2  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group buy] Avalon chips Escrow John K / Please send your e-mails until Friday on: September 25, 2013, 09:04:10 PM
cool job, organizing a failed group buy, postponing best group interests by 2 weeks at the end and getting free 66+ BTC for all that!
Again ,
What happened after waiting 2 weeks??
The refund is done by Avalon and nobody that is not wanting chips anymore is going to be forced to receive chips instead of BTC.
You think that organizing this is a joke?
You and a few  other members joking with the signed messages, what do you want???
I just think I deserve payment for my efforts, but will let you all decide .
Please understand I'm trying to serve equaly all of you .
Avalon fucked us all, but you specially after reselling some of your chips at higher prices ...........
So the group will decide , and YES  with signed messages again , because it is the only way somebody can prove ownership.
And with you I will not make a deal never again, after we finish this messy Avalon deal
Peace
Martin

They are just Bulgarians ... they will newer learn / as say the Great SeriousSam from famous FPShooter / ... to respect others work... but will wait all others to pay his own. They will never say that sometime just things happened and profit can be if there a risk exist ... and sometime risk happened. Tnx to Marto74 that believe in all of us and jump over the Bularian spirit. We all must stay behind him.

4  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [1 BTC BOUNTY CLAIMED!] Get 6 radeon 7970 installing and mining in Windows on: June 19, 2013, 03:02:57 PM
Oh ya bunch of whiners.

Tip away: 1BXNapSrzTSfmqSD63e49eh2JvDkeotCxt

It basically comes down to a limitation of Windows 7. What the specific limitation is, I don't know. But Windows 8 allows 1 more GPU to be detected and mineable. So if you install 13.1 driver on win7 and get 4 GPU working, you will get 5 GPU working on win8. Win8 is also annoying though in that you can't install "older" drivers, some of which allow an additional GPU mineable on top of that. The catalyst installer manager simply won't show the display driver installer option. SO. Here we go.

Install windows 8.
Wipe any previous GPU drivers off with amd_cleanup_util_1.2.1.0.exe (google it) if you have installed them before.
Install 13.1 plus OpenCL included with it. Personally, I only installed display driver, opencl sdk, and the hdmi driver because I dont like seeing stuff without drivers. None of the other stuff is required.
You will now have 5 GPU working with one with an error code 43 inside the Device Manager.
Open 12.6 and install only to the point where it extracts stuff into C:\AMD\Support\. Do not actually install drivers. We just need to extract.
In device manager, right click the errored GPU -> Properties -> Driver tab -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer -> Have Disk -> Browse -> Navigate to C:\AMD\Support\12-6_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_whql\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF and select either .inf file (it doesn't seem to make a difference) -> OK -> Should only have one device listed under "Model". Hit Next.

It should now proceed to downgrade from 13.1 to 12.6, which is the highest version driver that allows an extra GPU. You screen may flicker MANY times, and your device manager may appear to freeze/hang. Just let it do it's thing. It may take upwards of an hour or longer. You may get a BSOD too. Just go with it. If you're coming on 2 hours or longer, try doing a hard reset. You -should- now have all 6 GPU installed OK in device manager and detected in OpenCL. If not, reboot again (just in case).

If this doesn't work, well, I don't know what to say. This is just the solution I was given. (Well, actually, I was recommended the special 7970 release driver, but I was worried it wouldnt work with 13.1 opencl)

Just notice this post. I think win8 part is not necessary. I got 8 GPUs on win7 using this proces that I figure out too about 3 weeks ago. But they were not all 7970 cards... But I have 6 cards pluged in with 8 GPU total on win7. Works without a problem...

For sure - 8 x RV870 - presented single in HD5870 or doubled in 5970 is possible to run under Windows x64 ( not a problem Vista /7 or 8 ... my own run at 7 Pro ) and for sure is not easy to make more that 5 Thaiti GPU cores ( HD79x0 ) to work together ... i was place max 6x with trick 13.1 back to 12.6 and 5x if install 12.8 and back to 12.6 ... so - all is depend of drivers ... same was and early with 3 x 5970 when Win7 do not want to catch 6-th core ... and BlueScreenofDead but ... who search - will find solution finaly.

Just my 2 cents...

P.S. 5 x 7970 over middle range MB + AMD X6 CPU + PSU high class ( 1200 Corsair or ... my favorite 1250 Enermax ) is exactly the best monster.
P.S.2 - no need to place any CrossFireX, TriFireX ect... jumpers ...

... I swapped the third Sapphire out and got a Gigabyte card which has increased the hash rate (incredibly)....

Can you say more - what exactly Gigabyte card, what a difference you achieve, compare to Sapphire's units?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Litecoin pass 10$ by the end of June? on: June 16, 2013, 04:30:58 AM
Right now LTC stays around the same profitability BTC.

If it's more profitable then people jump on, increase difficulty. If it's less profitable people jump off, difficulty decreases profitability rises etc...s

So LTC follow BTC price trends - see their price charts.

If this keeps ups, at the current LTC/BTC rate of 0.02082, LTC will hit $10 when BTC hits $480 Smiley

Seem is true - they keep balance between miners.
