1  Local / India / If a client offers BTC can I accept it as a web developer? on: March 30, 2018, 06:53:34 AM

2  Local / India / Don't fall for reputation on Local bitcoins, got scammed by high reputed trader on: March 06, 2018, 06:40:18 PM
I found this guy on local bitcoins named Nimesh he has a very good reputation there..! He called me on whatsapp and asked me to transcat directly via whatsapp to avoid fee.. first deal went smooth. After a month on second deal he shown his true colors.
I sent him 0.4 btc to his given address.

Then this guy started asking me different questions like show ID proof, show how you obtained the btc, show the source of btc and all. I sadly sent him all the details.

I know there is only a very small chance of getting this man where he deserves to be. But I'm willing to take that chance. Any support or guide will be appriciated from the community. I do have his bank details that he must have forged too. I dont get how someone can be so confident in scamming others.

Sad part is his reputation on LBC is around 100% he calls his clients and asks them to avoid lbc to save fee and transact directly via whatsapp. People will often fall for his deal. But he's seasoned scammer.

Banks suspending accounts of private limited companies appear to be serious issue. May I expect Benson, Sathvik & Mahin to comment on this regarding their respective companies?
Yes that surely will help a little.

But eventually I got kicked out for some reasons that I can understand.

And what were the reasons? were you banned?  If so, I doubt you will be recovering the account.

I dont know the exact reason but I had a post count of nearly 3k in a year.. maybe thats it. But almost 90% of it was very constructive maybe mods had a different pov on that.. people literally started spamming like hell and I got burned in the mix.

Hi Mods,
I was quite active on this forum between 2014-2015.. my account username is rohnearner..! In that one and half year alone I made around 2-3BTC from this forum (Really thankful it changed everything).
But eventually I got kicked out for some reasons that I can understand. Now after around 3 years I'm in a position where I want to cashout my BTC and I might need that account to show the actual source..? I know its hard to recover accounts but if its possible pls let me know how..? I'm not even in control of that bitcoin address associated but I do control the email address though.
Recovering my account might send out a bad message but if I don't get the account back I'll have to create some story, My CA suggested me to get back the account if possible, and here I'm giving it a shot it really would short out a lot of trouble..?

How safe is it to withdraw High Value of BTC at present scenario in India ..? around 5btc.? These are holdings from 2015-2016.. I haven't filed IT return till this date.. not even 0. that's where I'm having problems. ANY  Good CA or someone who can give a wise advice on this particular scenario ..? What are the chances that I'll face any notices..? I would like to clear that all of the money that I invested is purely my own. It wasn't much back then around 300$ in DAO that eventually forked into ETH/ETC
11  Local / India / Re: India may ban Bitcoin on: December 31, 2017, 09:21:27 AM
Lets get rational and understand pros and cons crypto currencies... not just botcoin but beyond.

Major pros
Low few transctions(NOT BITCOIN)
High speed transaction(Not Bitcoin)
Massive ecommerce tool
Reshaping the industry and existing eco system

Major Cons
Black Money
Money laundering
Illegal activities
Volatile

Now lets dig into what a ban will achieve. Imho a ban will only take out the positive aspects of crypto and all the negative points are still gonna be there..
Like a person whos gonaa use it for illegal activities will use it regardless of Gov banning it or not I mean a ban will only take out Indian exchanges off of the game ban is not going to restrict blackmoney, launderinng or any other negative aspect but it surely is going to kill all positive aspects.
12  Local / India / Re: My predictions of bitcoin price in india in 2018 on: December 31, 2017, 06:07:57 AM
Predicting btc price at this point is quite insane.. I thought it will max go upto 5k by the end of 2017.. and look where it went.. but it has a downside as more and more naive investors are coming in..
