This is one of the best new coins I have seen! It had a very good start with very fair conditions for all to participate. The tech and the team look very promising.
I really appreciate the work the devs are putting into this coin, and applaud them for their fairness and hard work!

I wish every success to the whole Poseidon team, to the community as a whole and to the coin itself which I am sure will be one of the best out there!  Smiley

Hey can you also have a look at S4 S7 S9
    greate work btw

Me too interested on S9. I hate the noise who make when go over 77°.

Just a suggestion for Blissz, I prefer to pay a license (like 100$ forever blocked on the serial number of the miner) instead to give you a fee, but it's only my opinion.

Anyway, great works! Thank you

I suggested the same early on when he started with D3, with detailed info about how to do it using the MAC address of the miner, but Blissz never replied! I guess he wants to keep it this way! Sad

ATTENTION ALL FORCE WALLET USERS!!

Please STOP using wallet versions 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6 !! They are outdated and cannot stake!
YOU MUST install and use wallet version 3.7!
Download it here: https://github.com/forceunited/force/releases/download/v3.7.0.0/force-3.7.0.0-windows.zip

3.6 osx wallet stating 7-9 hours to earn reward. its over 40 hours without the reward, is there a network glitch? raising amount of orphaned blocks has something to do with staking?

Hi, there is no glitch, everything is working correctly. There is an increase in network difficulty, and the staking rewards are not coming as often. Also, it depends on the number of coins you have in your wallet, which shows your weight against the weight of the network. You will get a reward eventually, just be patient.

Important! You must be using the latest wallet version 3.6.0!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (02/11 v1.1 update) on: December 06, 2017, 01:51:38 PM
Thought my D3 was running even cooler than normal with the super firmware, turns out that's cos it's doing nothing (but the dev pool I guess) as there's a Nicehash outage going on, was going to switch to Zpool but it looks more complex.

Quote
Bitmain D3 Settings:
URL: x11.mine.zpool.ca:3533#xnsub
Worker: <WALLET_ADDRESS>
Password: c=<SYMBOL>,d=92

Is the <symbol> just supposed to be BTC if I want paying in BTC?

Nicehash is down (maintenance). They don't know when it will be back!

Tuning each card I discovered that changing the voltage on one of them also affects the number of HW errors I get on the other ones. I don't know if frequency has the same effect. This made it quite tricky to get the three cards tuned independently. Have others observed this? What would this happen?

Exactly what happends with me. Please guys, if you get good results, please share the settings you are running, and what batch of Antminer D3 you got. I will share mine as soon as I get decent results!

Any opinion on how much HW errors is acceptable? Does HW error affect mining performance? I dont see any speed changes with a lot of HW errors. Can you just ignore it if temp and everything is allright?

Every D3 is different, so there are no general settings that fit everybody. Even in a single D3, the boards can be very different, and this is the reason Blissz added the individual board tuning feature.

You should just follow these instructions (courtesy of Blissz):
Start with frequency of 400 and a "Low" voltage setting.
Then increase the frequency until you start seeing HW errors.
Now either reduce the frequency if you want to keep the lowest power consumption, or increase the voltage incrementally until the HW errors disappear altogether, or are not more than 12 per hour.
You should also keep an eye on chip temperatures of each board (or chain), and try to keep them under 80 deg. C. using the fan automatic profiles or fixing the fan speed at a certain percentage. I prefer personally to keep it on automatic.

As a rule of thumb (at least in my 19 GHs D3 batch from mid October), the highest frequency I can use without HW errors on "Low" voltage is 438, some boards cannot tolerate higher frequencies, and they start producing too many errors already at a frequency of 425 or even 419!

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (29/11 v1.01 update) on: November 30, 2017, 07:00:04 AM
Sorry, guys, but I need help because of Bitmain support completely useless.

With stock firmware and stock settings (537Mhz, 13 voltage) for 1&2 chain temperature is below 70C but for 3rd it's higher than 100C.
I think heatsink didn't properly place on chips.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/u8i0pkn70ks20t4/chain_3_103.png?dl=0

I tried latest Bitmain firmware and Blissz firmware - still overheating.

I tried to run it with only one 3rd chain (overheating) and got this:

Chain#   ASIC#   Frequency   GH/S(RT)   HW   Temp(PCB)   Temp(Chip)   ASIC status
3           60                537             6517.26           421        53                83   oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooo
Fan#   Fan1   Fan2
Speed (r/min)   5,220   5,760

So, even alone, with fans on 100%  its 83C and had 421 error during 20min test.

How do you think, guys, should I send defective chain to Bitmain for repair?
Thanks
First of all, reduce the stock frequency from 537 to say 400  before you burn the 3rd chain!, then check whether the 3rd chain shows cooler temperatures, if yes, install Blissz's firmware to tune the frequency for each chain to balance their temperatures, especially the 3rd chain should be reduced way under the other two. I would advise you to choose the highest fan speed to cool the 3rd chain down, you can also use Blissz's "Performance" mode for the fan.
Don't forget though that this might invalidate your warranty! But it's better having a functioning miner than dealing with hassles of sending it back to Bitmain.
Good luck!

