1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 04, 2019, 09:55:04 PM
I'm shocked people have posted information about Vern's Chinese business activities and he still hasn't been located.  It begs the question is anyone actually looking - it's only a matter of time. I have a feeling all the user data or a snapshot of it was backed up somewhere and will come out in time. Sure it was wiped from the server but no one is going to wipe it without a backup plan - a potential bargaining chip when eventually found.

As much as I hate to admit it I do feel sorry for Vern. I don't believe he has access to any of the stolen coins, it's no way to live as he would have known he couldn't touch that wallet after the fact. Bad situations turn good guys into bad guys. The business got to the stage it was because of Vern and his dedication, I'm positive if he could have prevented the hack he would have. It was a new territory of course there will be mistakes along the way. If Vern ever stumbles across this thread, some friendly advise:

Come forward, give the loyal users who supported you the respect they deserve and lift the burden of guilt from your shoulders and live free. You're a visionary - you should be proud of what you created. It wasn't your fault, you were one man with big visions. I think the community will understand and your redemption story will be one of greatness. We just want answers. And I'm sure you coming forward will help you sleep better at night and return to a life of peace. There's opportunity out there for you in a changing world, since Cryptsy was hacked the same has happened to countless other exchanges - the community understands - help the wounds of the past heal.

~ A loyal Cryptsy user

Paul had embezzled money out of Cryptsy before the hack happened - I think around 3.5 million if memory serves correct. . The hack was also only able to happen because of severe negligence. Whoever stole them is waiting for the statute of limitations to take effect - that would be my guess.

I stumbled across this research that Cryptsy did on the Stolen funds. I found it interesting, so I posted.  Its older information, but first time I had seen it.

Crypto MaAk posted this:

https://pastebin.com/gFgSazs0

Very interesting..first time I've seen any of that as well. Of course crypto being crypto I'm sure nothing much will come of this information :/

Depends who sees it.

Good stuff!

Good snuff my fuckin ass!!! The article is riddle with grammatical errors, wondering out loud what entity now has him on their payroll. As for the following ...

Shout out to people such as Mullick, Jim Blasko and Marshall Long and Horus. These are all guys I truly respect in this space and will do anything for with no questions asked.

This fuckin Mark needs to have his goddamn head examined.

Hey, Horus (who I respect), how does it feel to have an ex-Cryptsy employee give you the same respect as he does for Mullick, Jim Blasko and Marshall Long?

For those new to this space, read my thread on Marshall Long --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1303147.0, considered to be one of the top five lyin' pieces of shit scumbags in this space. If after reading that thread and you still don't concur, let's meetup for some brewskis where we'll publicly cup one another's balls.

As for the Pastbin, I'm just gonna leave this here ...

Looks like Dan needed some more circuits in his home in 2013 to do what? Mine? --> https://www.hullcc.gov.uk/paweb/publicaccess-live/buildingControlDetails.do?activeTab=dates&keyVal=MNZ9EUSO02K00 (ref.: https://ipwiki.wiki/danedgecumbe.com.html).

I feel Mark's heart is in the right place.  I think everyone helped him a bit, regardless of how shitty some are.  I liked Mark enough to recommend him for a job after everything that happened.  I will say that's some great work on other stuff you posted as well.  If you want, I guess we can meet up for some ball cupping sometime soon. Not that I'm against what you posted, I'm just down for some ball cuppin.

I just replied to Horus ...

Good afternoon,

I dont have your number anymore as it was in a DM sent to my main account.

I can call though if you send it again and verify it's me.

Thank you.

Okay, I just got off the phone with Horus, and his account of what happened is verified. He's in the process of gaining his account back. Shit! I forgot to request some haggis from him for a Christmas present.  Cry

It's actually specifically illegal to send haggis to the states sadly. haha

Hey, this is Horus.

It looks like my main account has been compromised.

Everyone please disregard any messages from it.

I will let you know when I have it back.

Thank you
