I also think that you are not helping, but in fact you harm a person, everyone can get a job and earn a living, and not ask for charity Shocked

A non-profit organization dedicated to educating individuals about scams and helping them to avoid becoming victims of consumer fraud.Additionally, we provide a brief overview of some of the most common scams to be aware of below. Become informed by reading through each one and visiting up-to-date information at the ScamAwareness
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of North Korea? on: November 10, 2017, 12:36:23 PM
North Korea just launched its Ballistic Missile. Should the world be alarmed?

We should all be alarmed. Ever wonder why North Korea doesn't permit any form of media to take footage in their country? Maybe they are building some super weapon of mass destruction. The United Nations should start investigating. We all know North Korea's leader is a bit crazy.

I think North Koera is just instigating. Did you hear last year how they were testing nuclear misslees and they shot one right overJapanese teritory. They actually had the audacity to do that. and they didn't do that just because. They did that to try to intimidate us. And by us I mean everyone. Well I think that they are 1000 years to early to try anything. Although, most likely they will.First they should actually feed their own people rather then trying to prove how tough they are.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: What is Bitcoin mining? on: November 10, 2017, 12:13:40 PM
In cloud mining are you relying on a third party?
Yes, you have to rely on third party and I don't advice you to leap into cloud mining because every cloud mining of this days end up scamming people off their money and it will be better if you invest your money into ICO rather than cloud mining.

Bitcoin mining requires a computer and a special program.Miners will use this program and a lot of computer resources to compete with other miners in solving complicated mathematical problems.About every ten minutes, they will try to solve a block that has the latest transaction data in it,using cryptographic hash functions.

...

To summarize, what I wanted to ask is the following:
IS THERE A WAY TO KEEP SUCH IMPORTANT SOFTWARE OPEN SOURCE (to be able to vet it) WHILE STILL PROVIDING MEANINGFUL FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO DEVELOPERS?

2. Incentive due to own coin holdings
Many Bitcoin or altcoin developers are sitting on a huge stash of their respective cryptocurrency of choice. This means that they are directly incentivized
to improve the protocol, because any improvements would likely increase adoption (or at least prevent the fall of adoption or people switching to a more
innovative competitor), which would increase the value of their coins.

Yeah. That is what I initially thought would be the case but whales of second largest coin by market cap prove me wrong.
They have done jack sit to improve end user experience. Half of the world uses myetherwallet.

What should we expect form micro-whales then?

I understand that you can increase your user base by targeting the less experienced coders and providing them with support for all the previous applications, but how are you so supposed to improve your own product when you can’t get rid of the parts which are not as good.
5  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transaction Speeds on: November 10, 2017, 10:20:58 AM
I am trying to understand how a distributed network can ever hope to compete with centralized processing speeds of major banks that typically clear 25k transactions per second. I get the appeal of a decentralized currency and want to back an alt currency that could be deployed in confidence to solve low latency, high transaction problems like gaming or offshore wires like the Western Union Business. Electroneum wants this markets and I like this coin, but how are they going to solve the latency problems.  My question is really, is a distributed block chain a feasible solution? Do any altcoins have the capability of processing that many transactions?

I have been reading many people expressing the same concern with the decentralized platform that Bitcoin is based on. Right now, the scaling problem has been one of the major things that can hinder the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency and in extension the transfer fees have been rising to the point that they are not anymore very competitive in comparison to centralized systems under many corporate service providers.

Does it showing us the fact that we can't have our cake and eat it too? Well, we are waiting for ways to answer this big challenge to Bitcoin and hope that soon solutions would be coming true so that we can really say that Bitcoin is a good store of value aside from being a widely accepted currency. I understand that Bitcoin is still relatively young and to make it evolved on a higher level can take some time no matter if the value has already soared a lot due to heavy speculations.

Bitcoin should have been fast, lean, robust, vigorous and should cost less at all times...let's start telling the whole community of how Bitcoin should be.

The transaction speed setting determines how quickly an invoice payment is considered to be confirmed, which would be the status at which you would fulfill and complete the order.
6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Data compression on: November 10, 2017, 05:50:38 AM
I backed up the blockchain data recently (late October) it was 160GB uncompressed, I used 7zip with normal compression and it is 112GB in 25 dvd sized archive files.

Data compression;

When data compression is used in a data transmission application, the goal is speed. Speed of transmission depends upon the number of bits sent, the time required for the encoder to generate the coded message and the time required for the decoder to recover the original ensemble. In a data storage application,Although the degree of compression is the primary concern,it is nonetheless necessary that the algorithm be efficient in order for the scheme to be practical.

As discussed in the Introduction, data compression has wide application in terms of information storage, including representation of the abstract data type string and file compression.Huffman coding is used for compression in several file archival systems [ARC 1986; one of the adaptive schemes to be discussed in Section 5.An adaptive Huffman coding technique is the basis for the compact command of the UNIX operating system.
one could expect to see even greater use of variable-length coding in the future.

8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why are people suffering from jealousy ? on: November 09, 2017, 12:59:46 PM
In my social life, I have experienced many issues which stem from jealousy. Most of the people have a tendency for being jealous of successful, hardworking people. What is the reason for this envy .. I want to know your opinion of this issue.

Simple. Because they can't be that person. They will only be jealous because that one person gets anything they please and the other don't. Success won't be walking towards you, you must work for it. Jealousy is evident to insecure people who tend to compare themselves to other people that reaches their peak of anger.

A little jealousy in a romantic relationship is undoubtedly natural. Certainly each of us has felt an uncomfortable jealous twinge at some point in a relationship.
People often throw around the term "inferiority complex," which is not a clinical term, but refers to an underlying impoverished ego or low self-esteem—a jealous man who feels insecure in his romantic relationships,
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world without leaders? on: November 09, 2017, 10:11:45 AM
I think there will be total disarray at first, but eventually it will reach control groups and ultimately leaders. There can be no organization between people without leaders.

PAUL JOHNSON:

The lights are all on,there is riotous eating and drinking in the dining car, there are frantic games of poker, the darkened countryside hurtles past as we head for the millennium, but in the engineer’s cab there is a collection of second-rate men holding futile arguments.
