ATTENTION: Anyone mining at cncoin.farm, watch out for increased fees. I'd like people to spread the hash around. Looks like some solo mining has dropped off or something. I'll wait a bit and see how it goes, but I think I should just up it to 3% now as a kicker. ...snip... thank you. If all I want to do is create an address to send BBR to cold storage can I do that with simplewallet even before the blockchain synch is complete? My first thought was to use simple wallet but the guide here said that my password would be created in my command history and I was not sure how to solve that: http://boolberry.com/howto.html#wallet"To generate a new wallet, use this command: simplewallet --generate-new-wallet="path\to\file\want_to_be_reach.bin" You will then be prompted for a password. There is an option to enter the password on the command line, but then the password will be saved in your command history which can be read by others." If you haven't already gone past that point, your history isn't saved in Windows anyway (unless something changed in windows 8 I guess). You probably just don't want to add the --password option anyway, and just type it in. It just means if you put it on the command line like --password "MySecret" then someone could come to your computer and hit the up arrow to get to that password. Just don't set that and it will ask you for a password. You don't have to sync. Just send to that address.

The list of aliases is missing, and some graphs not working on the Boolberry state web page. Is there another way, having opened my wallet, to check it's aliases? I forget the ones I have registered...
It's back up now.

i have a strange problem with mining (gpu miner, linux), all worked fine, but now everytime i'm trying to mine i got this message "stratum_recv_line failed", the strange thing is, if i try it on another location (different ip and also instead of wlan there is a cable), it works without problems.
someone any ideas how to solve it?
Can you check that both commands are the same? Paste here the command and I'll see if it looks right.

I'm had this problem with minerd miner from the boolberry's site. Can anyone help? Try getting mbk's miner instead. The one on boolberry.com isn't updated. Now I have problem opencl.ddl is missing. I have CPU only machine. Actually, I think you can just install the opencl sdk for it to work, from here: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/I just did a custom install and picked only the opencl sdk part and unchecked all the rest. See if that works. I know it's not the most convenient, but please let me know if you try it and if it works so I know.

Maybe one block got orphaned? I checked the blocks from wallet and boolbd log, nothing is wrong, any other tools that can check whether the block is orphaned or not ? could you list, what exac transfers you see in your wallet. How much kh/s I get with c3.8xlarge? in scrypt is around 270 kh/s and in cryptonight coin is 800h/s. Where I need to paste this? I'm running in windows.
Not sure the speed. You can create a shortcut to the wallet executable and add those to the end in the shortcut properties, then again if cz fixed the seed nodes you shouldn't have to anymore.

Does anybody see the 8.5 BTC buy order at 0.00009823.
Currently buying 85000 contracts.
CRAZY!
Why is this crazy? - 3% of available BBR supply bought for 8.5 BTC ($1900 at today's prices)
At today's rate, - 3% of available XMR supply costs 220 BTC
- 3% of available DRK supply costs 1225 BTC
Exactly 5 months ago, - 8.5 BTC (worth around $4000 at the time) would not have bought 8.5k BBR, let alone 85k BBR.
I guess one man's crazy is another man's calculated gamble... Are you the new owner of a large bunch of boolberries?

minerd: unsupported non-option argument 'C:\Users\Wall\AppData\Local\boolberry/scratchpad.bin' Try `minerd --help' for more information.Yeah, something else is wrong there. It might have been compiled with some cpu specific options. You can use mbk's miner and just make sure to set -a wildkeccak if you want to mine on cpu or use the executable in the easy miner.

Any suggestions? Same with me , I have been unable to use that cpuminer version too. But there is boolberr-easy-miner 1.1 that works flawlessly either using gpu or cpu, you just need to change the wallet addres file(the one with *.txt extension) with yours if you dont want to use autogenerated wallet. Oh, great to hear it works for you with both cpu and gpu! I hadn't received much feedback about that. About your other question, to become a large part of the network, you would need much more hashrate to get a more stable block rate.

My pool bbr.mbkpool.info had problems with payments lately. It was due to wallet getting out of sync like many times before. All miner payments for last few days have been sent. I rescheduled the wallet restart script to prevent such problems in the future. Just noticed - cncoin.farm has 97% of total hash rate. It's a reliable pool but it doesn't look good for the coin. Please, use solo miner or some other pool if you can.
Hey, here's a git diff that fixes that if it's that the wallet seems to stop checking for updates. diff --git a/src/wallet/wallet2.cpp b/src/wallet/wallet2.cpp index a525a86..c8d7ee4 100644 --- a/src/wallet/wallet2.cpp +++ b/src/wallet/wallet2.cpp @@ -436,10 +436,11 @@ void wallet2::refresh(size_t & blocks_fetched, bool& received_money) catch (const std::exception&) { blocks_fetched += added_blocks; - if(try_count < 3) + if(try_count < 3000) { LOG_PRINT_L1("Another try pull_blocks (try_count=" << try_count << ")..."); ++try_count; + sleep(60); } else { I believe that came from Onishin in #monero-pools when he posted it there about monero's wallet doing that a while ago. Haven't had to restart because of this issue since doing this. Now not being able to make a payment because of dust and transaction being too large bites me all the time.

What do you mean protected? As you cannot look into the file? If so, stop compiling it!
Please tell me where to find this crypto.data so i can take a look into the old version of it.
I'm just talking about the the crypto class in the code. There was a section of the code trying to access crypto.data, and it was by default private, I assume. I just set it to protected instead so the code would work. Not sure about any security implications there. Just letting scruffy know what I had to do. It's in my diff what files were changed. I was just using his github repo that he posted. As far as changes, I think it would be very nice to have the gui wallet check if a daemon is already running, since it just sits there and says "Wait, please..." if a daemon was running when you ran the gui wallet. Also, it just sticks when you close it and doesn't let go of the console. What tools are you guys building this gui in? I am no c++ dude, but I may be able to help with small stuff.
