3  Economy / Marketplace / I SOLD ALL MY BITCOINS on: July 25, 2018, 11:11:33 PM
I have been following bitcoins for the past 4 years. i am an Enginner. i remember how bitcoin was introduced to Me. To be honest, i was thruogh ponzi. i used to deposit over 0.1,0.4 to earn 0.7 to 0.9 bitcoins and i made a lot of Money. then, suddenly i decided to go for the killer jackpot and stack all my btc for once. i can remember clearly when a friend was advising me NEVER TO PUT ALL My eggs in one basket. i refused to listen and insist that it is only by strong will can one survived.
Unfortunately I LOST EVERYTHING.  IT was my life saving. Both my earning and my interest.
To cut the story short. i borrow money form the friend that was advising me not to stake everything. i need to pay back. But i will never depart from my lesson learnt from the bitcoin  stuff. i bought another bitcoins last year august and keep it away from anything. i strongly believed that i will still get my money and my friends money.
Thanks to the current Market, I HAVE TO SELL EVERTHING TO PAY MY DEPTHS.

NOW I AM FREEEE.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find good ICOs? on: July 23, 2018, 09:45:24 PM
Please asked a lot of questions over this issue. it answer is simple . Do your own research. make your choice. it might work out or it might fail u.
that is very simple. there are some sites that can assist you in getting better Icos but some are not trusted again. due to unhidden actions taking by some of these sites.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Hacking Bitcoin,How Possible? on: July 20, 2018, 05:27:56 PM
When most people first hear about Bitcoin, they usually think there is some way in which the peer-to-peer digital cash system could be hacked. This is nothing new in some ways, as many internet users have seen their Facebook, Twitter, or other social media accounts come under the control of a nefarious actor over the years.
Having said that, Bitcoin is built for security. Due to the large amount of monetary value that relies on the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, the developers who maintain the de facto reference client for the Bitcoin protocol are careful about any new changes that may be made.
I think Bitcoin depends On Open source.
The Power of Open Source
One of the main reasons Bitcoin is viewed as secure is due to the fact that the codebase behind the network is completely open source. Anyone who wants to join the Bitcoin network is able to do so in a completely open and incorruptible manner. New users are able to confirm, if they wish to do so, that the financial network works in the manner intended because they are able to verify the source code that they’re running on their home computers.

Of course, many users don’t actually verify the code related to their interactions on the Bitcoin blockchain. Most users simply purchase some bitcoin on an exchange like Coinbase rather than worry about operating their own full node.
But the point is that the option to run a full node to control one’s own digital financial sovereignty is always there through the use of open source software

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum is the Future of Blockchain on: July 13, 2018, 02:35:05 PM
The platform that hosts the most blockchain startups and attracts the most developers, wins. The blockchain platform with the most utility, developers and the dApp framework that is the most scalable, will win and take over the mantle from Bitcoin, as the heir apparent of blockchain innovation.

Ethereum: the Handmaid of Decentralization

Few blockchain projects embody the spirit of decentralization as soundly as Ethereum and Vitalik Buterin. Ethereum is built on a newer generation of blockchain technology and is optimized for software engineers.

Ethereum: the Blockchain Platform Devs Want to Work On

Ethereum’s commitment to a scaling strategy and decentralization, likely most resonates with developers as the first-mover dApp platform of choice. While Bitcoin over the last decade evolved into a digital store of value, it didn’t scale in terms of a payments option for various reasons.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Survival guide on dump times for Bitcoin. Worked For Me. on: July 13, 2018, 06:53:18 AM
When the market dumps, the same fate hit the sentiment of the people that are directly involved in it with open investments: all those emotions that are associated with a bull market and growth in general (excitement and confidence) gets crushed, leaving room to anger, disillusion and even depression.

In this context, looking for excuses is the worst behaviour that a trader can have, ending to make emotionally driven decisions instead of rational choices. Inexperienced traders especially tend to externalise the causes of their losses in an attempt not to hit their ego, ending to identify major events like SEC, futures market, Spoofy etc. as the main reasons behind the general wreckage of their unmanaged portfolio.

