap.com/ one could tell that bitcoin is on a bull run and Bitcoin Cash is on a bear run.

I think we see this beacuse most of the "normal" investors are leaving the sinking boat now and joining back on the BTC train.

And the more people who leave, the more they influence other people who to do the same, it will speed up more in the next few days i'd say.

I got a feeling bitcoin will surpass 8000$ before the weeks end and Bitcoin Cash will go at least under 500$.

But i'm still a newbie, but this is the feeling i get when comparing price changes and Hash power changes.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x is dead, long live Bitcoin on: November 15, 2017, 01:48:29 PM
Is it not quite obvoius that Bitcoin is in dire need of a update?

As i understand it bitcoin can only handle 2000 transactions every 10minutes, Globaly. This sounds like a very low amount. I imagine a future where i got a Visa card with bitcoins. In that future there must be like 1 miljon transactions every 10mintues.
Already now we have a problem with transactions, if segwit2x where implementet, it would only raise the cap to 4000, which only would of solved the problem for a short period.

What's the plan to fix this? How could there be a future for bitcoin if this is not fixed? Im currently invested with 2BTC, and for me this is the biggest worry for bitcoin.
The plan is LN https://lightning.network/ Which will be ready soon™
It will make big blockers look like relics of a forgotten past.
Changes like these take time and testing you don't want to rush things when you're dealing with something that hold billions of people's dollars.

This seems great and a much better solution then segwit2x! Thanks!

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Fork Highlights Part 2 on: November 08, 2017, 10:28:15 AM
Well, there re basically two options,

1) put your BTC cold storage, somewhere where you control your priv key and wait to get SegWit2x coins.

2) buy alts the day before SegWit2x when they re going to be cheap expecting the price of BTC to go down and alts to go up immediately after the fork.

Probably a mix of these strategies is the best possible option.

GO DMD DIAMOND!

I'm quite new to bitcoin.
I use coinbase, and as i understand it i have a online wallet, and i can't find a private key, so i assume i dont have one.

Will i still be able to get airdrop while using coinbase or do i need to get a offline wallet for this?
