1  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What is school for? on: September 05, 2018, 01:33:53 AM
To learn what is necessary to live in society: responsibility, respect, social interaction, reasoning; as well as the basic of the necessary disciplines in the day to day like mathematics, biology and Portuguese. Be afraid to raise the hand for fear of being wrong it is a psychological problem of yours, not the exclusive fault of the school environment (although it generates this propensity); after all many expose their opinions without any difficulty.

-Is school a factory for learning or building up the intellect? Both.
-What is the priority for a school? (test?) Prepare people for life.
-An extra hour of sleep is more beneficial for a student instead of putting them into an extra essay, reading 150 pages etc? It is, if you sleep at 4am to wake up at 6am.
-Who was suppose to teach you the time management skills? Your colleagues or whoever who are well organized. People have tongue.
- "Use your time wisely". What does the teacher mean when they say it? It means that you should use your time doing something that will benefit you in the future (not all of the time, because we need free time not to fall into potential depression) rather than just thinking about your present. Because thinking only in the present is part of a philosophical current that does not work for most people, and usually has negative consequences.

2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the most ideal form of government? on: August 30, 2018, 04:13:23 PM
Right-wing conservative has been and always will be the best form of government in a world where terrorism and corruption thrive in the absence of rigid rules that punish it.
3  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Legalization of drugs? on: August 30, 2018, 03:50:56 PM
Legalization of drugs is a big mistake, and every country that releases them repents. Because it's something that simply kills people's lives.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Self victimization on: August 27, 2018, 11:42:17 PM
Im Brazilian and here, this is also very common. You can't say or do anything because the concept of things is subjective, so what is not harassment for you may be for another. Personally, I find this totally ridiculous and something that distances us from a healthy freedom of expression. But usually, people like that are not worthy of respect so they don't cause so much polemic.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Venezuela, a fable about socialism. Part 1/2 on: August 24, 2018, 03:27:08 PM
A "funny" fact is that the currency (Bolivar Venezuelan) is currently worth less than the in-game money of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should the religion interfere with political issues? on: August 24, 2018, 03:19:28 PM
If the question is whether or not this should happen (because as everyone knows, there are countries in which religion decides for citizens), my opinion is: this should not happen. For me, an ideal state must be secular, but communities that generate civil disorder by decisions made on the basis of religion must be controlled for the sake of the security of the population.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe, Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1500 This Year? on: August 23, 2018, 01:14:16 PM
Personally, I believe the odds of falling so low are minimal. It is already too low and so the tendency is to rise til the end of the year, after falling a bit more.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to spot a SCAM ICO? on: August 21, 2018, 06:20:54 PM
Considering all previous instructions as correct, usually a promise of very high prizes without any significant effort on your part, with a requirement of data that is not requested by serious companies, are clear signs to which people should be aware.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Trump just a puppet? on: August 21, 2018, 12:43:29 AM
He is a patriot, good businessman, with conservative values and so, a person well indicated to be in the presidency. That simple, at least for me.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to proof the value up or down with btc? with news? on: August 21, 2018, 12:25:58 AM
Although there are always signs (even very low) that indicate these ups and downs, sometimes it seems crazy to follow them. The volatility in question is extreme and so there is not only prediction involved but also a lot of luck.
13  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Blockchain na Ecommerce Brasil on: August 16, 2018, 10:24:46 PM
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can altcoin topple Bitcoin? on: August 16, 2018, 02:51:09 PM
Of course, just because, why not? Bitcoin already cost less than a lot of altcoins and all this is very volatile so, we can expect anything.

17  Local / Primeiros Passos (Iniciantes) / Re: Jr.member ? on: August 10, 2018, 01:05:15 AM
Cry
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: August 10, 2018, 01:02:37 AM
The dominance of bitcoin is increasing every day so now is not the time to diversify investments.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: August 08, 2018, 05:32:46 PM
It is possible that ethereum will exceed bitcoin with the approval of the proof of stake in the year 2019