Here are some tips that may be useful to prevent to approach these hard market phases :

:
Books will always be better than Twitter. Static knowledge is emotionless and fear-poof. Some of my favourites:

There is no need to trade every single day or week. Overtrading will generate losses. You will make 80% of your gains during bull runs. During the rest of the time, the focus should shift to capital preservation.
Be humble; not as a way of life (there is no need to go on with the slave-moral heritage). Be humble with yourself, instead. Discover your limitations and design a strategy accordingly.
You don’t need always to be up with every tiny detail of the price action. There is nothing wrong with reading charts. Just make sure to remain flexible so you can respond promptly to any scenario. Many people are obsessed with being updated with the price action in every candle of every single timeframe. But sometimes the scene is uncertain, and that’s it. There is no need to risk your capital on a weak trade.
Don’t invest more than you are willing to lose. It’s a very well known mistake, still hitting a good chunk of people anyway. Trades must be opened and closed when the right times come, not just when you need money. The market isn’t tailored to your needs.
I spend like this to get where i am Now.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Beware of the New Phishing Strategy on: July 08, 2018, 09:12:58 PM
MetaMask allows users to interact with Ethereum-compatible sites by putting users in control of their own account secrets, in the form of the 12 secret words the user is shown when first setting up.
This is very powerful, but also potentially dangerous, because each user is responsible for the secrecy of their own seed words. If a hacker can trick you into sharing those words, they can steal everything in your accounts.
Recently, a number of websites have shown the Metamask screen to users out of nowhere. The screen impersonates the MetaMask user interface in the top right of the window, asking the user to enter their wallet seed words. The screen looks same thing as the Metamask screen.
This form then sends the seed words up to a private server, and presumably the funds are drained from all of that user’s accounts.

If you have seen the screen, and entered your seed words into it, it may already be too late, your accounts may already be drained. Please contact MetaMask Support immediately.

15  Economy / Trading Discussion / How Many Cryptocurrencies Are Simply Following the Market? on: July 07, 2018, 10:57:53 AM
In the last few days, we’ve experienced a massive rout in the cryptocurrency market.

Skeptics are laughing, traders are fleeing , and even HODLers are worried that the sky is going to fall.

The home page of coinmarketcap is awash in a sea of red. And as if by some strange design, every 7 day price graph looks like they’ve been lazily copy pasted from coin to coin.

17  Economy / Trading Discussion / What to Know about Decentralized Exchanges on: July 05, 2018, 11:23:39 PM
Starting late last year, I’ve been taking a closer look at the cryptocurrency (aka crypto) landscape. Given the nine years I’ve spent running an algorithmic hedge fund, I’m naturally drawn to the dynamics of crypto trading. Since I’m not a crypto true believer, I expect to have a fresh perspective on any new trading technologies. ICO scams aside, there are some interesting innovations occurring in the space. Particularly new is the concept of a decentralized exchangeThe core value proposition of a decentralized exchange (DEX), and what makes them interesting, is allowing for counterparties to find each other and trade directly on-chain, thereby not being dependent on a centralized trading exchange and taking on the associated custody risks.
Because cryptocurrencies are bearer instruments, exchanges holding large sums effectively become honeypots. At current exchange rates, over USD $15 billion has been stolen from over a dozen different exchanges.

WHAT ARE THOUGHT REGARDS DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / State of Cryptocurrencies on: July 03, 2018, 11:15:17 PM
Bitcoin
Bitcoin is the original decentralized, programmable cryptocurrency and market leader, and was launched in January 2009 by anonymous developer(s) using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoins. The supply is dis-inflationary, with the rate of production halving roughly every four years or 210,000 blocks.
Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin that emphasizes increasing throughput on-chain, not off-chain.Bitcoin Cash introduced a new difficulty adjustment algorithm (DAA) through a hard-fork that has resulted in ~90,000 more BCHs in existence in comparison to BTCs.
Chia
Chia is an upcoming cryptocurrency led by Bram Cohen, the creator of BitTorrent and former developer at MojoNatio and is marketed as a “better” version of Bitcoin that can be more distributed, more secure, and greener. Mostly unknown to the public. Mini pre-IPO. Plans to offer equity to public, non-accredited investors, potentially distributing part of its massive pre-mine to share holders. Permanently inflationary.
Ethereum
Ethereum is a virtual computer spearheaded by Vitalik Buterin. It aims to be a “decentralized world computer” by offering a more extensible, (nearly) Turing-Complete smart contract capability in comparison to Bitcoin Script’s Turing-Incomplete smart contracts. The exact monetary policy is not currently known. Eventually, Ethereum is expected to have either a 0.5%-2% inflation rate per year or a hard-cap of ether.
