my experience with zipzap was also excellent, completed refund form already submitted and (GASP) confirmed receipt by a customer service rep. Thank you Claire. Simple process. I suggest this.

I gave yahaauser a 0% loan out of personal funds on the understanding it will be paid back when his original order executes.
This is not something I can afford to do for everyone unfortunately as much as I would like to.

That seems totally fair to the thousands of others who are waiting, theoretically in order, for their transactions to be processed. very professional!

Gareth, could please let us know why the terminal was left up even after the first few hundred were complaining in Q&A and through emails about not receiving their funds in the 2 hour guarantee?  Also, why there was no warning disclaimer placed on the site on day two since you disabled the Q&A from being a warning to new customers that their money would be being withheld due to technical issues?  I believe out of everything, that really hurt your credibility the most with me and many others.

Since other orders WERE processing, and cash deposits soon started working too we decided not to disable new orders, if cash deposits had kept failing we would of course have disabled as we've had to do with other payment methods in the past when there have been problems (dwolla used to be terrible for this for example).

But i still have the screenshots from the first 16hrs of no orders going through.  Everyone in Q&A stated no orders had went through.  Day two still no orders were going through via zipzap, and have been in touch with zipzap on this discussion.  They received as more complaints on day two than day 1.  You disabled even being able to view Q&A and left the terminal open with no warning with over 24hrs of no successful cash deposit orders, hundreds of complaints, and without issuing one warning.  It has made it appear that you were attempting to cover up having the issue, so that your business would continue making money off of new customers even though you were well aware that the cash deposits were going to be unsuccessful.  I have the facts to support that.

I think we all know the answer to this is... we like money and we wants it

here's a theory since we are clearly just being put off.

the CEO is on vacation, etc and the support desk people have little idea what's going on.
employees probably do not have access to any transfers because they have the ability to steal
so everything has to be done by charlie and erik, and where are they? hmmm.

Thoughts?

what specifically isn't true there?

"nobody's failed transactions are being reprocessed ATM, they don't know whats broken, they don't know how to fix it" sounds like it jives with "We are preparing to manually process the back log once our devs have fixed some of the issues"

If you are preparing (for 36 hours now btw - what does this preparation process entail?), then you have not started doing it yet.

"once our devs have fixed some of the issues" sounds a lot like "its still not working" to me.

More stalling.

So they guy that orders 2 hours ago gets service but I have waited 48 hours and still have received none?  Hey so anyone know more about this coinbase or any other good services?  Honestly I am pretty amazed at this situation and will probably need a new btc vendor.

that has to be them trying to figure out how a transaction that actually worked went thru.

reality check folks... nobody's failed transactions are being reprocessed ATM, they don't know whats broken, they don't know how to fix it. Just request a refund with zipzap and be done with this baffling level of incompetence and lack of support.

"Its coming up on 24hrs"

There are people waiting for 36 hours and more and not one person has reported a transaction reprocessed. It seems like they are just stalling to me.

I also dont see how it could be that difficult to reprocessed the failed transactions nor do I see how opening support tickets could affect that. Obviously no support tickets are getting answered by a human, so I think its safe to say they are just stalling until they can batch reprocess everything in one go.

This is likely a small operation with a couple of guys trying to dig themselves out of a deep hole. In a way I feel for them yet in a much more real way id like to punch somebody in the face and get my $300 back.

Still waiting on $300 since June 11 4PM CST with nothing but copy/pasted response and "please open a support ticket"

I don't think anything is being processed. I think this is all stalling. I have not heard of one single user that has had their order fixed. Someone prove me wrong....please

just look at the reddit link, pretty sure anything to mt gox is failing, and any large orders.

Looks like zipzap will refund payments, but it takes 5-7 business days. Just got this from them.

"We are aware that BitInstant is experiencing processing delays. They are working on the issues now and we are in regular touch with them. Your funds are safe and all orders will be processed however if you would prefer a cash refund, please let us know and we will refund your payment in full. Attached are the forms that we need to you to complete so we can process your refund request.
Once you have returned the completed forms, we process your refund within 5-7 business days.
Thank you!"

At least zipzap is helpful.

"Please respond as to why you are still taking money even though the service clearly is not working. Why would a company acting in good faith do this?"

2 responses, many lines of text, this is still not answered.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1g62xk/has_anyone_had_their_bitinstant_order_go_through/

NOBODY's transfers to mtgox are going thru. You should not be taking money. End of story.

Also ill respond line by line to this

Does the new beta site which launched yesterday have some outstanding issues?  Yes.

I suppose NOT WORKING is a pretty large issue.

Are we working at a furious pace to fix these issues and address outstanding orders?  Yes.

im sure you are doing this, but a little transparency would go a long way here. You are starting to look like scammers because you are still taking money and you have provided no ETA, no reason for the problems, nothing but "open a support ticket and wait"

Do duplicate tickets make it more difficult for us to organize and navigate issues and resolve them?  Yes.

THEN STOP TAKING NEW ORDERS AND THAT WILL STOP GENERATING TICKETS. THATS SIMPLE.

Are we forcing you to use our service?  No. -

UH WE ALREADY USED IT. NOBODY IS USING IT AGAIN. I CAN'T GO BACK AND UN-USE IT.

Please respond as to why you are still taking money even though the service clearly is not working. Why would a company acting in good faith do this?

I think it's time to start considering further actions than just begging for support. Anybody know any lawyers or another entity to open a dispute with?

How about you stop taking people's money until you figure it out?
