It's interesting to hear that lysanderspooner got a response from Coinbase in about 5 hours and withdrawal the next day. I cashed out different amounts of BTC on Monday and Wed, contacted them on Thurs. No response. No money. Hoping all credits to my bank account on Monday. Of course it's  right when I'm leaving for vacation that this would happen and I can't access my funds. Not happy  Undecided

Have had positive experience with coinbase until recently, withdrew BTC to Fiat on Monday, was supposed to be in my account by Wed. Nothing. Noted that I had supposedly purchased more BTC on Wed (had not done such a thing!) - Then noted that this was supposedly an "adjusting entry" for my previous BTC sell. No idea what that means. Emailed support, 48 hours and no response. I sold the BTC I was "given" - not even sure that it's a valid sale and why I was given BTC at a random price on Wed when I sold at a specific price on Monday. I leave for Tokyo next week and no money in the bank account I was planning on using. Extremely unhappy and concerned.

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy bitcoin or litecoin? Or both? on: November 13, 2013, 11:19:41 PM
Litecoin is not actually moving much. It appears as if there was a correlation between the prices of the two but not so much any longer. Since BTC price has exploded and crossed 350USD  (coinbase). I've noticed the price of LTC go up to 4 USD on BTC-e, but it's been pretty disappointing in general. There were rumours that LTC would eventually be added to Gox but this hasn't happened yet and most of the hype was due to one well-known P&D'er by the name of fontas. Currently I am MINING LTC just to have some on the side in the case something ever happens around it and price rockets, but at the moment BTC seems to be the winner in where to buy. I would hurry up though or wait for a "crash" in order to get a cheaper price point on BTC because the price has only been increasing as of late and it is difficult to get any sort of profit margin on BTC unless you are investing 100s of thousands or millions.