I was visiting the coinsmarkets a few hours ago and read some rumors about exchanges that could add FOR, Yobit and Cryptopia would be close to making that happen? If this coin is added to Cryptopia, prices will be higher than recently.
Cryptopia will be great for FORCE, the price will definitely increase if FOR is listed there. Also Binnance should be contacted. They are good for smaller coins and tokens.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: November 29, 2017, 10:16:56 AM
On the github you can download Verge 3.0. Is this an electrum wallet?

no, electrum is electrum ;]

3.0 is wraith, the name of the new core wallet. new core wallets will be coming periodically now as we add a ton of new features.
If someone installs the next new core wallet, will it just overwrite the old one? Or do you have to move your coins?
It will just update your current wallet and keep all your coins. No need to move anything!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!) on: November 28, 2017, 11:18:35 AM
I have an idea for Blissz!

First a big thank you Blissz for all that you have done to help us with our D3s. Unfortunately, I have now reverted to the original Bitmain firmware. The problem is that the devfee constant restarts is disrupting my mining on my main pool, which keeps my miners waiting for long time before reconnecting, but, I will be more than happy to use your firmware if you will accept a donation, either using crypto or fiat, or both, and remove the devfee mining.

Here is my idea for how to ensure the donation money and prevent non-paying users from using the firmware without devfee:

You can implement a checking mechanism in the firmware that uses a hashed data that is made up of a username and/or a donation wallet address combined with the MAC address of a miner, and embed this encrypted data inside the firmware for each user and D3 miner individually. The firmware will check this on each start to identify and allow the miner to start without a devfee, otherwise, the firmware will start with the devfee if the information doesn't correspond to this exact D3 machine and user. The MAC address btw is always available under "Network", so upon payment, the user can easily send you the MAC addresses of his machines for you to combine them into one data-set per user, so that you only need to give the user 1 firmware copy for all his machines.

I know that this need some more work on your side, but think about it:
If each user pays you something between 10-15 dollars per D3 miner firmware (a range I think most people will accept), and thinking about the few hundred thousands of D3s sold (according to my information), you will be making a lot of money!

Here is the simple calculation:
If only 100.000 users pay you say $10, you will be making 1 million dollars (or its equivalent in crypto)! This will be way better, faster and easier income for you than using 1.50% of our hashing power that might only bring you 1-2 cents a day with the current difficulty (which will only get worse)!

You can keep the free version as it is now (including the devfee mining), but for those willing to pay, you create a digitally signed versions as described above.

What do you think about this Blissz? My idea is free of charge by the way, so you can just use it!  Grin
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (26/11 must update!!!) on: November 27, 2017, 09:33:55 PM
last night I switched pools in D3 miner, saved configuration, then third chain didn't start to mine at all, it showed around 62 O, after 5 minutes O changed to X. This happens for the first time. Restart didn't help, so I shut it down for night and bring it to the apartment.   Next day I unplugged all cables (from PSU and hashing boards), refitted them again, start miner and third chain is back!

Don't know what happened, maybe it was too cold for antminer, I kept it at the attic and there is only 3 celsius degree at night.

What do you think about coldness - could it harm antminer ? I think if you leave it alone without interrupting it should be fine.

I'm on stock firmware (last one) and I  was just about to try Blissz  upgrade
I have my D3 miners in the cellar, and 2 weeks ago, it became very cold in my mining room, the temperature was somewhere between 2-3 deg C.  I was shocked to find out that none of my D3 miners could start! they were just dead! I thought right away that it might be the cold, so I took one of the D3s to another warm room (24C.), and after 10 minutes, it started without a problem!  As I didn't want to dismantle the other miners, I just took the one that worked and pointed its hot exhaust air to the intake fans of the other miners using a flexible air ducting hose to warm them up (1 min. was enough for each miner to heat it up). After that, they all started without a problem!

Hi all,

I hope that you can help me !!!!!

I accidentally flash my L3+ with the D3 update from Blissz.....  Cry
When i discoverd that, i flash it back with the update from Bitmain for the L3+.

After that it does not see the hashboards anymore..  ALL 4...

Has anyone an idea what i can do?Huh?

NEED help....

Sorry to hear that man! But try first to refresh the browser cache with Ctrl-F5 to be sure that what you see on the screen is the L3+ web interface, not the D3-Blissz one (with the black background and Blissz red logo on top of the Antminer logo). The L3+ interface should look like the one in this image:
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 Blissz firmware (25/11 update available!) on: November 25, 2017, 08:59:07 PM
25/11 v2 recommended UPDATE

I really  recommend to update to this version as it brings more stability / + small hashrate improvement

Download:
https://mega.nz/#!DowkVLgD!qVz5xnC2tGpUKKcjd6_kdkVjIwSG7-EBUkq1e_rX5Mg

Changes 25/11 v2:
- Hashrate calculation is now according bitmain stock firmware (displayed  hashrate is ~3% higher now)
- + ~1% performance improvment by providing the work faster to the ASICs  Cool
- removed dev pool from miner status page to speed up webinterface and avoid confusion (exact dev mining details are visible in the kernel log)

Changes 25/11:
- fixed auto reboot on low hashrate / xxxx
- fixed issue where temperature readings could be wrong
- fixed fan error on some units
- improved stability
- allows for zero RPM fan (all custom fans should work now)
- increased upper limit frequency for overclocking. (not recommended though Wink)
- dev fee kicks in a bit later now after changing settings

know issues:

- switching pools can sometimes cause the miner to wait for work for 10 seconds.

happy mining!
