I'm dumb - wrong thread
2  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 07:06:41 PM
I received all 40 S3s a few hours ago, but it looks like I miscounted my orders and have 1 remaining AntMiner S3 for sale  Cheesy. I'm heading to the UPS store to ship everything in about an hour, so if anyone wants to purchase the last one - It's for sale on Amazon or I can accept 0.9BTC directly. Shipping to US only (free). PM me if interested.

Dang, I bet the UPS delivery guy really likes you.

Can you beat a brand new S2 for $1450 on Amazon?
um....
if there's coupon left, then the bitmain's S2 will be $1255  Grin

I'm pretty sure all of the $400 coupons expired on June 27th  Embarrassed

$1450?... I don't know if I'd trust a seller without any feedback yet. I can discount by $110 though now! New price is $1529.99. I also have a bunch of single batch #1 S3s for sale (and 2-packs), but I would recommend buying directly from Bitmain (minimum order of 2) if you have the bitcoin since they're cheaper than I can offer when accounting for Amazon fees.

Yeah, mine expired on the 27th too. Do you offer tech support or have a policy for DOA units?
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1745 per unit on: July 02, 2014, 01:46:22 PM
Also available for $1645 on Amazon if you don't have the bitcoin

Sorry Bitmain, NOT ANSWERED.

Now that website is now accepting orders and it is showing as minimum order quantity 2,
my questions which HAVE NOT been answered included,

How are the S3s posted, are they posted separately or in one package. The difference in postage means a great deal to buyers who may need to pay customs tax.

Sorry, simple question, I was actually after a simple answer.

Thanks

They are most likely separate - just like the S1s were when they switched to MOQ of 2.

I see one for 22.5BTC.  That's like 30 units! Shocked

That was me. I bought another 10 a couple minutes later ;-)

Well done-I just don't have the kw and AC to run that much.

I had 6 30-amp 230v circuits put in, but I usually don't mine and just resell them (too much heat)

45 / 1.5 = 30 doesnt it ??

with math skills like yours its no wonder these guys make millions and we're still scraping up crumbs

Heh, they're 0.75BTC each, not 1.5. You may be confused since the MOQ is 2 units.

Dang, that was fast to get listed on Amazon. Crazy high price, but useful for those without the bitcoin or who only want 1 miner I guess.
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 30, 2014, 02:04:51 PM
Woohoo! Just bought 30!
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: June 30, 2014, 12:06:47 PM
How many S3s will there be in the first batch?

Edit: Batch 1 units for sale on Amazon. Great if you only want to buy 1 or don't have enough bitcoin.

Edit #2: I ended up purchasing through CryptoCrane.com. Their Feedback on Amazon is stellar, but they sell for cheaper on their own site. I got my S3s quick and packed well, so I'm happy  Grin
13  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How many S3 are you planning to buy? on: June 29, 2014, 04:59:32 AM
I'll be buying as many as I can!
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 26, 2014, 07:12:47 PM
S2 shipping delayed again. Site now says 28th... We need something Bitmain. The ROI is too high without a coupon on the S2.

I ordered a ton of S2s over the last week and they all shipped this morning, as advertised. They used to say "shipping within 48 hours", but now list the shipping date as two days out - which is the same thing.

Wild prediction: Tomorrow it will say the 29th. The point is, S2s ordered when it says shipping on the <insert date here> actually go out on that date. They aren't being delayed.

Edit - Oops, the 29th is Sunday, so the 30th  Wink

Pressure from neptunes?

Neptunes are probably not even on their radar in terms of threats. I'm very glad I cancelled the 3 day-1 Neptunes I had on order and bought Bitmain gear. I would love to see someone come along and offer real competition though!

I'm guessing (hoping) they'll quickly release an "S4" that will be the same as the S2, but with upgraded chips @ 1.8-2Th/s.

Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release a U3 edition of the USB miners.
18  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Is anyone setting up a group buy of S2 miners on: June 13, 2014, 10:23:32 AM
I'm interested in 5
19  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Is anyone setting up a group buy of S2 miners on: June 12, 2014, 03:27:53 PM
I'd be interested in buying a few too
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: June 11, 2014, 01:34:56 PM
will there be a new batch of U2's?

I emailed Bitmain about this earlier in the week as my supply is almost out and they told me the U2s have been discontinued  Embarrassed

I'm hoping they release a 28nm version of their chip and announce U3 and S3 miners.
